ITT: Series that start strong then decline over time

Pic related. The first arc is literally the best one.

>make a manga where the goal is to escape
>quality decreases after they escape
Color me shocked. Sometimes stuff just has to know when to end

Goblin Slayer

I mean we're not even at the end of the current arc m8

let alone people actually thinking it's going to end "soon" there's far too many unknowns for the story to end up to this point feels like a repeat of what happened with psyren

Ehi! I tought Goldye pound arc was loved by Yea Forums

That's not the point. Tpn really peaked with its first arc then declined. Its actually a pretty rare sight. Usually series need time to pick up the pace.

It's probably the only good arc too.

>Author and Jump both confirmed it's ending
I give it 6 months max.

But what about Phil?

When they clearly only had the first arc planned out and started making it up as they went afterwards it makes sense that a lot of loose ends are going to be left behind

Anime Prison Break will end up just like Prison Break.

Redpill me about Phil.

Goldy Pond was great, it was just a weird shift from mindgames to holy fuck kids are spraying mountains of lead and the demon threat being more direct. Went downhill hard after ANDREW.

Quick rundown on Phil:

-Mamas bow to Phil
-In contact with demons
-Possess psychic-like abilities
-Control Gracefield with an iron but fair fist
-Own orphanages globally
-Direct descendant of the ancient royal blood line
-Will bankroll the first cities in the outer world (Philland will be be the first city)
-Own 99% of DNA editing research facilities on Earth
-Gracefield babies are in all likelihood Phil babies
-said to have 315+ IQ, such intelligence on Earth has only existed deep in Cuvitidala & Lambda labs
-Ancient demon scriptures tell an angel who will descend upon Earth and will bring an era of enlightenment and unprecedented technological progress with them
-He owns train R&D labs around the world
-You will ride a Phil train inthe future
-He learned fluent demonish in under a week
-Phil is about 6 years old, from the space-time reference point of the base human currently accepted by our society
-In reality, he is a timeless being existing in all points of time and space from the big bang to the end of the universe. We don’t know his ultimate plans yet. We hope he is a benevolent being.
