Was she just made to suffer infinitely across all timelines?

Yeah.

She survives here though.

No she was made to be the tsundere in the Waverbowl

I'm starting to feel bad for her, considering all the blackhole deaths and such. Well I guess she can only die once in this canon. Probably.

Well someone has to be the sucker.

Well, at least in this timeline she didn't burn for all eternity.

>falling for the Animusphere trick that is Olga

Off topic I know, But I kinda miss motivational pictures. sage for derailing, I know not a thing anymore ;_;

Aren't we all

>Born to a prestigious magus family
>Not naturally talented, not compatible with her father's magnum opus
>Forced to sit there in silence as someone from another family is publicly discussed as the next Animusphere successor
>Father dies before the succession can be made official
>All of his work is dumped in your lap
>Realize that your father was conducting horrific human experiments
>Become scared of your own shadow, convinced that his creations will kill you out of a desire for vengeance
>Get betrayed by the one person who was always on your side
>Experience a death that, while instant, destroys your perception of time, making you feel as though it took thousands of years
You should have felt bad for her all this time.

What a loser.

Shut up, Lev.

Man the whole Wodime stuff must have absolutely shattered any self-esteem she may have had left by then. Seeing everyone and even her own father admit someone not even from their family is better suited to succeeding him than she is. I wonder if some of her bitchiness is her covering up an inferiority complex the size of a galaxy.

I use to see them plastered everywhere in my former workplace. Time sure change lots of things

It is. And I think her bitchiness is also a facade she had to sustain to at least look like a half-decent leader. We saw glimpses of her other self and she seemed like a lonely and kind girl. That is my opinion but I'm waifuing her pretty hard so take it with a grain of salt.

I prefer her as a hag but every Olga is great Olga.

The way Olga treated other people is the biggest reason why people don't like/care for her at all. Well, her having a bitchy personality is not surprised at all since she is from a aristocratic Lord family (and also due to her inferiority complex too i think) but it still made her unlikeable and kind of overshadowed her situation, especially when we have Kirsch who doesn't have that typical magus personality and treats other people nicely despite coming from an old lineage family.
Also because she couldn't do anything by herself and other characters (Roman, Da Vinci, Gordolf) did a better job than her i guess. There's a discussion about Olga vs Gordolf on demonition after LB1 and nips already prefer Gordolf over Olga at that point.

It's shown in everything that Olga is a very kind tsuntsun that never got to dere.

>that never got to dere.
she's pretty dere if you select the right options.
it's just she's kinda already dead at that point and no one realizes it.

"First time?"

>The way Olga treated other people
I guess you are talking about that time when Olga lashed out at Guda? I understand that some people may hold a grudge but realistically speaking she had no other choice.
Some literally who comes there, has no pedigree and dares to take a nap during her speech. Of course she kicked Guda out, if she pretended to not see or played it for laughs everyone would lose that minimum of respect they had for her. She is the definition of unfortunate.

>I guess you are talking about that time when Olga lashed out at Guda?
Nope, IMO her reaction to Guda in that part is completely understandable. I was talking about other staff in Chaldea (except Lev obviously).

especially condescending it was an orientation for a job of saving humanity falling asleep during that is kind of asinine I mean I know it wasn't Guda's fault but Olga didn't

you mean kicking roman out? I mean he did have a lazy attitude and that does sometimes encourages others to slack off as well plus why was the medic needed int the control room anyway?

meant considering

Everyone viewed her as just someone to keep the seat warm for Wodime, she had to be the way she was in order to command the bare minimum amount of respect needed to keep the place running.

Not just Roman but Chaldea staff as a whole. It was shown in a FGO manga. Also for Roman, if i remember correctly he already knew about Guda due to his Clairvoyance and was planning to wait for Guda in his/her room (this is from Arthur trial quest or something else?) so him getting kicked out by Olga is okay.

are the manga's even canon ?

I want to support and protect Olga.

Nasu said on his blog that he gave the mangaka some new stuff (like Olga's POV during Singularity F and how Guda became a master of Chaldea) so yes.

God there is nothing I hate more than when the story can't stick to one fucking medium and obviously I am not counting adaptation I mean adding new canon content in other mediums

Like is the upcoming Babylon anime going to override the game's story?
Also what did Olga do in the FGO manga that was oh so terrible

She was a bitch to people who saw her as a placeholder. That's it.

and I asked what did she actually do what was this bitchiness and of course she would be crankier towards such people

In case it wasn't clear, I'm not the guy who dislikes her and I'm dismissing his claims.

oh sorry I misunderstood

>God there is nothing I hate more than when the story can't stick to one fucking medium and obviously I am not counting adaptation I mean adding new canon content in other mediums
then how do you tolerate Fate at all given that it bounced around mediums constantly?

I said story not franchise retard

Rin's VA stated that the anime is going to be very different from the game. Nasu is supervising the changes, but he did write and helped out with Last Encore and look how that turned out.

The "preview" episode was pretty convoluted so I guess thats Nasu influence.

I know that I was asking which will be canon the anime or the game?

To be fair the Last Encore book they released reads pretty well and the story is miles better because of it. I think that a good part of Last Encore being what it is lies in Shaft's bad current state and them being unable to put the story into anime form.

Babylonia probably won't get fucked up hard like Last Encore since LE was originally written in novel format. After they decided to animate it, Sakurai helped Nasu to write the anime script. People say LE scriptbook is much better than the anime one from what i saw btw.

Usually people will go with the anime one rather than the game since Nasu always changes/gives more info for the anime. For example in First Order, Lev said the Animusphere's lunacy was the reason why Olga had to die like this (you can rewatch that scene) but in the game he didn't say that. First Order was released in Dec 2016, and they have been working on part 2 before that so what Lev said in First Order is also a hint/foreshadowing.
