Fucking Zeke showed more of an emotional connection with an already dead character he never even spoke to than Jean and Mikasa have in 10 years of serialization.
They could have grown closer during the timeskip to show how Mikasa went from violent edgelord to moralfag but she spent most of the timeskip with Eren and Armong instead. I've done these calculations before.
Assuming these are normal horses, you arrive at about an 80 mile radius for Wall Maria, and a 65 mile radius for Wall Rose.
If you assume that the Colossal Titan's are roughly proportional to human, you can conservatively assume about a 60 foot width for each of them in the walls.
This calculates to roughly 110,000 titans in the walls (if you assume Wall Sina is the same proportion smaller as Wall Rose is from Wall Maria)
But we know the horses they are using are not "normal" rather they are super-horses, specially bred to gallop long distances. Pic related. If you take these numbers, you can assume the walls are much bigger. If those horses were really galloping the entire way, you can say Wall Maria is over 1,400 miles. In which case there would be nearly 2 million titans in the walls.
But 1,400 miles is simply too big. That's taller than America, there's no way it will fit on an island the size of Madagascar. The largest you can realistically assume the walls to be is about 300 miles in diameter. If you make that assumption, you can say there are about 200,000 colossal titans in the walls.
That's an absolute immense number of titans, the population of a small city. It wouldn't completely destroy the earth overnight, but over a period of months and years it would easily. There's no way to stop them. Perhaps you could bring down a few, perhaps even a few hundred. But there's no way you'll kill them all

I have actually tried once with Google Maps to try to fit it into germany, it is actually impossible in all of europe to fit a circle that huge, it only starts to work once you go eastward to poland.

Here is my assumption on where New Eldia is geography-wise. Of course everything around it gets submerged but in terms of mountain-ranges, architecture and general landscape it is the only area that actually fits. And espacially the alps look like nothing else on the world.

Not at all. We have some tiny shots from Armin and the diplomacy arc but that's it. Nothing on what the characters actually did behind the scenes (one railway building scene is all). Hell we do not even have a full explanation for how that whole spying thing happened
