Medaka Box. Twice, or even 3 times depending on your tastes.
imagine reading this past chapter 10
Eh, he was a good guy from the beginning.
Big fucking tsundere with a soft spot for kids.
Also Sam the Man with the Master Plan from Ajin
Was going to post this, guess I was slow.
Krilin TMNT
>Ikki
>Based
>His power is literally the ability to do asspulls
>asspulls
>Saint Seiya
what's the issue
>introduce character as the main villain
>they become the most based character in the series while still being the main villain
Boom, baby.
The main quartet is nothing more than the usual
>good guy is losing
>power of FRIENDSHIP AND LOVE
>win
which is a trope a bunch of other battle shounens do regularly too
Ikki somehow manages to make every other asspull reasonable compared to the BS he does
>Always appears out of thin air at the perfect moment, most often than not completely skipping roadblocks for no reason
>Gets sent to hell/other dimensions/disintegrated/mind controlled/whatever
>Every opponent goes HOW?
>Bcuz
>Garou
>villain
someone didn't read the story
Rape Cop was honestly the best thing about this manga.
>introduce villain in shonen manga
>he hits all the standard shonen tropes better than the MC
the only good villain are Toga and Dabi
Kira did nothing wrong
>Rape Cop
japs are stealing american culture
only want to save his baby sister
block your loli path
Cosmos is not power of friendship, it's power of believing in Athena. Ikki skips the Athena part and gets buffed by the love for his little brother, that's why he is based
no Kaiba?
>Ssj3
Is this real?
Villains are often based
>his little brother
little sister you mean
Fucking Yujiro isnt even a villain. He´s just a force of nature.
so glasses = evil confirmed
My theory is this guy was slowly taking over the King in the 5 year timeskip at the end of the first part, which is why Japan isn't 100% dead 20 years later.
the last arc convinced me that Aizen was the good guy all along
Didn't see what was wrong with the spirit king for him to rebel
he was bored like Light Yagami
>Beard
>villain
Are we reading the same manga?
>Entered the current arc as a monster that actively hates everything about the MC and his carnigger kind
>Stands as the complete opposite of everything the MC and by extension the entire manga's themes as a whole up until his introduction stands for
>Is so fucking redpilled that the entire manga's themes are starting to show signs of siding with him more than the MC
I haven't caught up in the past couple of months last chapter I remember was the Full Moon Festival but holy shit he's based
Gensai in no way was framed as a villain. Anyone under the electric company was a villain, Worm fags were villains, Setsuna would be a villain. Gensai was just some bearded drunk on the ship who really hated steel.
he's not presented as a villain per se, but he's ohma's biggest obstacle
Dunno where you stopped reading but they outright confirm that around chapter 70-something. He assimilated the Japan King after piercing its core and fought off all the other Kings at the end of Part 1.
Everyone was fucking crooked m8. The spirit king was just a potato paperweight to hold shit together, the royal guard were all a bunch of useless fucks, Yamamoto was an incompetent fool (he knew about the Quincy menace but failed to prepare and deal with it properly). Aizen did nothing wrong, he was unreasonably strong and had two choices, either keep rolling with that stale, inefficient system or go carve his own path.
He fucked up, obviously, but still, his reasons for rebelling were valid.
Him being a villain is still debatable. He's an antagonist, absolutely, but all he's been doing is trying to circumvent a coming apocalypse through extreme means.
You should have posted Wazukyan
That series was utter garbage with the sole exception of this singular character. He went from generic asshole to more interesting than most events of the story.
Yeah. He carried the entire group and was more useful than the MC for like 80% of the story.
This is what happens when the character is charismatic. Dude is literally a mixture of every aspects that makes a "mad evil scientist" escept for being based as fuck
Of all of the characters who actually seemed like villains, you chose Beard? Not Kanoh Agito or Julius Reinholdt?
>fucked the Cat's eyes
>married Miki
the character design looks cool, where's it's from?
Made in Abyss
He outright took control of the king type and managed to stop the other king types from destroying japan, new villain wants to ressurrect him to kill the monsters on japan and everwhere elsehe succeeds but one version of him sides with the daughter of the MC after he is exposed to his memories and is now set to save everyone from the villain
Oh, the site I was using stopped translations during the part where they were raiding MC's Japanese castle, didn't realize there were more.
