I've started slowing down my visits there recently, the board was flooded with Yea Forums and /trash/ tier stuff and newfrens that just read the wiki and tried spamming their forced memes last month, people don't even check their fortune and compliment dubs anymore.Still apparently my most visited site on the net.

I didn't like it even when it was airing, those days and all those posts where one of Yea Forums's darkest points.

I watched this for the first time recently too. It's now one of my favourites.
There were so many moments that hyped me up, especially the whole joining forces with the "enemy" to defeat the real baddie, which I'm a real sucker for. I wish I would have watched it when it was airing so I could see the threads.

The only thing that could improve KLK is if all the girls were futanari, and their raging boners were on full display when transformed.

This series did a really good job of introducing villains that you want to see be defeated by the hero, and then turn them into likeable characters that stand alongside the hero.

One of the few 10/10 shows.

Would you recommend KLK as an introductory anime? Something that's easy to get into, attention grabbing, and palatable enough for fans of action.

It was one of the first, if not the first, series that I watched. Before that I only saw some movies and OVAs.

it's all of those but it's also a show steeped with irrelevant references (Yea Forums had a gigantic google doc cataloging all the references when it aired) and the way the subject matter is presented may be a turn off to people who aren't accustomed to them.
