ITT we post things that frustrate us

>Even thoug the MC pussies out at first he is quickly forced together with his tomboy waifu
>Some old bitch shows up demanding that she can't have a bf because she is the mayor or something
WHY CAN'T MANGAKA JUST WRITE NORMAL RELATIONSHIPS???
Why does every manga/anime stop when they kiss???

Attached: The most frustrating manga in exsistance.png (530x784, 301K)

Don't worry, they have a 3 minutes kiss later. But what do you speak from japanese?
They don't know how to handle their own relationships.

That manga is shit. Read better romance.

Every romance manga is bullshit so why bother?

The fact that there's progression beyond the "oh they got together/they kissed so it's over" bullshit already makes it the better romance.

Got any better suggestions?
I've never seen a romance manga were the couple is actually a couple. When I started reading this one I felt happy for just a second untill I realized that it was just going to be the shit were they aren't allowed to be a couple or something. GOD I FUCKING HATE THIS SHIT!

Because ending as a couple is the reward. How being a couple is handled is never touched upon

Checked.

Because it's known that whenever two characters fuck, interest drops off a cliff. This has happened to many series in the past, viewership implodes once the MC gets the girl. So they always try to avoid this and tease instead, or set up obstacles that prevent it

That is so gay, I fucking hate it.
Nigger what? Any examples with number or data? It's not like people stoped reading Berserk when Guts got laid.

Berserk isn't a romance.

Yeah but can you name a romance manga or anime where this actually the case (with acutal numbers and stats the back it up).

Maybe interest drops because the author doesn't know how to properly write anything after that and quality drops.

Notice how parents in manga a rarely seen being physically intaminte?
This is especially bad in Karakai Jouzu no (Moto) Takagi-san. They're married, have a cute daughter, and have lots of fun together yet THEY DO NOT KISS, HUG, HOLD HANDS OR FUG.
WHY DO NIPS HATE PHYSICAL INTAMCY?!

That ain't even a dubs nigger

Fujiyama-san wa Shishunki does the early romance better.

>Some old bitch shows up demanding that she can't have a bf because she is the mayor or something
Speedreader. The old bitch and school dean/principal and the no relationship thing has been part of manga since the beginning.

A series introducing a 10/10 tomboy love interest is frustrating because it works my dick into a shoot.

Attached: spider-man fake red.jpg (921x1378, 718K)

And as for the "no relationship" part

Attached: chapter 4 page 15, speedreaderkun.png (848x1200, 382K)

lmao nigger I never implied that it wasn't part of the beginning, I implied that it is retarded.

Jokes on you, I read hentai for the plot and completely avoid being strung along with romance manga for eternity.

But Kaguya's most recent volume is selling even better than some of the previous ones even after Shirogane and Kaguya started going out.
I think the problem is with the execution.

For what it's worth it seems like the point of this arc is to basically close off that entire plot.

That one is pretty fucking bad.
Nips aren't prone to showing their affection and I'm okay with that but in that manga's case it's way worse than that.
The author is showing us Nishikata and Takagi as adults but barely anything about their personality or relationship changed. Takagi is still just teasing the guy 24/7 even though in the original story she only does that because she won't show her affection in a more clear way and Nishikata is stil a retard when blushes at even the mere idea of physical contact with Takagi even though they had a fucking daughter.
With each new chapter I'm more and more convinced she just got the guy drunk, had him fuck her without protection and then forced him to take responsibility.

bonnouji and tasogare otome amnesia are my favorites. it's hentai, but kyoushi to seito to is fantastic. tsurezure children follows lots of different couples. some are better than others, some don't have great conclusions, but overall it's great. most of the guys look the same so it can be a bit difficult telling who's who at first

The love rival shit is even worse.
Why does every damn romance story written by a nip needs a fucking love rival? Even with the premise is the MC and his waifu being a happy couple or at the very least being 100% in love with each other, the author will still introduce some stupid bitch to force a love triangle that nobody wants and waste chapters with that bullshit. And to make it worse a bunch of retards on Yea Forums always fall for that shit, start supporting the girl who is obviously going to lose and then get buttmad when (SURPRISE SURPRISE) she loses.

The thing is that it doesn't even seem to be presented as a distinct possibility that she even has a chance of winning. She's a girl with a crush declaring herself to be a love rival but in reality isn't even in the running.

it's just an easy way to add twists and turns and stretch out a narrative

That's part of my issue with this shit.
I'm fine with love rivals when they actually stand a chance, my issue is with this pointless characters that get introduced at a point in the story where it's clear that the MC isn't interested in anyone but the main girl and who serve no purpose other than to cause forced drama and MISUNDERSTANDINGS.

Because Nips are pathetic and can't into relationships

Tsurezure children is basically all good parts of romance mangas hyper compressed into a a manga that has pretty much any type of romace you want.
The issue is when shit couples get screen time and take away from the ones that are actually in a relationship

There are some good relationship manga out there but Yea Forums never discusses them.

-Sekitou Elegy
-Kyou no Yuiko-san
-Fujiyama-san wa Shishunki

There is a few more that I liked but I cant remember then atm.

>Fujiyama-san wa Shishunki
Nothing happens: The Manga.