He is the waifufag everyone aspires to be
Damn nearly everyone in that manga is based as fuck, the "morally" dubious monster scientist turned out to be ready to die for humanity to have a chance and is actually incredibly loyal and trustworthy
Yeah. I don't get why they kept trying to frame the scientist as some kind of monster. PE teacher was understandable since he was pretty unhinged and willing to kill people that got in his way, but scientist was actually trying to save the world.
Mario man is the Bess thing about ajin by far
He's not Ohmas biggest obstacle until he stomps Fang. Which is what, 15 chapters before the manga ends?
>fucked the Cat's eyes
?
Its because he came off pretty antagonistic about their friend but that was because he knew how truly fucked humanity was in case of all out war but at least once the MC and his friends knew the actual truth they were on his side, I really love how we start hating Sensei but by the end of the first part we are actually hooting for him
I will never get the time back I wasted on that trash
It's just funny how Sensei kept escalating shit all for his own selfishness and delusions but still ends up being the biggest damn hero in the entire story. It's hard not to root for him.
Still a villain, still overwhelmingly based.
>Not a single time hes involved in the story where hes not outclassing everyone in doing cool shit
How does he do it?
Singlehandedly saved medaka's manga and her also her anime
What's his name?
Half the characters from Holyland
Kanki
I can't believe nobody posted Elfen Lied yet.
>pic related
Wait, Ikki was a villain?
Wesker?
When Ikki first hit the scene he was absolutely a villain. Humiliated everyone, sicced the dark saints on everyone, and made off with the gold cloth. Only being defeated by the power of friendship and I think a silver saint? It's been a while since I've read Saint Seiya.
Bando you idjit.
Phoenix bruh
>"""""""villain"""""""
huh?
series?
born to be a vilain
>turns into second MC
>not a gary stu like main MC
why did they have to make Takumi such a boring character after a few seasons
This asshole right here.
he was just too IQ for them
Wazu wasn't introduced as a villain, he was just suspicious to readers. Besides he's no more "evil" than Bondrewd, everything he did was for survival
>Yafya
>Based
nah fuck him. I would go with Melon or the Shishigumi
Agreed.
> Hot student council president likes MC to the point that she’ll risk her life for him.
> MC literally is ignoring her for a childhood who clearly chose the other guy than him.
I’m starting to get sick these kind of MCs
En is more of an antagonist rather than a villain. But he's fucking based - just protecting the interests of his "family".
>him being a villain is debatable
wtf my man, he makes bags out of little girls that love him to death. You can barely find a bigger villain around
Mein neger.
Too bad Kingdom has gotten bogged down in shounen tier power level battles.
Yeah, but he's doing it because he knows the world, or at least anything in and around the abyss, is about to get fucked and studying the deeper layers of the abyss might be the only way to avoid getting fucked. A few dozen orphan kids from foreign countries are seen a necessary sacrifice
i was always interested in this character ever since i seen him in jstars victory vs. i guess it's time to read the manga.
Surprised that nobody posted Lordgenome yet.
He wasn't the most based character in the series. He's a hell of a top contender though.
>he knows the world, or at least anything in and around the abyss, is about to get fucked
Source for this, please? Did I miss it in the manga?
I would rather post Viral.
Someone post Kaiba what the fuck.
Kaiba
HE makes a statement about how he's preparing the world for the next 2000 years and we know that 2000 years is the same intervals for when these praying skulls are dated. Also related to the birthday sicknesses as we learn the forcefields of the abyss are leaking to the surface and killing people in Orth, but if you leave the island you can recover.
Basically, Bondrewd in his research was finding a way to curb the symptoms of the curse and his plan would be to usher in a means of survival for the masses given his statements. He had other research objectives alongside this like giving himself a narehate body as well.
Best boi
>New season never
>Kumagawa spin off never
>Novel translation never
It's made pretty clear that the Abyss operates in 2000 year cycles, (as seen by the skeletons and ruins all being about 2000,4000,6000,etc years old and increasing as you go down) So it seems that every 2000 years for some reason, people on the surface start dying of the birthday death disease and eventually the surface layer is likely pulled into the abyss and becomes the new first layer. Bondrewd, Ozen and probably the other white whistles know this, so he talks about "seeing the dawn" he is talking about surviving the apocalypse.
based Mashiba
>uses the word redpilled unironically
Kill yourself
What he does is undeniably some of the evilest, most twisted shit ever. Whether he himself is twisted and evil as a person, or more accurately a conscious entity, is highly debatable.
