Nen is like stands "especially the current arc with Nen beasts" but more balanced and the usage has clear rules and drawbacks while accomodating for the nen users personality and state of mind to greatly affect what type of ability they have.
Ian Richardson
The pokemon manga and anime (especially the manga) is filled with strategic kino so yes. Also, Ash losing every time adds some credibility to the stakes that other shonen don't have.
Michael Rivera
Replace Black Clover with Naruto.
Brayden Jones
I prefer narrow systems. Stuff like the A to B oattern in Law of Ueki or how characters in Mx0 specialize in one spell.
Wyatt Martinez
that's exactly why nen is #1, why a guy with RUBBER AND GUM end up being one of the strongest, knowledge, observation and deceive.
Dominic Ward
Reiatsu literally isn't even a power system. It's just a symptom of your Reiryoku. This guy never watched or read any amount of Bleach in his life.
I'm willing to bet that this brainlet meant the rules for NGNL even though it's implied those are only enforced by the preexisting magic.
>Pokemon Literally what the fuck did he mean by this?
>Nen in first place meme Balanced ≠ good. Just obscenely unrealistic. HxHfags cope.
Josiah Harris

Joseph Wilson
>seething bleachfag The only reason I don't "yikes" your post is use of "not equals" sign instead of "=/=" some retards use.
Grayson Diaz
The balanced part nigger. There are infinitely more ways for a power system to be unbalanced than balanced. Quirks are more believable than whatever divine intervention was required to cook up that dumb system that is widely-known to be a rip-off off jrpg power systems. HxH is literally isekaishit.
Xavier King
>Stands Any JoJo fan that is honest with himself will know that this is the most inconsistent part of the series
Connor Peterson
>there are people outside its monthly threads are familiar with World Trigger Color me shocked
Based. Nen being so rule-tight removes tension and makes any hope for future big bads boring or non-existent. More like isekai than shounen. The character designs suck too.
Robert Phillips

Yeah you're literally just spewing general dumb shit mixed in with buzzwords and blatantly wrong information, anyone can easily tell you didn't watch or read HxH, let's end this conversation before you embarass yourself even more.
Jose Murphy
When was rule 2 broken?
Jaxson Anderson
Some random counterexamples: 1. Dragon's Dream 2. Superfly 3. Every automatic stand ever 4. Anubis 5. B.I.G
Robert Scott
You guys are forgetting the best part: Nen is literally a retcon.
>in anime More like "in battle shonen". Watch/read more anime/manga.

how many series that aren't battle shonen have a power system? Are there a lot of josei romances with good power systems?
Wyatt Gutierrez
Ignore that post, it's literally retarded to the root.
Caleb Wright
>no Game no Life even on the list It's the worst waste of a good concept for a combat system ever made, unless the novels drastically improved from what we saw on the series
Nicholas Bailey
The most infamous example I can think of is Mista shooting Clash
Juan Kelly
Maybe that's why Togashi basically forgot all the rules and just started to make stands
Mason Richardson
I can think of one non-battle seinen with a nice one, but it's basically a needle in a haystack.
How can you say this is true when you claim that no one understand it
Adrian Reed
Proof?
Austin Roberts
Breaking rules every now and then keeps things interesting on the long run. Not to mention some barely being broken like Rule 4. It's better than Nen because Nen has built in hax through Specialists and the stupid "stronger after death" rule. Nen is still amazing though.
Josiah Ramirez
Most times, the rule breaking is specific and limited to certain Stands. The fact that automatic Stands with limitless range appeared doesn't mean that Jotaro will suddenly be able to break the range rule with Star Platinum. I don't think that strictly keeping the rules is 100% necessary, as long as you treat the exceptions properly. For example, for One Piece, having only one Devil Fruit was a strict rule, and having Blackbeard break it was used to hype him and set up the mystery of why he was able to break it. It's not like the rule was ignored or regularly broken afterwards.
Luis Hall

