Why don’t more non-yuri shows have yuri side couples? It never hurts to add a little bit of canon purest form of love.
Why don’t more non-yuri shows have yuri side couples? It never hurts to add a little bit of canon purest form of love
Because japan are asian conservative aminals. They need to label everything otherwise they not go do heaven suckin budda and amaterasu
Most non-yuri shows don't have couples in general.
fuck off s/u/bhuman retard
Go suck dicks subhuman dick loving mongrel
You got the most impure example OP.
This couple is devious.
Because most people don't care about faggotry and faggotry is comparable to incest. Here let me help you:
" Why don’t more non-incestuous shows have incest side couples? It never hurts to add a little bit of canon purest form of love."
There we go OP, this is why people don't like faggotry in their anime weirdo.
what a fucking couple to make this point with
Delightfully devious!
You could have posted a better show
Season three never.
>Slave doesn't need to wear underwear
I see this a lot in many anime, game and doujin. Can someone tell me its origin?
Because it makes insecure people rage.

What the fuck is up with the examples in this thread?
Thanks for posting, ragers.
>>Posts Horizon
Yes, and?
Horizon and Quaiser were both pretty good for about the same reasons, but also pretty meh for completely separate reasons. To dunk on one while posting the other is retarded.
>Yuri is used to refer to lesbian love
>Yuri is also a possible name
Boggles my mind to no end, imagine introducing your child, "hello name is x and this is my daughter, her name is lesbian"
Why would you settle for a side couple, OP?
Why not a main?
It means "lily" which is a common name in many cultures, only subhuman otaku use it to refer to 2D lesbos, and they don't reproduce anyway
>Why don’t more shows have SM side couples?
beats me
Daily reminder that the purest form of love only exists so that alpha BBMs, Obese old men, Homeless guys, animals, insects and tentacle monsters can break and destroy it.
Yuri translates as Lily. The reason the term is used is because lilies were the flower that appeared during said scenes. Shoujo Ai is the correct term.
Incorrect.
The first association of lillies with lesbian love in Japan was in the magazine Barazoku, which was a magazine mainly read by gay men. Barazoku means Rose Tribe, and the editor began using the term Yurizoku, or lily tribe, as part of a column of letters from mostly lesbian readers of the magazine. This was back in the late 70's. Other magazines began using the term "Yuri" in association with lesbians, and it basically stuck.
Yuri content is never called shoujo-ai in Japan; shoujo-ai just means that you love little girls (i.e. a lolicon); it's usually just called Yuri or Girls Love/GL. The term "shoujo-ai" basically sprouted up as an over-translation of GL that english publishers and fans originally used to differentiate non-explicit yuri works whereas the Yuri label was used for porn, but in recent years Yuri has become a much wider label for lesbian-themed works and shoujo-ai has been mostly dropped from the western anime fandom.
Right but I'm applying the Western understanding of a word that doesn't apply to the Japanese understanding. But I did not know it had been phased out.
All of the aforementioned couples aside, Psycho-Pass do have a lesbian side couple too.
The first time I say a shoujo-ai tag I had to take a moment, especially once I realized what they'd applied it to.
Westards were wrong the first time (the primary meaning of "shoujo-ai" is essentially synonymous with "lolicon") and also wrong the second time (it can be and is used to mean "yuri" as well)
Shoujo-ai is not used as a synonym for yuri in Japan, you're thinking of GL. While shoujo-ai is technically a translation of GL, they are used differently in practice. Western anime fandom mostly uses Yuri in my experience.
Yeah, almost as weird as if you called your daughter "Gay" or you were Mr Gaylord. The very idea that that'd happen outside of Japan is preposterous.
Yuri means lily, there are plenty of girls named Lily.
Fuck off, /u/fag.
It's a nice surprise in a series not labelled as yuri.
The inhabitants of the Greek island of Lesbos are called the lesbians. But as many user have already pointed out, you got the etymology backward. Lesbians are named after the island of Lesbos, just like yuri is named after a flower/name, not the other way around.
Because if i wanted to see a yuri couple, i'd watch a yuri anime.
Does Miru Tights count?
They were both main characters, although it's nice they used the special episode to focus on them.
They were the best part of the show though.
Because you risk turning a shitty show into a good one.
What sex position is this?
kanamemo was good for this
I believe it's called 'furniture play' or something like that.
god I wish that were me
More like turning a good one into a shitty one.
