Absolutely nothing, and there was never a sequel series to indicate anything different

Good question, why didn't we see her and Renton commit "hips moving on their own" to make that kid of theirs?

How is she a living coral reef?

This is the ugliest fucking thing I've ever seen.

pretty good episode though

Attached: 1548216353413.png (1122x1080, 586K)

That's the kind of sequel we needed. Start from where the original anime ended and follow Renton and Eureka as they explored the world and each others's bodies. Maybe the first pregnancy could be accidental after plenty of sex.

you have more than enough doujins with that

What the fuck do you think a CORALian is?

But I really don't. 90% of them take place on the Gekko.

better than nothing

Attached: eurekagogurt.png (627x495, 202K)

Official is always better, and can have more content before and after what most doujin would show.

I remember there being a few that good enough.

>official
it would make sense if this was that kind of series, but Eureka Seven simply isn't that. You'd have more luck getting drawfags to make stuff and have commissions made

Attached: ya.png (461x448, 316K)

Realistically I could never have expected something too explicit, especially in the original. But a sequel could have included something if they wanted to. They certainly haven't had any problems changing the kind of series the actual sequels were.

Attached: cfe169bcf39dc44978bfbbe1da897dd9.jpg (1637x1166, 320K)

well, it's a Bones series and one with incredibly little fanservice to boot. It's the last series I'd expect to have anything like that

Have not seen a one.

what

I wouldn't a dead one. If it's living, it's game on.

nobody ever said anything about a dead one, of course. An artificial crazy one is up for grabs as well

And not enough good chances to use them.

I would. The real question is why has BONES attempted to retroactively ruin her show with their sequels?

Attached: 1430756742315.jpg (1920x1200, 607K)

It's what happens with shows that are close to being 15 years old. They had a handful of doujins back when it was airing and get the odd one here and there. Nowadays, it's a small amount of fairly mediocre fanart, which is unfortunate, but we're getting more than we used back at the beginning of the decade.

Bones gotta Bones. It's the closest thing they have to a flagship franchise.

They don't like that people liked the happy ending.

you son of a bitch

Attached: 1522093907869.jpg (640x480, 34K)

I don't understand. How can a series so good have a sequel so shit? It's like they took everything that made the first series good and did the exact opposite for the sequel. How do you fuck up this hard

Attached: You sicken me.jpg (540x184, 41K)

there's various answers as on to how they fucked it up, but it really has to do with the various ideas Bones and any of the writers/directors had even with the original series. Eureka Seven was sort of a happy accident, whereas AO was something with potential that went awry because of the original director bailing after a few episodes (note how the quality went down the shitter after the first few episodes), also focusing far too much on atypical "monster of the week" plots rather than a clear, but more overwrought story much like the original series with a clear endgame. AO in general, had no proper direction because the people behind it clearly had no clue on what to do with it.

Attached: 1548207821137.gif (747x420, 1.59M)

Movie 2 subs when?

Karma. Ask yourself, what if the sequels were never made, and the first 50 episodes were all we got? The universe would be unbalanced; we'd hit the limit of questions.

Attached: 1528783113888.gif (704x528, 2.08M)

see you're gonna be waiting for a bit much like with the first one (unless you know russian, in which there's a sub out)

It is likely a rare accident of design by committe resulting in a catstrophic success where the first season was so good but the now angry creators wrestled back control for the second season on the success of the first and hated the actually good decisions and make catrasrophically horrible sequels. This resulted in an audience backlash to the point were the sequels don't really exist as cannon in the minds of most first season viewers.

>never get good Eureka 7 again
>never get Darker than Black Prequel
Bones, why?

Honestly, for all the speculation everyone has, I can't bring myself to believe the story of "angry writers getting back at the people who wanted a happy ending." It just sounds too outlandish and mean-spirited, considering the other ending is so prominent in other versions of the story (see: the manga, New Order, the light novel). From a business standpoint, it makes zero sense whatsoever to make intentionally bad material, and in general, it only adds to the idea that Bones had and still has no clue what to do with a series that at best needed a small-scale epilogue, preferably a manga to tidy things up rather than five different movies and a sequel.