My top three are >1. Alchemy >2. Stands >3. Nen
Alchemy to me is the best, not for it's creativity in battles or creative abilities, but for the way it shaped the world. It has a integral part to everything plot wise in FMA, the lore, the history, the religions, the cultural differences of countries, it's a world firmly built around alchemy and to me makes it the most interesting. 2.Stands don't have much in the way of world building, nor do they have the most iron clad rules, but in terms of creativity, especially in a somewhat monster of the week format, makes it almost the best for me. Milagroo Man is one of my favourite chapters just for the idea of the stand, Shakedown Abbey as well, D4C, the list never really ends when it comes to god tier stands 3.Nen boasts both creativity and fantastic amounts of rules, making the power seem very real and very tangible, while also being so free that it allows people to make anything they want and have it be believable in the setting. It's probably the most fun ability to think about learning, thinking about what type you'd fall into, etc. It to me lacks in world building and designs, most nen abilities don't have the strongest or most impactful looks to them, and the world doesn't feel tightly built around nen as FMA, so it's third to me, but still amazing.
Honorary mention to Zatch Bell/Konjiki no Gash for being so simple and avoiding clutter where it isn't needed, unlike most shonen.
I guess that's a point, nen being a secret to the world at large is not only unrealistic but creates a missed opportunity for worldbuilding. I hadn't thought about that.
Joseph Edwards
>MFW the stands are bound by even stricter rules compared to regular nen. Stop talking about a manga that you haven't even read yet retard.
nen being a secret to the public also just straight up makes no sense when anyone with a cable subscription can watch nen UFC on tv

Heaven's arena has floors that aren't available to the public if that's what you'really talking about. And floor master fights are exclusive events. You'd have to be a fighter yourself or very affluent to watch those matches.
Carter Campbell
It was just a one month break due to gallbladder complications. He's mostly fine now.
Are you implying berserk belongs anywhere near top 10? Elemental powers and "muh armor that drains lifespan but doesn't actually result in any consewuence" are the most generic shit ever.
Colton Morris
Berserk was so much better when Gut's "power" was just the cannon in his arm.
Lincoln Davis
I agree with both of you, but HunterxHunter was conceived as a manga about Collectors where the protags join a Secret Society to travel around the world looking for the protag's dad by collecting Items he left in a Treasure Hunt. And then just derailed from that concept. So, Nen being a secret is probably one of the first things conceived about the system.
Cooper Thomas
>Huntre x Huntre Even more based
Christian White
Just go to show that a lot of people prefer flashy, unique powers over standardized guns and swords. World Trigger had to sacrifice a lot of that in exchange for an asspull-proof power system.
Jonathan Reed
I'm pointing out non battle shounen that have power systems. You cam ask a new question about if they are top 10 but that wasn't my concern.
Jordan Phillips
How bout PATHS, muh nigguhs
Evan Hill
I don't like it, but Pokemon's the only accurate one here. Base stats (BST) measures the absolute maximum potential a Pokemon can have. Of course, the outcome of a battle doesn't rely solely on that, but as a scale, it's the best out of that list.
Gabriel Wood
90% of these are essentially powers that can be pulled of out someone's ass with no real restrictions or rules that define them.
Try the Nasuverse or Toaru's complex magical system if you want to see how a real "hard" magic works.
>the world doesn't feel tightly built around nen Why would it be? It is considered just a type of martial art. They live in a world were talking animals can turn themselves into people, so nen and related shit are not so exceptional. Plus they can see only the effects of the nen like punching a wall into pieces or controlling objects with the force of the mind, so it's not so simple to recognize it as a single discipline. So why Nen it's not more widespread? Simply put, it is because it's very hard to learn. In our world there are people capable of this: youtube.com/watch?v=7qHL2PSpecI but to the best of my knowledge, you'll never seen an entire army composed of shaolin monks, even because a gun is pretty much more dangerous than a kung fu master (often nen too is less dangerous than regular fire guns). Remember the strongest character in the serting died to a mundane, cheap nuke. So nen, for them, is just a pseudo magical martial art, certainly very strong, but not so much that establish a new world order completely different from ours.
Yeah, I don't think its bad, nor even a missed opportunity, nen is too loose and free-flowing to affect culture at large in an interesting way, if you ask me. I can't imagine something like FMA with nen, you could have some stuff, but I think it's fine as is. I just prefer FMA for the story-telling. I agree with a lot of your points, but when i imagine the long-standing idea of a life-power based system, I imagine it affecting how the citizens view religion, how people would view history, how different countries would view it differently and create different cultures about how it is used. I understand it's very hard to learn, and I don't think it'd make sense for it to not be as wide spread as Alchemy, but I would like more ideas about how great priests, monks, or religious entities in general would have influenced the world with nen. Also, I personally find most, not all, but most of the core emotional moments or resonating character moments to not need nen, theoritcally another power could work for all but ||Adult Gon|| off the top of my head, while I can't imagine any moments of FMA without alchemy. Granted I haven't finished FMA yet, so I can't speak for every moment, but so far.
I did the discord spoilers instead of ctrl+s I'm sorry.
I put em 4th , they don't have any real fun rules, they don't have the greatest creativity all the time, but I found their simple just, "I do this", made the pacing much better, made the fights flow much easier without having to explain why situations were occurring, etc. The blunt "heart power" is way better than convulsed and tripe stuff
Wyatt King
>Estabilished power >Asspull Choose one
Nicholas Cook
The problem with the idea of nen staying secret is illustrated clearly in the current arc, oddly enough. If you are an elite who wants to seize power, or start a straight up rebellion, the best way to gain power is to arm as many of your followers with nen as you possibly can, probably using one of the cheap methods since they are just disposable soldiers. Then your enemies have to do the same, and from there it is no longer a secret at all. And that would've been even more true at any time before the modern era, even 100 years ago in our world a nen user could have been the strongest individual thing on the battlefield.
Blake Wright

