If anyone was wondering under which rule the last thread of mine got deleted + I got banned for 3 days (which I waited out), it was for 'offtopic'. I'm honestly as bewildered as you probably are.
The reason shown is that Deku prevented him from killing All Might. But so did Bakugo and Todoroki though, so it doesn't make sense. The real difference from those two is that Deku also nearly killed him with a 100% punch that Nomu was there to block. But he isn't shown to ever think about that moment outside of talking to All Might right after.

Is it possible Deku's ninth quirk to awaken will be massively powerful telekinesis, if his Mom really is pulling a Mrs. Weasley? I don't think he will be, but it would be awesome, it's true. I just want him to get some resistors implanted in himself or just in his suit contacting his skin, in the style of Adolf from Terra Formars, but less angsty and not a cuckold or one half of a bizarre out-of-place Hitler reference. That way he could maybe go all out, but if the resistors overload he could die. Or, they could be huge capacitors attached to his head or something, crazy headgear and limited ability to go out and zap to the extreme without going whey for a few minutes.

My latest theory is that Endeavor will tell Deku to shut the fuck up, and then Bakugo will voice agreement or gloat, and then Endeavor will tell Bakugo to also shut the fuck up.
Could be an autopilot function for humans. Fight/Flight is in everybody, it's probably related to that; or it be copying the how the thing fights in front of it (consider, it's grapples Aizawa, but only starts punching All Might - he was copying them; hence why High End wanted to go after the #1, to learn from him)

The only real plot hole in MHA is that All Might's ability to puff himself up into "muscle form" is a) purely visual, and b) totally unrelated to One For All. It's also not a quirk.
The story then goes on to totally contradict this. All Might cannot use OFA outside of muscle form for some reason. The limitations around All Might's ability to use OFA are physically represented by his ability to use muscle form. When he's running out of OFA while fighting All For One, his muscle form shows where and how much he is using OFA, even though they are completely unrelated. Then as soon as the battle ends, we go back to pretending muscle form has nothing to do with OFA so that Hori can still have him use it to pose for brief periods in many scenes, but not really because he can't even maintain it anymore after losing OFA, despite it having nothing to do with OFA.
Then Shoto will tell Endeavor to shut the fuck up, and the four of them train in silence for a while, awkwardly. Yeah I think we're pretty much all in agreement on this one, hopefully Hori actually delivers. It's an artistic representation of his might, but also a morale booster for the people he wants to save, and also for comic relief.
He's drawn really cute but is canonically regarded as looking "very plain". It's MC syndrome, he has to look good to sell the show but nobody can act like he does.

Maybe in BNHA universe the proliferation of quirks affects biology indirectly related to having a quirk.
For example, maybe the reason Endeavor is so physically strong is because the traits he has that allow him to withstand his own heat also cause him to be very robust and strong in general. And we see characters like Stain or Bakugou with clearly superhuman mobility and power outside of their quirk. Quirkdom just leaks into the rest of biology and has residual effects in order to accomodate the existence of quirks.

Revisiting the Stain arc made me realize one of the reasons why MHA is so popular (other that being in the right place at the right time, culturally speaking): it's really good with emotions. Even if it isn't super complex, the fight with Stain (particularly as Iida gets rescued by Deku) is excellently done in terms of conveying the characters' feelings and the stakes at hand. It makes you give a shit.
