Picked up.

He meant that they're sisters. For some reason the subs didn't feel like including the "sisters" part.

Is this show worth watching? I rarely see it talked about and the pics I've seen look disturbingly generic shounen design, like someone recolored Naruto characters.

not by blood

They are related by blood. Kohaku was just disowned from the family for disobeying her Father.

Yea it's pretty good if you're autistic.

Aren't all of them related, technically speaking.

It's not terrible.

it's Fuck Yeah Science mixed with shounen

Say something mean about this ugly gorilla

I just spent the last two days reading the entire manga, and I am very entertained.

My only issue is that along with the Mr Wizard type science lessons is this bizarre shounen battle manga physics mixed with supernatural sci fi pseudoscience. Just jarring.

This makes me wonder if dudes allowed their wives to have sex with each other while they watched in the stone age.

relationships are troublesome and illogical

having yellow hair makes her prettier than 99% of japanese women

Yea it's weird how it tries to be realistic and shit, but theres a guy that punches lions to death.

I was upset about Tsukasa at first, but I understand his purpose now. He's ridiculously stronger than everyone else, so there's no chance of any strategy using "traditional" weapons working. No swords, no arrows, no crossbows, etc. Modern weapons are the only available option.

at least nobody pulls a naruto

or as zero called it... Dr. Stein

This show is really fun.
I missed basic highschool science shit.

the petrification tech itself doesn't make any sense either so they're just gonna pseudoscience it

Technically but there are also other people who have escaped statue status and bred with the tribe to prevent them from becoming truly inbred

>realistic

There is nothing realistic about a 16 year old with 200 IQ points that can literally build nukes out of stone age rocks and other garbage. It's not "science" but "FUCKING SCIENCE BRUH"

all of the things he has done so far are feasible

i mean try them yourself, you can make your own cola at home

Stuff you can buy on the "do it yourself" channel isn't the same as most of the shit he's done that's actually meaningful, like guns in the stone age

what's so hard about guns?

you just need power, wood and metal. that's it.

I strongly doubt the metalworking skills of a stone age tribe (it's literally the STONE AGE) would be enough to smelt the iron necessary to create a primitive arquebus. The story relies very heavily on the idea that because one guy knows how to make something that means everyone else spontaneously has the skills to make his idea into reality when in fact we know that the Romans had primitive factories but couldn't make them work on a huge scale because they lacked the knowhow. Roman bridges and architecture literally couldn't be recreated until the 1700s because their brickworking was so superior and the skills were simply lost with time.

Thorfinn and his two dads is a p. good show. How does the manga compare?

It's pure fun, that's really the best word for it