Not many nen users can stop a bullet unharmed. And we know that the political body that felt comfortable enough to have a nuke detonated in another country also employs the lone organization solely populated by nen users.
Power isn't solely based on having super powers in this setting.
Zachary Foster
Based, faggots don't want real and interesting discussions in threads like these they just want circlejerking and memes.
Liam Miller
Fans of HxH can only keep up with the series via YouTube reviewers. They never have a clue what’s happening
Caleb Russell
Why is the Hunter Association the bitch of G5? G5 has nobody who can topple them in military might it makes no sense.
Cooper James
Nen requires an insane amount of training, and it's also invisible to regular people. It definitely plays a role on the world, for example the police doesn't go for the Genei Ryodan, they delegate nen criminals to black list hunters. Kakin, where the HA don't have much power, has a military that tries to monopolize the information about nen. The existence of nen explains why the HA is so powerful, they have a big grip, almost a monopoly, on qualified nen users. Nen is like big guns, only the military, criminal groups like the mafia, or other organizations on that level deal with them, they don't produce any tangible immediate benefit for regular people. Alchemy can be used and observed by anyone, and it's useful for lots of shit in regular life because you don't have to be Bruce Lee for it to work.
That being said, the fact that the fights on the upper floors of heaven arena are very public spectacles makes it look like the public knowledge of nen should be more ample. Killua in particular not knowing anything about Nen while his little brother already has a hatsu sticks out too much. However, that might be poor planning on Togashi's part, Illumi's last scene with Killua during the Hunter Exam really reeks of nen.
Zachary Wilson

Sebastian Collins
Chrollo and Hisoka had a pretty big audience
Luke Garcia
What the fuck are you talking about, they are the ones that sanctioned the use of the Rose bomb which guaranteed can kill any of them. You thinking they are somehow the most powerful entity in the world reveals your shonentardism

