is shamo worth reading?
Is shamo worth reading?
The first half is great. Then the mangaka and the author sued each other and only the mangaka remained. He messed up the second half of the story.
are there any other gritty dark and serious manga like it?something with no fucking comedy or other shit
Kasane
Can't think of one at the moment. The MC of shamo is one of the most evil MCs I've ever seen.
Berserk haha
Berserk comedy is top tiee. People complaining are fags
He's just like me, intelligent, nihilistic, and with a wicked sense of humor
Bwah not even close that retarded reddit meme doesnt even fit in this instance, but you wouldnt know now would you....
As much as I personally dislike these overly nihilistic stories, I actually thought the prison arc in the beginning was when the series was at it's best despite it being the darkest part of the series arguably. Thought it just got dumber and dumber as it went on after that, well before the point where everyone says it goes bad.
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Shamo
Why did they have a falling out with each other?
I want to have another crack at reading this but i got kind of confused on my first run years ago before i left it, forgot where i was up to and then just dropped it. Are you just supposed to pretend the china arc didn't happen?
First half is pretty good, china is dogshit, last arc had hilarious villains
Skip china and don't read the last chapter
>and don't read the last chapter
it ended on a high note though
Ryo got what he deserved
read up to volume 13 then stop, nothing worth reading after
absolutely not, if you're looking into it because you think it sounds different from normal shounen schlock, and not because you've exhausted the "good" ones and are seeking out the mediocre, do not touch fucking Shamo with a 10 foot pole under any circumstances.
Why do so many people seem to think Shamo is a shonen?
Because it reads just like any other shitty battle shonen.
Absolutely. Pure fight kino, even in the second half.
Yes.
It's soft compared to Shamo.
