If you want positive validation at this level, I'd recommend adding colors. Doubly so in case of fulfilling requests with your own style, where you can easily tell it's a short haired girl, but not necessarily that it's this one short haired girl user requested in particular.

Practice and look at references. Start simple and work your way towards more complicated poses.

Eyes are too large in both. Torso anatomy is flawed. The spine curves, it isn't straight-45 degree bend-straight. Chest and collar bone proportions look good. Right arm geometry is wrong, unless her elbow is broken backwards. Perspective seems muddled, certain angles seem not quite right on the chest and hips.

there's quite a lot of people in the world who can bend their below like that, it's not that crazy.

I need to improve but my art either gets hugboxed or ignored. I've been stuck in the same spot artistically for years because everyone's too much of a pussy to say "this looks like shit" and actually give me useful feedback if they don't like it.

There are multiple platforms and communities dedicated to getting better at art, and Yea Forums's Yea Forums drawthread isn't one of them. If you really want to improve, not just say you want to, you should get the hell out of here, out of hugboxes and especially out of your comfort zone.

There's also another aspect of the problem - do you really want to improve? Is the voice in your head telling you aren't good enough ambition or low self-esteem? Maybe you actually enjoy where you are artistically. In the end, unless you're seriously planing to make a career out of your art, it's okay to just have fun. It's a hobby, it's something you're supposed to do when you want to relax after a stressful day or week.

There's a middle ground too between these stances, but it does involve drawing 3DPD, sadly. It's your choice.

I agree with the other user. Use your eyes. Feedback will not magically fix your problems. It may help in the short term but if you want real sustainable improvement, you need to develop your own critical eye.

And a piece of advice: don't blame it on anyone other than yourself. YOU want to be an artist, YOU have to work for it.