And Togashi literally wrote in dialogue that the entire audience are people from the 200 floor and up and floor masters.
Zachary Anderson

Sebastian Murphy
The distinction is that shit like Notorious B.I.G. or Sheer Heart Attack are built around being exceptions to specific rules. If a Stand just randomly broke one of those rules with no setup it'd be bad, but having a few Stands that are entirely built around being unconventional and defying a rule or two makes things interesting.
Oliver Foster
I like the Fate magic system, but it isn't really consistent enough for a list like this. Nasu loves having rules just for the sake of being broken, and it works with the idea of Servants being abnormal, but you can't really call it hard magic if it doesn't have much in the way of actual laws beyond 'rule of cool'
So you actually are just a brain dead retard who thinks nukes can be used that simply?
The Hunter Association is the most powerful organization in the series and it doesn’t even take an average IQ to realize this. Explain why they are the G5’s loyal dog when they are more powerful or fuck off.
Nathan Nelson
I get what you're saying, but I think you're missing my point. My issues isn't so as much as "the world at large doesn't use it", moreso the world at large hasn't been influenced by it, unknowingly. I would like to hear about a priest who learned nen and used it to heal people in the name of his god, furthering his religion onto the world. I would like to hear about great warriors defeating hordes of enemies using nen. The citizens of HxH wouldn't know it's nen, they'd just believe it like people do the bible, or romanticized historical accounts. For example, I love how in FMA they talk about how in both the east and west, alchemy has a very similar origin, with the same person presenting it, but the way both cultures view the story is different. So in this way, I'd love to see how even just 2 or 3 people with nen could have changed HxH's history or relgion, with the citizens thinking it's the act of god.
Also yeah, Kalluto having a full nen ability in CA while was older and didn't know anything is odd.
Elijah Collins
V5 are literally the leaders of every country and continent, if you think hunters can defy the entire world's continents you are out of your fucking mind, there are 600-700 hunters tops, the world's military might alone not only has countless nen users not belonging to the Hunter's association but they also have weapons of mass destruction, jets, tanks, everything, the only thing who'd have been able to oppose the V5 is Meruem if he succeeded in creating more Queens, the V5 also give the Hunter's association all it's perks and privileges in exchange for it's obediance, but the privileges alone are so insane that millions attempt the Hunter's exam every year and fail before even reaching the exam site.
Elijah Harris
The Zoldyck family alone could assassinate every world leader from the organization.
Camden Lewis
That's what they did with the mafia leaders and it kinda worked, I'm not really sure they could bypass presidential security very easily, and even if they could you'd only end up killing country leaders, in a democracy it really doesn't matter, the nation will still keep it's entire military might, elect another leader, and that's the end of it, same thing with the mafia, again, the leaders were all killed, but the mafias are still strong and going about their business.
Sebastian Thomas
Sorry, but advertising your youtube videos on Yea Forums is not allowed.