Attached: 1548215180666.jpg (1280x720, 77K)

god fucking dammit anemone's cunny must have been so fucking tight

Drama for arts sake. Look at Valverave or to an American extent, Star Wars as interpreted by das Maus.

I mean, at its very core, Eureka Seven is quite dramatic, albeit a lot more subtly, which is one thing AO missed the point of. I hate to use this shitpost, but it's very sincerely a case of SOUL/SOULESS. You got a series where people had several ideas for it and came to the best possible compromise that satisfied everyone - and a sequel where there were far too many cooks and no proper quality control.

Yes, what a shame.
I have no idea what you're talking about user, but if I did the answer would be that yes I can and will.

You can't ignore the MILF ayy forever user

This is a blessed thread, because Eureka is a pretty blessed Cinnamon roll.

Attached: Man Made Coral Reefs (1).png (572x800, 388K)

and every Cinnamon roll needs glaze to go on it

Attached: This is an awakened coral reef.png (623x891, 393K)

Renton probably already gave her plenty of that. Although I like to believe Eureka's the kind of person who gets progressively more dominate. I feel like she'd eventually really get into Mommydom.

sounds based to me

From "A-Ah, are you sure about this?" to "Don't worry, just let me do all the work." Now that's what I call character development

Attached: Awakened Coral Reef (45).png (937x946, 451K)

for an added bonus, yandere Eureka

Attached: crazy eureka.jpg (1048x1600, 323K)

Didn't she come from the Russian lab too like the short-lived girls? You know the joy division

Yeah, she did. I always liked to believe that Anemone has a criminally short life-span because of her genetic fuckery. And having a kid with Dominic just ends up shortening it even further.

Attached: 516c73e46f6fb94f3aa242082afb911c.jpg (576x898, 216K)

I think she had a far longer lifespan since she was technically a success, but also drugs probably shortened it quite heavy considering.

I imagine she could still realistically outlive a lot of people considering what she is.

I think it'd make for a better story if she had like...I 'unno, 50 to 60 years? It'd give her a reason to really cherish her time with Dominic, and her daughter/son.

Eureka and Renton have all the time in the world to fight, make up, kiss, spend time together, raise the kids, do what they want to do. But Anemone? She absolutely has to cherish and appreciate every moment with the people she cares about.

Attached: Stop it.jpg (500x580, 58K)

speaking of which, wouldn't Eureka/Renton have an unusually long lifespan, considering the Corallian fuckery that took place for Renton to even enter the cluster?

Attached: jam autist.jpg (900x835, 339K)

You could also work the opposite, that like Eureka/Renton she has a long lifespan, not as long as theirs, but long, and because Dominic and even her kids/grandkids may die before her, that its worth it to cherish the time you have with them, its more heartbreaking outliving all of that, and would potentially give Anemone even more time to reflect and realize her misgivings more than she already had.

Either way works really, but maybe I'm just too dark.
Pretty positive they do, Eureka does for sure at least.

Possibly? I think it'd fit the dynamic for Anemone to have a shorter lifespan than Eureka, since y'know parallels.

Either way would be pretty fucking dramatic, and I do like the angle really. Still ends with Anemone cherishing every single moment she has with the people she loves, and that's really what I need in my life.

Attached: Mad Flower (7).png (700x600, 58K)

In general, I'd figure this to be the case since even as a test subject, Anemone is far more rooted to humanity; whereas Renton breaks past that barrier to ultimately achieve the endgame, it was an absolute necessity and it makes sense that would mean forsaking a part of his humanity.

I haven't seen any of the material aside from the original show, but from what I gather
>aren't even born in the same generation in Pocketful of Rainbows
>do they even show up in AO?
>Dominic is an AI in the recent movie
What's up with this? Just another way in which Bones continues to shit all over the show?
