Yes I did. Don't get why anyone else is saying it's shit. I liked the story, the concept was original and there was no filler bullshit, the animation was fun too and they managed to make a villain I actually loved and hated at the same time. Pretty good show, specially if you are watching it for the first time.

I liked the 1st season, then it got overwrought

Yea Forums is no monolith. Different people have different opinions here. I believe Reddit loved it and Tumblr was indifferent to it. MAL seemed to like it overall.
But Yea Forums is made up of indiviuals with individual taste. I think most didn't really like it or didn't care in the first place, while some others seem to love it.

I liked it a lot the first time I watched it. Didn't enjoy it as much on a rewatch.

Maybe the enjoyment came from the constantly rising stakes and once I knew where things are going I was not as engaged.
