>the only way to make a 10/10 shonen MC is to make him the villain
Change my mind.
The only way to make a 10/10 shonen MC is to make him the villain
t. teenage edgelord
why do hxh cucks feel the need to make everything about themselves
Implying you Snktards are any better. Both are shit.
at least they contain themselves
Lurk more. I've been seeing them on other threads more and more.
Literally all you need to do is make him not be a faggot. Which those two still are
Both the "hunterchads" and the snkfags posting in series wars are the same Yea Forums crossboarders
eren is about to rape a transdimensional loli, i think that's a pretty non-faggot thing to do
Both are canon non-virgins and Eren's goal is to ensure a future for his race. That's the opposite of faggots.
Gon is definitively not a villain, and his anger against pitou was justified.
Why change your mind when you are correct?
>For his race
No for himself, his race never asked anything
Gin did literally nothing wrong though
Yea Forums generally seems to love Kiyomaro from Gash Bell and Harima from School Rumble despite not being villainous at all
>"""Yea Forums"""
There are probably 3 people total who read those irrelevant series.
that's because cucksxcucks are literally riding the coattails of shonen series because they have nothing coming up for a while LMAOOO
Gon was never in the wrong in this situation. As far as he’s concerned, that women was allies with the ant. He had no reason to be concerned with her wellbeing. We saw what Pitou was capable of, it’s no wonder why he was so alert and on edge. She could have instantly beheaded him
>"They're fags"
>"no dude they have had sex"
lmao, fucking retard, dude
for a good reason maybe, gons motive are realy dumb
>Naruto is a tyrant that throws his weight around to cover up for war criminals
>Goku risked the Earth multiple times to get a good fight, took Freezer out of hell and let him rampage the universe again, and started the rebirth of the evil Saiyan race
>Luffy lets murderers and even the people that enslaved his own friends as long as it suits him, he's also not above letting his henchmen to die for his mistakes, like Jinbe
Aren't most shounen protagonists the villains?
Uh, excuse me, but HxH is a soft seinen
>comparing a character having an autistic meltdown and threatening to kill someone with a man whose willing to genocide all of humanity in order to save his people
one of these things is not like the other
Spooky
why are you comparing these two? You'd be better off comparing gon to goku considering he's basically a goku clone.
you don't understand he had to watch someone who cared about him die, I mean fuck can you even imagine any other shonen protagonist having to go through so much pain and suffering as to watch a single person he cares about die? Holy shit man it's insane
Gon wasn't a villain. He had complex inner conflict within himself, while Eren is just an angry retard in a story full of shit writing with time travel bullshit
It's not a good reason, but still his reason wasn't having to see someone he cared die, his reason was that it was his fault. And his reaction was never framed as being right or even reasonable, despite the fact that Pitou hardly deserved empathy at that point.
Exactly. You'd need to be quite dumb to think that Gon is a villain.
Pretty much. HxH is too complex a story for categories like "hero" and "villain".
He didnt even see him die, he did not even grasp half the situation, so Killua had to knock him out and flee with him.
Not to mention that they did a deus ex machina and just let kite live and gon got saved by even more bs, without consequences.
>But he lost his nen
And togashi did this right as he left the whole fucking continent behind and started following kurapika instead, makes you really feel the impact of it now doesnt it...
If you really want to discuss trauma and people dying, Sasuke had his whole tribe get killed by his brother.
Both characters who are written like shit for trash people and sad shit happened.
>He didnt even see him die
That's the point. Gon going through all grief stages to reach his transformation was so amazingly built since It didn’t occur because plot convenience, it happened because everything builds to that point: Starting with Denial, Gon completely denies Kite dead and in this case, his usual positive attitude plays a significant role in clouding his reasonable judgment.
>And togashi did this right as he left the whole fucking continent behind and started following kurapika instead
On the contrary that's just proof of how good HxH is that it doesn't rely on a main character at all. That's much more realistic and interesting than having a story revolve around a single character, like shonenshit.

You mean like he did right up until the end of CA arc?
Most stories have a main character who you follow because it is that characters story, not because they cant write other characters.
Look at all the people who have published more than one book that is not bound to the same franchise, they have written stories about different characters and their plots.
You huntercucks keep comparing it to shonens because no other demographic has such a low bar for writing. Gon is just another happy go lucky young boy who has some kind of hard punch or ability. He got a little character development during 1 arc and you all praise it like hes Jesus. Most shonen protagonists develop (except fairy tails Natsu, but that is by far the worst piece of shit), look at Naruto.
Start of as a bullied kid who just do pranks, and develop into a teen that takes responsibility. Both characters did grow, and both are pretty mediocre in development if we compare them to anything not written for kids/young teens.
Or your new MC Kurapika, who is just your basic edgy revenge plot. Sure he has some interesting powers, but does he have anything else?