Nen in principle is the best thought out and most creative, in practice much less. I remember slogging through chapter after chapter explaining how versatile and unpredictable it was, and then it culminated in Kurapika defeating his foe (whose power is a Togashi staple, huhuhuh I make myself stronger) by making his chains invisible, and it's presented in a way that's supposed to make us think this is an incredibly clever application and usage of nen.
I'd say Stands are the most interesting power system out there. Simplistic but when a Stand Fight is good, it's kino
John Russell
The world leaders could just rose bomb the shit out of them
Charles Moore
Oh, well, it's true, HxH doesn't have that kind of worldbuilding. The Zoldycks are almost legendary as paid assassins, though, and in their world, any kind of talent is explained as the ability to pour aura onto certain things, but not much else besides that. I guess that the people that do weird shit with their aura, like the blind girl that just changed the meta twice, just go their entire lives without knowing that they're using nen. Since Jesus exists on their world, it would be interesting to know if he pulled a Rubber Nen to resurrect.
Evan Phillips
The clever part was the fact that Kurapika fooled the Phantom Troupe into thinking he was a manipulator using real chains instead of a conjurer using nen chains, which allowed him to apply In to one of his chains without Uvogin realising it, of course Uvogin is retarded because Chrollo and the others instantly knew that Kurapika isn't dumb and only chose to fight Uvo for his simple brain and over-confidence. In HxH, Uvo is the first introduction of very high power level and insane physical strength < preparation, planning and awareness of your opponent's strengths and weaknesses.
Austin Cruz
Why is this trash thread still up?
Benjamin Edwards
>swordsmenship >haki Those aren't really seperate...
Joshua White
Keep bumping it tho retard.
Jeremiah Young
It sucked specially because it wasn't clever, Kurapika was just capable to use all the Nen types with more efficiency than usual. For regular users, making a chain move with so much precission would be the advantage of a manipulator, while a conjurator could make his objects invisible. I think that the problem is that Togashi made some types better, I don't know if he liked them more, or if they were easier to write. Conjurators can do almost anything that the other Nen types can do, for example, the emmiters are suppossedly the ones that can project their aura with more ease, but a conjurer can just make an object with aura, give it special properties, throw it away and control it at a distance. Transmuters, on the other hand, are very limited. The aura can have different properties, but it's still aura.
Anthony Price
the biggest problem with nen is that no matter how hard Togashi tries to come up with clever hatsus, the people using them almost always end up jobbing to characters that just massively overpower them. The only time nen is actually used to its full potential is Chrollo vs. Hisoka and a few minor fights in the chimera ant arc
Adrian Clark
The current arc is entirely the opposite of what you said, it fixes every "problem" you have with Nen.
Matthew Martin
>The Hunter Association is the most powerful organization in the series and it doesn’t even take an average IQ to realize this. Shonentardism has rotted out your brain. I don't even think you reach 90 IQ. The Hunter Association exists in the world as a nonprofit organization. Their services can be employed by various organizations and governmental entities. They hold some level of sway but are just as susceptible to be influenced by bureaucracy as anyone else. It's no different than the U.N's increasing use of PMCs worldwide for clandestine operations to destabilize war-torn nations. That's exactly what happened in the CA arc.
Here, your shonentard half-brain will say, "B-but they so strong!" The series going through great lengths to show it takes relative force to deal with large threats. Nen isn't some invincible power. The average user can be gunned down, and the more dangerous he is, the larger the counter will have to be. Do you honestly think the the series' equivalent of the U.N would allow for an organization to exist if there weren't procedures put in placed to deal with them if they get out of hand? Of course not. In fact they didn't even have to use Hunters in the DC expedition, they did so because it far less costly and they trusted them to keep their mouths shut.
Get it through your head that this isn't Naruto or Dragon Ball were they can blow up country sized landmasses to entertain the children.
This is the real undisputed list: Pokémon Dragon Ball “Power Level,” (named after it) Nen Furyoku (Shaman King) Douriki (One Piece) Rei-Ki/Youki (YuYu Hakashu) Top five only because the others are too weak.
>Quirks >A good system Lmao. It’s literally just a lottery.
Ryder Roberts
Has Yea Forums sunk this low that we are now discussing youtubers?
William Miller
The power system in Chainsaw Man has serious potential. The humans are normal and devils are the only supernatural element of the world. Devils are each based on concepts and the more that concept is feared the more powerful the devil is. In order to fight hostile devils humans make contracts with other devils to borrow their power. The contracts cannot be disobeyed by devils but in exchange the agreed upon price(whatever price the devil asks for) must be payed. Some devils fight alongside humans if they can be kept on a leash. The power balance between devils, with powerful abilities, and humans, who are organized into a society is interesting to watch as the humans generally have the situation under control, but at the cost of the high mortality rate of devil hunters.
Well, they didn't really act like that. They all easily panicked, and even the referee got killed without offering any resistance. Are you going to tell me that, from an audience of more than one hundred of nen users, no one can do anything if the fighters go rogue?
Owen Morales
>we
Jose Hughes
That's why I think the overall system of nen is clever, because it's so versatile it allows for fakeouts like this, but the conclusion of that fight felt so....underwhelming. And I understand the narrative point of Uvo but in an arc all about how unique and cool and dangerous nen is, it's disappointing that one of the first abilities we're introduced to is the one Togashi used in a previous manga, the superpower to just get stronger.
This current arc is the best in HxH so far precisely because of this, it makes nen feel so much more meaningful and hashed out
Isaiah Jenkins
>1. Nen Well at least they got one right.
Lincoln Hall
I don't think the G5 wouldn't have hunters or hunter-level nen users on its payroll. The HA is not some kind of super organization that can use every hunter as their soldiers, they're not that loyal. They're merely the negotiators between hunters in general and people like the G5. I wouldn't also call them bitches, it's not like the G5 does what they want with Netero and the HA. I don't think that most governments would be happy with things like Ging having a dangerous murderer with a life sentence working as a final boss on his private videogame island.
Benjamin Collins
What was the point of Reiatsu ? I don't remember it playing any role whatsoever. It was simply mentioned as whatever the guys were using. Something as simple as haki is a better system
>He doesn’t like magic apps Get with the times old man.

