It'd be interesting if they were in a medieval setting and they were already happily married and we got to learn about old timey family preparation with stuff like preserved butter soup and building cribs and such.

School Days

That's not about pregnant high school girls, once high school girl just gets pregnant near the end as part of a story that's not ABOUT that specifically at all.

Teenage pregnancy is pretty rare in Japan since usually the girl will just get an abortion.

You're pretty much asking about Shojo-tier drama, why don't you search it there? I do enjoy pic related while it's not completely about pregnant JK tho.

Pregnancy is unrelatable and uninteresting to most Japanese.

16 and Pregnant is the best anime, followed up by The Secret Life of an American Teenager

but it is erotic

What was with that whole era of TV and movies? There was such a strange focus on sexualized pregnancy in the mid 2000s and no one has ever explained it to me.

>16 and Pregnant
I can't believe that shit spawned more shit that's still ongoing.

Because a shit ton of teens were getting pregnant in the early 2000's AFAIK so the media just picked up on it. Apparently teen pregnancies dropped a lot after that because a lot of people realized raising a kid when you're 16 fucking sucks and it's better to just use a condom or birth control so that doesn't happen

Why hasent Abe cracked the whip on animators to make a pregnant woman slice of life anime?
This shit literally writes itself.

Why doesn't Abe just impregnate Japanese girls himself?

his balls are literally sterile.

How do you know? Did he try to impregnate you?

hahaha

It's in his wiki.

We just need more happy married families with pregnant women, make it happen Abe-sama.

Is that why he's so obsessed with Japs having more children?

I've written about this.

Generic High school SoL about a new transferring into a new school... but the school is actually a special school for pregnant teens, so EVERY student is actually a mother to be (and maybe some of the teachers as well).

The show won't come out and tell the viewers this right away, though. It'll play the first episode completely straight.

Episode one: the new girl MC introduces herself to the rest of the class, and goes through the usual anime tropes of a first day at school. No one obviously pregnant is shown yet (except maybe the homeroom teacher), but they give a couple hints. like...

-The genki new best friend character talks about how they should be friends because they're all 'nakama' now.

-at lunch, there's a scene where said friend and other characters eat so much that it surprises the MC, but then she thinks "yeah, I need to eat like that, too."

-various background discussion that hints at it; etc etc.

Once school's over, the MC goes home. She's greeted by her parents, who are very obviously worried about how her day went -more than they should be for a usual first-day-at-a-new-school scenario. She waves off their concerns, says that it was fine, and that she wants to take a bath and rest a bit after school.

They show the usual body-obscured shower scenes, and then skip to a close up of her lying on her bed and looking at her phone while reflecting on the days events.

She says the usual stuff about hoping everything goes well for here and wondering about the future, and that she's especially worried about the future "because..."

*camera zooms out to show her lying in her underwear face up on her bed, midsection fully exposed and showing a slight, but undeniable swelling*

"...I'm pregnant."
Roll happy theme song credits.

The show goes on from there, showing the characters as they progress over the course of the school year.

I can only imagine what the student council would be like, and the delinquent girls.
