There's a few different types: the "I've seen 9 anime" trash grids, the "I have no opinions and I must fit in" trash grids, the "I want attention" trash grids, and the grids people make that actually reflect their taste. The thing is, the first 3 types tend to stick around whereas the 4th type posts their grid once and disappears.
Explain the two most recently posted grids. They clearly don't belong to either of the 3 groups you've chosen to ridicule.

Nah, but I dropped G Gundam somewhat early because I hated it. I've seen most of AU as well. Only stuff I haven't bothered with are the GBF sequels, some of the CG OVAs, Victory Gundam and of course summary movies, specials etc. Don't even know why I finished shitty shows like Afterwar X, or most older Gundam, really.

It's gonna make more sense to once you've reached the midpoint of the show. That's when various plot-elements are being revealed to the viewer. Or rather, they are confirmed to match what the viewer likely anticipated.

Not necessarily. But often. It's the one that stands out the most, thus many people naturally put their favourite there. It's a sensible thing to do.
The other two panels that stand out (a bit less than the center though) are top-left and top-center.
In my case, my anime 3x3 has my favourite in the center, my manga grid has my favourite in the top-center position.

I wasn't sure what to think with how much information it hands you right off the bat, there's pretty much everything you need to figure out the Befort kids' general circumstances as early as episode 2.

I wasn't much of a fan myself until the second half finally started to connect all the plot strings. Though I am a sucker for anything Nakamura has touched, so that probably doesn't say much. The limited animation is a bit of a bummer, though. Okiura is a fucking faggot for not having worked on it.

is season two worth watching? heard mixed opinions
It's not as good as season 1, but also not as bad as shitposters pretend it is. The main criticism is the animation qulality, compared to season 1, and it is valid, but season 2 had less of a budget and less ideal conditions. And it's not as if season 1 was perfect; it doesn't compare to the manga.
I'd say it's worth watching, if only to see those parts of the manga animated, but you'll have to decide that for yourself.
I know people will say that this is basic taste but i've seen over 400 Anime and these are still the ones i like the most. Don't need to look cool here.

Diverse taste and Slam Dunk is my favourite Manga and K-On my favourite Anime, so i can forgive your for this one show in the bottom row i forgot the name of and i dropped after one episode.
This is my Manga 3x3. Kinda had a hard time making this but i just went with what i had the most personal attachment to. So Manga like Phoenix, Summit of the Gods, Ito or Kakukaku Shikajika didn't make the cut.
Plebian filters, or those anime that immediately skim Art Connoisseurs from ignorant peasants with shallow taste and poor sensitivity.

Something about that screencap is wrong. It feels very wrong. I stared at it for a while and couldn't quite place it, then I just tried to copy the pose with my own hand. And it's actually pretty obvious where the error is: The thumb!
The thumb could never comfortably bend in an angle that would allow the viewer to see it head-on. It would naturally bend upwards instead and be viewable from the side.
What the screencap shows would only be possible if the thumb is broken are forcefully put into that position. Anyway, I tried to redline it.

No. It's about the thumb. It's bent in a nearly 90-degree-angle directly at its root and turned to face the viewer (upper side with the nail fully visible). You can put your thumb in that position, but no matter what the other fingers do, it will feel uncomfortable and thus not be a natural resting pose for it.
I admit that it's not a huge anatomical error, but it did seem strange to me.

No, it's the same for both hands for me. Maybe we have different definitions of "comfortable"? Or maybe you're not turning your thumb towards yourself hard enough? To replicate that pose, it can't even have the sligtest angle when you view your hand going up straight.
Trying without any definitions of comfort: In the end, it does come down to what position it would naturally be in when you try to do a pose like this, and that would be taking the path of least resistance.

more reasonably, everything about that hand gesture is uncomfortable to a certain degree. keeping your index finger perfectly straight like that takes a conscious effort, so one can assume that they aren't following the path of least resistance. the gesture is strained and over exaggerated. being that you admitted to its anatomical possibility, I think this is a very necessary point to address before considering comfort.
I like how the bottom middle, bottom right, middle left and middle right (sort of) tiles all include characters which are facing the center.

It is. And it isn't the natural position for any of the fingers. That can be excused for the index finger more easily though, as stretching it seems to be the main goal of that pose.
The thumb is more critical because its position puts a lot of strain on the abductor/extensor pollicis brevis.
Funnily, looking for that exact scene, I've found another Lupin scene that does the same pose more correctly, but totally fucks up the length and perspective of the index fingers.
I also feel I have to note that those are all very minor issues that would have gone unnoticed in the few seconds they can be seen on-screen. Examining those things in detail on a still is quite unfair towards the artists.