You could say it's kinda thematic for a manga about teasing to tease the audience with physical intimacy.

What did you expect to happen? It's a SoL about characters in a relationship. The lack of useless drama is what makes it great.

I was expecting some meaningful progress in their relationship or for the story to go somewhere instead of being pretty much the same thing from start to end.
Their interactions were cute at first but after a few chapters of the same shit over and over and over and over again it got quite boring.

>meaningful progress in their relationship
Like what, sex? They're already in a relationship, what progress could they make?

Anything beyond blushing while holding hands for 3 seconds would be enough.

I wish there was a manga about a big guy and a shot girl being cute and akward together and going on dates and stuff.

Ore Monogatari?

Bland self-insert MCs like the one in your example
>b-but he gets less annoying later!
Yet he never stops being bland. It's annoying regardless when almost every single romance series ever seems to have this exact type of MC who goes through the exact same sort of arc every time, who wants the read this exact same shit year after year?
Saotomefags are the worst types of newfags because they insist that the series not being haremshit is something amazing and never done before somehow.

Fujiyama-san is great and I'm liking the comfy slower build of Kimi wa Houkago Insomnia.

Things do happen. It's not like the story takes place over a particularly long time (maybe le than year in story), it's basically just a snapshot of them getting used to their first relationship and acting like awkward kids hence why it ends with the public declaration since they're no longer approaching their relationship in a childish manner.

How is he bland? Has a girlfriend, is confident in his relationship with her, has actually kissed his girlfriend, has a goal that he works towards even if his own physical limitations means it's probably not going to be possible. He's not a no personality self-insert like most "author's waifu" series.

>WHY CAN'T MANGAKA JUST WRITE NORMAL RELATIONSHIPS???
>Mangaka
>Normal relationships
You lost me.

>WHY CAN'T MANGAKA JUST WRITE NORMAL RELATIONSHIPS???
like the fucking manga you post?

Thats all asian parents

The inherent problem with characters being paired together is that there must be something NECESSITATING the connection. You cannot write a story of affection if you don't even know why both characters desire it with everything they have.

Purpose is not needed to be born in this world, but it sure is needed to stay in it.

Is it your first mango? Cause I see a lot of this crap. How else can you make it interesting? Normal relationship will end within a few chapters. We can tell that cause it's stated with a fucking confession. And we want the story to continue.

>WHY CAN'T MANGAKA JUST WRITE NORMAL RELATIONSHIPS???
Because most mangaka don't know how normal relationships work.
>WHY DO NIPS HATE PHYSICAL INTAMCY?!
Autism.

Well there's a super on model doujin that takes care of that

>The old bitch and school dean/principal and the no relationship thing has been part of manga since the beginning.
And it has been inane drivel since the beginning. I really like the manga but if they have to put roadblocks into the main couples way it should at least be reasonably realistic

the best romance manga are the ones that come without shitty forced drama or will they won't they asspulls. Like bonnouji. Even some shonen like horimiya pulled that off with great success

"That Girl is Just Not Cute" is good if you don't want any 'will they, won't they' bullshit. the relationship is established beforehand.

One of the best things about Fujiyama-san is that it doesn't focus exclusively on romance and it intertwines the relationship between the main couple with their daily lives. It's one of the few manga that hit me right in the nostalgia with its depiction of day-to-day school life despite it being the most common subject you can see everywhere. There's just something special about this manga...

>Tsurezure children
It the anime worth watching or should I skip straight to manga?

I loved it

But it isn't that forced. As I said, I've seen a lot of this crap, even in some not related to the romance genre manga. Just accept the fact you're reading Japanese comics about Japanese people, they have their own quirks

>"That Girl is Just Not Cute"
That's a very different meaning from "That Girl is Not Just Cute", you know.

the only bad part is that it's so short and doesn't cover all of the relationships. the manga chapters are also short, so reading bits that were covered in the anime won't take long so I say go for it.

it is completely forced and it doesn't make sense. There are enough examples of manga not only doing perfectly fine without it but being better by just focusing on the story and letting it progress at a natural pace. Just because something happens often doesn't mean its good. By that account we should all be reading generic harem isekai number 569

Have I been reading the title wrong this whole time?

>read manga
>motherfucker introduces a new girl on chapter a hundred and fucking five
Nigger, what are you doing?

One of the things that helps it for me is that the supporting cast is great. They don't really get focus chapters but they're worked in well usually providing a good gag.

>Kyou no Yuiko-san
Thanks user is cute

>Bonnouji
A good series. Futari Ashitamo Sorenarini is also a twenty-something cohabitating couple though they're established beforehand. Chapters are short but their interactions are great. Older cohabitating couple seems to be pretty patrician as a genre.

I'm reading that. I wish she'd have stayed that tomboyish but that's just personal preference I guess.

The interactions between Fujiyama's group discussing girly things reminded me of Girlfriends for some reason.

I thought that was the title since she is not cute, she is cool.

that's not mutually exclusive

I know and she is actually both but the story treats her as if she is the cool one in the relationship doing all the "ikemen" stuff while the boy is the cute one who gets the "waifu" moments.

Its great the only downside is s2 never ever
