Light novels are cool but what's killing the franchise is things being too damn slow.
Like in today's episode you can feel that they are deliberately slowing things up and added repetative lines in it.

It's really sad considering how much of a huge fanbase the naruto franchise yet they show no respect whatsoever to the fans even though they kept watching, filler after filler. The show either has to go seasonal with OVAs for adapting the LNs or just make the manga bi-weekly if not weekly.

Character development I guess, a few arcs are actually quite alright but if you're looking for interesting then read the manga because it's amazing. Too bad the show will probably get cancelled before it ever gets animated.

I was really tempted to drop it after kagura arc but I just forced my way through because I just love Naruto,then came the mujina bandit arc which was utter trash,I still kept watching until chunin exams which was pretty good but still was war arc tier until the tag team against momoshiki which was good. Then they started shoving that fat cunt against my screen and I just dropped it,didn't bother to touch the manga after delta fight. I know the village is getting attacked but it just doesn't matter to me for some reason. Maybe because I don't care for any characters in the new gen. Kishi really should have either written Boruto or let it end the way he wanted to.

It happens, sometimes you just lose interest in stuff. I personally like how they dropped the boring side characters from the anime and instead focus on characters such as naruto or sasuke and a very few from the current gen since they're all pretty interesting to me.

New Naruto and Sasuke aren't the same as they were before,it's like they are different characters and isn't enough for me to care. Same with other characters that I loved like Shikamaru,Hinata,Lee,Guy,Gaara all reduced to crap. Boruto is a disgrace for the original cast.
