Watch out for the arc where it's just gooks talking shit about nips for 6 straight chapters

A fuck ton of characters

Starts off amazingly but gets kinda boring as the story progresses

Fun to dumb

Great opening arc, shit follow through, very bloated cast of mostly irrelevant characters in the grand scheme of things.

Please tell me this is real

really bad art until s2 starts

Brandon Sanderson level universe building...

but this kind of ended up being a negative, IMHO

----

SIU had this entire universe planned, called the T.U.S, with multiple stories series, and ToG was just ONE of them....

...and just like how in sanderson's books, characters jump from one story series to another, the same thing was planned for TOG

but unlike *writing*... drawing is fucking hard physically, not to mention time consuming... and even after hiring like two assistants, SIU is having hand/wrist issues.

What this means that we are unlikely to actually get a glimpse at the wider world.

----

While the first season was compact, since a lot of things were left for the wider T.U.S world...

in second season, SIU had to a make a rambling mess to drag thing back in universe, since he had to make the bitter realisation he will never be able to make the other series (definitely not in any reasonable timescope or scale as ToG), and will have tell everything in ToG.

----

we arein the third season now, and SIU seems to have a new plan, not sure where it leads, but a lot of hype was related to the over all TUS, which are probably retconned. (you can read it's wiki, if you like spoilers)

Anyhoo, for season one, expect an amazing story, his art was wonky then, but expect the anime to take designs from the recent episodes.

It and Noblesse have both been optioned (by as yet unknown anime production house), but that doesn't necessarily mean it will actually be made....

Still this opens a pathway.

What the fuck is TUS?

I heard Noblesse ended this year. I kinda stopped reading halfway when his were-wolf buddy showed up. Did it have a good conclusion?

The Talze Uzer Story. You can google for it, but not much was made public about it. I'm not sure how much there really is to it at all, it feels like a malleable draft of a universe in which SIU can integrate other stories rather than some grand scheme.

Part 1 is great. Part 2 gets stale by the Workshop Battle arc and never recovers.

Read Kubera instead

>Read Kubera instead
Kubera is much of a mess as ToG is. Except it feels more like a shoujo.

Behold the one true Manhwa.

Attached: Manhwa-Solo-Leveling.jpg (921x1244, 298K)

Came to post this. Wasn,t going to recommend Kyubera (though it is better than ToG) though. read Annarasumanara

Tower of God = One Piece
Noblesse = Bleach
Kubera = Naruto

Prove me wrong.

Just wait for the anime adaptation, bro.

Read Hellper as its one of the few Korean webtoons to not shit the bed

What are the studios that could accept to anime them? Is there truly a chance?

as much as i like kubera, i'd need to see how curry will conclude all the shit she put there before recommend it to anyone
i start to think she's not joking when she say kubera will have 10 seasons

>*protagonist fucked*
>P:"AAAAHHHHH"
>*antagonist fucked*
>A:"this is not even my final form"
>A:"AAAAAHHHHHH"
>P:"AAAAAAHHHHHHHH"
>*protagonist win"
nah, noblesse is obviously dragon ball

Well, they actually pulled the Bankai! move some of the times.

>spoiler
Didn't know what to expect when I started reading, but it turned out pretty alright

>Read Kubera instead
Nah read 4-Cut Hero instead.

but at least bankai have more visual aesthetic than exploding punch or laser beam

Part 1: cool world, nice world buildin, overall a good story
Part 2: stale story, powercreep at the end, a lot of power up for the mc that makes the allredy irrelevant secodarie characters more irrelevant, making the overly extensive cast much more worthless, not only that, they keep adding new characters that get power creeped pretty much in their introduction
Also a los of trainkng arcs or arcs that only introduce more power ups for the mc or new irrelevant characters
Part 3: not reading it

Im reading peerless dad right now and that one is pretty good
Dunno if it is manwha tho

Part 1 is good, part 2 dragged on for too long that I don't even know what's going on anymore.

Listen to this guy and read Peerless Dad, though depending on where that goes based on the latest chapters, it might turn bad.

Tried that. Peerless dad is alright. I love the daughter.

OP protagonist is kinda boring. Dude get's too strong too fast.

It was amazing but S2 is a huge let down. Any strategy, skill or subtlety is GONE. It reminds me a bit of Promised Neverland where if you reread the first arc and the current arc, they seem like two completely different series, and the latter stuff is decidedly worse.

Is DICE still good?

Not a webtoon, but I still miss pic related.

Best manhwa along with HCLW.

Interesting beginning degenerating into generic shounen beamspam battles with an unlikeable mary sue protagonist. It's like a manual on how a promising manga can go wrong.

What the fuck is the point of Rak in Part 3?

He literally does fucking nothing but serve as exposition on whether Bam is winning or not.

Part 3 never.

The art is great but it's kinda boring seeing MC slaughter every enemy with ease while the side characters are pretty much just there to be like
>woah MC you're so amazing :O

I wish Gosu wasn't dead.

>muh Rachel

>muh revenge

Who?

Should i read ToG if i only want to fap to Androssi?

Disappointment

A fuck ton of characters who never die**
These. After the Workshop Battle it goes fucking down hill. If your still on the fence about continuing when they start talking about a train, abort completely.

Yes. She is best girl, after all.

bunch of info dump that immediately irrelevant once the arc ended

my friend recommend it, what am i in for?

Why do people care about deaths so much?
One Piece has almost 1000 chapters and yet only something like 15 named characters have died, with maybe 5 of those being relevant.
SIU has said he doesn't like killing characters because he can't use draw/use them anymore.

