Plot twist: the Attack Titan has memory manipulation powers. It makes sense that the Founding Titan has the special power of every Titan combined but no other titan has memory manipulation. At first Eren and Zeke were peeking at real memories but then Eren started using his powers to mess up the memories and weave a web of lies so that Zeke would do whatever he wants.
