I dropped it around episode 10, whenever the months of production delays hit. While I liked the show, it just wasn't hooking me enough to stay interested that long. It wasn't until the movie came out that I gave it another shot. When everything went completely batshit I started appreciating it a lot more, and now there's a sort of fondness for how mundane the start is. Everything slowly gets more and more insane and the plot becomes less relevant. I can't tell if I was always just looking at it the wrong way, or if it was just a natural consequence of the thing being incomplete. You can't appreciate the jarring transformation between the tone of the first and last episode if the last episode isn't out.
