Started reading recently for the backgrounds, I'll tell you in a few months.

I think Yea Forums is fond of, but sick of explaining it, because we have the same thread every couple months where someone recently read it, and has the exact same questions as the previous guy that read it.

They were okay, not great.

Fantastic for atmosphere. A bit weak in the storytelling department. I almost prefer it that way, though. If the characters had made a strong impression it would have distracted from the rest of it.

Probably the greatest manga I've ever read.

If the characters seemed more human it would ruin what made Blame! so unique. Just look at the trainwreck that was the CGI movie, it treated Killy like a god damn superhero or something.

overall Yea Forums likes it but like anything you'll find a decent group that hate it and claim its pretentious overrated and edgy garbage. I myself am quite fond of it.

On the contrary, I believe it already started to show Nihei's weakness: his story-telling is shit.
He was better in Blame! where nothing was ever spelled out for the reader.

gonna have to disagree, i loved biomega but its pretty obviously inferior to blame!, like said, you can tell that the story was all over the place, nihei should have stuck with the more vague and ambiguous approach
