It may happen that Kidd runs into the disconnected Hawkins and tortures him. I doubt that for a number of reasons. Hawkins is going to run probabilities and gtfo out of Wano or (unlikely) help Luffy. It was revealed that Apoo was always working under Kaido unlike Hawkins who simply joined because he wanted to live and doesn't have as strong a will as Kidd. I could see an end of arc Apoo (fucked up from fighting samurai or someone else) crawling away to a dark corner and Kidd showing up. I doubt Oda would show a straight battle between the two of them, unless he wants Kidd to destroy him in a panel or two.

What are Hawkins' motivation and grudges at this point? He seems kinda bleak to me. It does not seem like he has some important goal, just a guy who lets fate guide him.

That may be the actual case, he seems to have given up on his own goals to simply survive under Kaidou. We don't even see his crew, whereas Drake at least gets Page One and Apoo's musical men are around.

Yes, Walk Point. But when he's knocked out or thrown in the sea, he reverts from Monster Point to Brain Point as a base, not his original form. And hell, the Awakened Zoans don't revert back when they get knocked out either. Being in one form or the other doesn't mean anything for a Zoan, they just choose whichever one they want to be at any given time.

to be fair, when his brain point looks weaker than it would make sense it requires less energy for him to revert to that point. If it is about choosing which form he wants to stay, it make sense for him to stay in brain point as a doctor, but it would make even more sense if he was in his muscle point all the time (of course the meta reason is he has to stay as a mascot character). It could be Chopper fucked up his body with rumble balls, and he may work differently to other zoans.

The method is the same way he used with Kuma. You first feed a devil fruit to a human, but it has to be Zoan. And then you slowly replace all organs and body parts. Ensuring you don't ever kill the subject, until he's just fully machine. Then you just remove pieces one by one and transform the machine into the weapon of choice.

That seems stupid, and would diminish his pure skill as a sniper. He doesn't have zoan birds' eyes, or a bat's sonar or anything. He's just a sniping god.

True but they're all characters that received unique designs. My only issue with Hawkins fading away would be that his powers were never utilized well. Doflamingo is the only guy who really knew how to get the most out of his subordinates. No other villain has orchestrated anything on the scale of Sugar's hobby fruit or Vergo's marine career. He decked out Dressrosa in stones to make Pika more useful. He had major plans for Law's fruit. You have a subordinate with an incredibly broken fruit and Kaido just uses him as a cop on a moose. Reduced him to a Canadian park ranger. Meanwhile this guy could feasibly take any top enemies as his straw dolls and Kaido can just beat on him until they die.