UQ holder is a parallel universe or some gay shit.
Ryder Perry
You actually are as much of a retard as that user is making you out to be. Yorkshire City was proof in itself that entire organized armies can be exterminated by a single unit of nen users. This is just a shonen like any other where the one with the most destructive power is the biggest threat(meruem).
Are you actually retarded or just false flagging?
Xavier Ortiz
Reiatsu (spiritual pressure) as the name suggests is the pressure created when you flex your reiryoku (spirit energy). Firing lasers, flying, etc consumes your reiatsu/reiryoku

Damn you're pretty dumb, characters can still use adjacent nen categories at 80% efficiency.
Lucas Morgan
Nen isn't a lottery speedreading faggot-kun, it's literally the opposite, your Hatsu reflects your personality, subconscious and needs, are you a maniac Prince who likes to dissect people and hates liars but would give them a second chance to serve him before passing final judgement? enter a Nen power that works subconsciouly by marking anyone who lies to you the first time, gives them a verbal warning the second time, and turns them into mindless zombies who serve you after the third lie.
>A manipulator can still use emission relatively well A manipulator can never utilize emission well further more why would you want to use inferior versions of a specific type when you're already good at the one you were born with. A person with one quirk can apply it to do many things beyond its origin status.
Jackson Powell

Elijah Collins

Eh that's not really his true ability moreso his nen stand but you're right that it has relation to the users personality, which is another reason why nen is the best power system.

Grayson Brooks
You haven't made a single argument worth considering. I had you pegged as fucking stupid the second you thought they could take over the world just by killing random V5 officials. Like you fundamentally can't grasp how these democratic international entities operate and how killing the president doesn't mean America just stops. Not only would assassinating them do jackshit if they could, the retaliation will be the full force of the armies of the world or a simple bombing run. They don't come out alive, doofus, this can't be hard.

Hey dumbass. Your power being chosen based on a specific aspect of yourself IS a lottery system.
Michael Rivera
>Doesn’t explain how it’s a lottery system Are you retarded? Genetics are a lottery system. You have no control over what you get, or any input into it. By definition a lottery. >B-but nen is too! Benjamin Hughes
>literally wanting a specific Nen power and getting it >be conjurer >want the power to punch really hard >cant get it

To a certain extent, fucking YES, but in HxH its much more apparent and pronounced, literally every single Nen power reflects it's user's personality perfectly that you can summarise their characteristics just from analyzing the power and not even hearing a single thought or word ever come out of their mouth.
>Genetics are a lottery system. Go be stupid somewhere else.
Samuel Smith
>Can’t get it Yes, you can. You can use all types (besides specialist, that’s a born talent).

