I think it was just the emotion youre piling from marathoning the series. Finale was meh but fun if youre not a dirty shipper which if youre, you need to go jump off a bridge.Not gonna lie, I kinda dropped it during the horse battle sports day shit but picked it up again because having more chapter to go read is better than waiting whenever shit gets translated.

I read it few months back. Once it hit the final arc, the school festival contest, the quality had dropped a lot. The ending chapters were the worst none of the main cast had closure, the older sister took a plane trip for no appropriate reason. The whole mindbreak/betrayal scene with the 3 characters was fine - could've been better if the mangaka had drawn/written more chapters about it.

Nice fan fiction but Hiramoto got the boot, Prison School's ending wasn't his personal ventedeta; Young Magazine wanted to introduce seveal new series in its catalogue, Prison School and other long runners weren't as hot with its readership as it used to be, editor-in-chief gave an ultimatum to several authors to end their series so what the new worka he planned could come in.
Sure Prison School's ending was shit but it was due poor planning and sudden warning.
