I'd really like an arc in which Sodachi randomly meets Kaiki while she was away from Araragi's town (maybe while she was having to deal with her drunk father). Dude, Crab get's like zero screentime, trashed after Mayoi in bake, an episode in nise, some talk with hanekawa and kaiki in the whole second season and completely out of final season, literally sodachi/raragi sisters tier.

And? I still think she takes up too much. Rather, she is given screentime in an attempt to keep her relevant but she just isn't and it feels like she's leeching off of better characters. The biggest issue is how she shows up at the end of the arc to be "the place for Araragi to return home to", as it takes away from the themes and impact of the arc and shifts attention to her as though she matters in the slightest.

It's bizarre that the series has gone on so long but we've never ever seen these two characters interact on screen, along with Kagenui.

The anime treats her better honestly. She got loads of screentime in Bake, every other character got loads cut out to make it seem like Bake was mainly about her when it was a near even split between her and Hanekawa and also Kanbaru not that far behind them in terms of focus.
More recently there was Sodachi Rendezvous which cut out Tsukihi's scenes and Yotsugi's scene to fit in a date montage.

Everything Hanekawa 'figured out' was stuff Koyomi therefore Ougi knew everything too, which explains her behavior in that arc (keeping in mind what her character is in relation to Koyomi) and Sodachi already knew but weren't admitting for various reasons
The bit about her staying briefly at the Araragi household as a kid was explained (not entirely convincingly imo but it's there) in the LNs but this bit wasn't included in the anime, Koyomi's parents often temporarily held troubled kids at their home and to Koyomi (and Karen & Tsukihi), Sodachi just seemed like another one of those kids and not someone who particularly stood out to them, hence Koyomi not recognising her when they met years later.

Out of all the girls that he could date publicly and without controversy she's indisputably the best choice.

According to someone who bothered to time the appearances of all characters she had more screentime than both sisters and sodachi together. Even removing bake she is around both sisters together.