A long, poorly paced story with little variation and mc asspulls every single time.

You can choose this or MC gets destroyed every battle, but then pulls out HIDDEN POWER.

There are a ton of characters that won't get plot relevance or probably appear in a background shot in One Piece. In ToG people will show up like Mad Dog and apparently be somewhat relevant in the arc and will continue to show up like their presence matters when it doesn't. Same for the "Bam faction" of characters. The idea of using them to SIU is apparently showing up for 2 panels and not much else

>Noblesse
Dropped years ago, did the children MC was caring ever become vampire?

>Why do people care about deaths so much?
SIU puts people in too many situations where minor reality warpers, people who can level continents, or just your average mountain buster go up against people who are vastly under prepared for that kind of combatant. Yet nobody manages to die to these supremely superior fighters who are intent on killing them.

Imagine if every chapter of one piece ended with Magellan, Kaidou, Akainu, Black Beard, and Big Mom showing up to throw hands with the Strawhats at the same time while working together and they always managed to get away.

>Part two was a mess
Teacher was the most interesting thing in part 1 never appears, He got his chi/chakra equivalent destroyed and become useless again

He put that bitch in her place long ago. Last time they met he was close to killing her.

Attached: 110.jpg (700x1008, 75K)

Kun put in her place long ago, as well.

Because he introduced like 50 characters every couple of chapters. And nobody dies

No

Rachel is the true hero of this manga. People who shit on her have no taste

>really bad art
Honestly while S1's art is more simplistic, it has alot more soul and identity compared to the current art with bad backgrounds and wonky proportions.

Becuase the story keeps puting the stakes higher but not letting things happend, its bait, you get bored of it when its done too much

There is a limit to how much you can say a character is going to die and then back off

The first season was made entirely by SIU, while the rest were drawn by him but colored by assistants, that's why there is a notable difference.

post more peerless dad
i would make a thread about it, but it would get little to no replies
a shame really

DICE was never good.

So-so. I think it has issues with the pacing, but I never feel it going bad.

You don't wanna know.

A wild ride.

>who never die
But a lot of them have died, though.

Dissapointment and regret.

Read it for the FUCK JAPS and FUCK AMERICA arcs and then drop it.

Part 1 is pretty good
Part 2 gets boring fast
Part 3 is ok so far.

Hell yeah Hellper is so good

>Part 2
Part 2 is way too long. It should have been finished way earlier, and divided like in 2 or 3 parts. The Train Arc should have been its own part, for example.

Yes.

Attached: 01_52.jpg (690x808, 304K)

No she is almost a side character. Only read this to fap to that queer Koon or that thing that only says turtle.

As you probably know. He was slowly laying out the world of TSU in his blog posts on naver, and they had some really cool tie-ins to TOG but he purged his whole blog site and all those posts are gone forever. Though there are summaries here and there if you look

tfw it's been foreshadowed that one of the tower's founders was an alligator that looks like the current alligator and we still don't know anything except the founder had a son called "the ancient" who was killed off by jahad for whatever reason

at least we know the elder and evan are the descendants of that ancient now

fun but you should take notes of the characters to not forget about them, there is so much of them and their designs don't stand that much

or visit the wiki every time a character reappers
>who the fuck was this guy?
if you lik One Piece you will likely like it

Attached: 50f.png (1240x1118, 832K)

It's a combination of things.

The first ingredient is the weakest, and hilariously enough, it's what Currygom, the author, wants the story to be. It's a tragic romance in the soap opera shojo vein, but the romance in the series is dreary and mostly one note. Honestly, if anyone reading the series is shipping anything, it's based more on crack and fanon than canon materials.

The second ingredient is the mystery. This is actually very well done, and if you're a careful reader, you can begin piecing together the various things going on. If possible, consider a fan forum, because it's a lot of entertainment coming up with theories based on the hints sprinkled throughout.

The third ingredient is the world building. It's loosely based on Hindu mythology, although it's also a vast fictional universe in itself with certain RPG elements that might actually tie into the true nature of the setting, namely, that it's some sort of game between the gods who created everything. Careful though, because things get borderline grimdark.

If you're willing to deal with slow pacing for much of the story and an annoying tendency for characters to not fucking communicate with each other, then you should be able to enjoy the many positive elements of the series.

I dunno about that. Naruto was only good in its first part and hit and miss through Part 2 before shitting the bed entirely. Kubera starts off slow, gets good by the middle of Season 1, has a bit of a hiccup in the later stages of Season 2, then regains its footing relatively early into Season 3. Plus, the characters aren't retards and the author isn't a robot pretending she understands how to write intimate relationships. She's more of an idiot savant who doesn't know how to write the engaging romance that is her goal yet managed to create an engrossing narrative built around a cosmic mystery.

What's Headon's deal, anyway?

But I want.

I dropped this after Baam vs Urek. Is there any interesting battle later on?

Damn, 1 hour per post, fitting for gook chicken scratch shit i guess

Bastard is the best webtoon

4cut hero is never getting the latest chapters leaked online and i'm never going to pay for it...

The battles just become more beam spam, sadly. If you want to focus more on the implications of the battles, like someone unleashing more power and being able to put a dent into someone who should be nigh invincible, then it's alright. However, there are some neat battles that technically arent just straight up beatdowns. They're vastly outnumbered by those that are, however. Baam just keeps getting stronger though, so if you're there for that kind of escalation it's nice too.
