Tomoko has never been confirmed bi. Sorry user, that's the Mandela effect. You need to re-read the manga. There was only at best small hints that Tomoko is bi-curious but at some level that could be traced to her desire for any meaningful form of social contact (Nemo chapter that every /u/ tard considers as confirming Tomoko's bisexuality is a good example. It also shows how terrible Tomoko was at reading people then). Tomoko being gay is ambiguously and we still need more clarity on whatever she's thinks exactly of Asuka before we can make a clear statement about Tomoko liking girls.
