I still have this reverance for Galko even this far past its airing. It's weird to think of it as one of my favourite manga but I guess that's the entire point isn't it? Not judging books by covers, that someone isn't just their style. Like most people I started watching it for something dumb and lewd, but I left really caring about the characters and wanting to see more of them.
Is a season 2 in the future at all?
I always wanted to get into the manga because the style looked interesting to me.
But I was afraid that it would just rattle through your typical funny sex jokes before fizzling out.
Its been awhile since I read it, but from what I remember I enjoyed it. Mostly because I was attached to the characters. I think you should give it a shot, it'll make you smile by the end hopefully.
I'm more worried about the author not coming up with more material for the manga, I guess he's taking some vacations.

the thing is that the author releases a chapter once every blue moon.
I remember we once got like six months without any new chapters. Combine that with the fact that most of the are at max 4 pages long (but really in average I would say 2 pages long) and it's a manga that you kinda forget until someone mentions it.
Dude is a HUGE westaboo, he's referenced obscure western movies and seem to be way into that old timey western house look with tons of photos hanged up on the wall.
It's also why I think he likes gyarus sonce they are as far removed from the ideal Japanese aesthetic as possible.
I own all the volumes and have read them recently. The focus shifts from sex jokes to the characters fairly quickly. Volume 3 has a focus on a school festival with really a really good arc for Galko and her friends. Volume 4 onward have more of a focus fleshing out the side characters. It's really good, read it.

Author just release chapters whenever he/she feels like it, last volume just came up recently and we already got our fair share of threads about it but nothing new besides that.

Has anything past Ch. 107 been translated? I've seen more recent raws, but I haven't seen any indication that any groups are working on it.
I don't think anyone is doing an scanning for it since it's getting an official release
I'm all for supporting the mangaka through buying the official release and merch and shit, but it sucks that we won't get anything until a full volume is completed.
