I'd like a GOAT or new Kazzy cover but if they're going on with the trend of new fighters for now maybe Jose.

Outside of the menace from his first appearance he's really just presented as a capable rich man who is trying to have a good time and expand his business. He's also trying to root out the body doubles and is troubled at the loss of lives that are going alongside the swapping. So far the most dubious thing he's done was give Edward Wu a spot and that's only because we know Wu was one of the people associated with the Worms.

When Jose get's a real fight I hope he wrecks house. Anyone who is Seki's pupil has to be amazing.

Seki had to intervene Gaoh vs Jose fight after Earth-Crouching Dragon, because he noticed Jose got his switch triggered by that.

I think this doesn't get pointed out enough.

Characters like Rihito, Nezu, Chiba, Adam, Nikaido are kind of brushed off as the bottom tier but they are the bottom tier of the 32 fighters in the Kengan Anihhilation Tournament, the largest and deadliest underground combat arena with fighters in the thousands. Just getting to that point means they are easily one of the top 50 fighters in Kengan, assuming a decent few sleepers who didn't appear like Nikotu or some of the Chief Bodyguards.

Those who made it to that tournement are considered the Legendary Kengan fighters, even the ones who lost in the first round are still the big dogs on campus. I wouldn't mind Nezu appearing as a joke because everyone thinks he is trash since he has the record fastest loss in all of Kengan, only to kick serious teeth in because obviously he is hard as nails he was the champ of Bishamon at 22 and hand-picked to participate in the KAT, which means that his employer must have at least have thought he had a chance against the Fang of Metsudo.

What happened to Koga being a blue mage claiming that he was going to steal the stinger after figuring it out, I thought thats where they were going with this whole "Month training with X guy, then Month training with Y guy." ending up as Chiba-Prime.

Well, nobody's as good as Kaneda at what he does. They can foresee events, but they can't see 30 steps ahead. Making Kouga into an aggregation of the best skills of every character would be making Kouga more effective at using Chiba's gimmick than Chiba is.

I imagine where Chiba can take the entire moveset of a fighter, Kouga will be more cherry picking the best moves of 7-10 other fighters. Similar but not as good as Chiba.