>Genetics are a lottery system. >But your personality isn't.

>besides specialist, that’s a born talent So lottery?

I'm talking about his Hatsu, Kurapika's entire Hatsu is a self harming revenge based ability, it drains his stamina and life span at an alarming rate and would instantly explode his heart if he uses Chain Jail on someone who doesn't belong to the spider. He's a self harming individual and is aware of it, he knows the price of revenge but proceeds to pay it anyway, which is why he's already lost 6 years of his life on a small mistake and will most likely die by the end of the arc.

I think more than general categorizing found in nen, giving unique abilities to characters that you can discern their personality to a large extent is a better way to use a power system(especially if the character is somewhat complex and has underlying motivations, reflected by the ability, such as with Obito from Naruto.)
Ryder Cook
Your quirk doesn't manifest until your 4 years old and is primarily based on your personality. You can have the best genes in the world but your quirk can be considered lousy by default or the complete opposite to what your parents have.
>No, it’s not It is. Any system that is determined by a predetermined factor is a lottery system retard.
Jonathan Bell
Quirks would be better is hori knew how to write fights that don't involve midfight asspulls or "I won because I tried really hard"
Cooper Morales
Boruto is something entirely different from Naruto,No you can't learn Kekkei genkai, they come with Genetics.
>I'm talking about his Hatsu Which is shit he developed outside his Nen type. He is a Conjuror who learned how to use different Nen types the point being that he didn't want to be that type because he thought it wouldn't be of any use against the Spiders.
Which ended up being a wrong statement coming from someone who didn't understand how Nen works, Conjuration ends up being the most interesting Nen power since you can give special abilities to the items you conjure and make the abilities stronger in exchange for a harsh condition, he wanted enhancement because he thought just being an enhancer and punching the fuck out of the Phantom Troupe would work, an extremely retarded point of view fit for someone who doesn't understand Nen, characters make mistakes and develop, conjuration is perfect for him at the end.

A bit of headcanon, but who says that all the knowledge our characters have of Nen existed 100 years ago? When Netero returned from his mountain trip 80 years ago, it seemed like he had no idea about Nen himself. It is possible that back in the day you only had Nen geniuses and martial artists with basic stuff like Gyo, and things like Categories and advanced Nen techniques are new developments. The current arc implies that there are things about Nen that only the Hunter Association knows.
And note that Nen geniuses can develop things like Invisibility and Future Sight on their own. That should allow even societies without Nen users to have some defenses against Nen users.
>Hunter Association is the strongest military force in the world Not by a longshot. 1) Most Hunters are only loyal to the HA because of the privileges it gives them. And those privileges are enabled by the V5. I doubt Gon or any of our protags, before Leorio became a Zodiac, would have bothered defending the Association if it came into conflict with the V5. And even among the 20% that migh be loyal to the HA, you are going to have citizens of the V5. 2) The Kakin army has over 30 Nen users on board of the boat right now. They must have at least that many on land. And they are just "V6". Most of the V5 probably has at least 100 or so Nen users in Secret Service and Military per country. 3) If Kakin royalty has a secret ritual to protect their Monarchy over generations, can you imagine what the MKUltra Project or Illuminati analogues of this world could do?
And it is not like the V5 has given any irrational orders to the Association. They are just watching out for their best interests, just like Netero was watching for the best interests of the Association, as well as his own.

I'm looking at you yes
Elijah Bell
>Nen expert >doesn't understand how Nen works
Kayden Hughes
Yes a smart person unlike you retard
Andrew Davis
>People defending capeshit >Smart At least you have a good sense of humor
When he said he wanted enhancement he didn't even have a Hatsu yet or know shit about Nen other than the other basic principles Ten Zetsu and Ren, what the fuck are you talking about user ?
Anthony Hughes
I thought you was talking about his trainer. Nevermind.