Thanks, now I feel like a brainlet for binging it and still missing the details.
I have no doubt that the original bondrewd was just as twisted as his steadily degrading copies. Dude was willing to kill himself in what can only be an incredibly painful process all for his own ambition and subsequently all his copies are equally as willing to die for the sake of progress. And the rumors about the fate of those that went after him at least show that he's always had a dubious reputation, even Ozen for all her bluster is just an old cranky hermit in most people's eyes.
what is this from? looks based
Natch
>gets hit with a literal big bang
>"just as planned"
Lazengann is the most based mech in the show. I fucking said it.
Kumagawa
Could the 5th take Yujiro in a fight?
joker reference
Kouya ni Kemono Doukokosu
hahaha fuck you too user
who?
too bad a handful of appearances in the last ten years
This guy gives me a moumental hard on
fucking based
Yafya is a cunt obssesed with best grandaddy Gosha
So far Melon is the only right answer
Who is this? Seen screenshots of him and might make me pick up this manga
nah
He was based and his death was too harsh for his crimes. He deserved a better ending
Kumagawa from Medaka box
Manga is a big "eh" with lots of up and down, he's constantly a "up" and almost the only thing that makes the manga readable.
Yea Forums talks about worse series than it all the time
Excellent taste.
Abidani carried Gamble Fish so fucking hard.
First chapter of the novel just got translated actually.
polaristranslations.tumblr.com
Nah Medaka Box is a great read throughout, I love Nisio Isin humor and writing. Don't go into this series expecting him to be the ONLY good part like some faggots say.
he was really the sole reason to read this garbage
>he made president obama shoot himself in the head
>the surface layer is likely pulled into the abyss and becomes the new first layer
That is amazing. I kind of liked the setting but couldn't get much into the manga, so I dropped it, but that's pretty interesting
FUCK Boomers
FUCK Senku
and FUCK society
now is a good time to pick it up again, it's only been like 6 months since the last chapter
Are translations still stalled on this?
You find out more in the Light Novels. Basically everyone in the world used to be Immortal, and there was no such thing as death. Then Hollows somehow came into existence (Baraggan and Ulqiorra are hollows from this time period) and began eating people. The Soul King appeared and killed hollows; every grain of sand in Hueco Mundo is actually a dead hollow killed by the Soul King and presumably other Quincies.
Anyway, the ancestors to the Five Noble Clans got together and began plotting shit. They sealed the Soul King and used him as a lychpin to split the world into three, the mortal world, Hueco Mundo, and Soul Society. The Soul King went along with this because he also possessed Ywach's future seeing power.
The clans still feared the Soul King, and despite him willingness to be the lynchpin, they feared he would eventually betray them. So they cut out all his organs and cut off his limbs, and sealed him in crystal.
Basically the clans then put themselves on top, to where they can even ignore orders from the Central 46.
Magical Girl Apocalypse/Mahou Shoujo of the End
>Portal opens up over Japan one day
>Deformed "magical girls" appear from it and start blowing the fuck out of humanity
>whoever they kill turn into zombies
It's as silly as it sounds and honestly goes off the rails in a ridiculous way later, but the cop is one of the only reasons to keep reading it just because of how entertaining he is. He's kind of like Adachi except instead of throwing a tantrum and blaming everyone else for why he's a failure he gets shit done.
>takes advantage of the world going to shit to abuse his power as a cop
>obsessed with school girls
>completely ok with being a scumbag as long as it means he survives
>wants to survive so much that he does crazy ass shit to save himself that usually ends up saving the rest of the group as well anyway
>more useful than the entire group since he's the only one who knows how to use a gun/weapons and again really doesn't want to fucking die
Thing is, despite saving the group multiple times, they keep it clear that he's a fucking scumbag who isn't going out of his way to save them half the time. The only one in the group he really cares about is the chick with huge tits and at one point they get sent back in time and the first thing he does is track her down and try to molest her when she was a loli.
Speedreader here
What about hell.
Did we ever get an explanation for it?
I think it's caught up, the manga was just on hiatus forever. It just finished up that poacher/cop story. I wish releases were more frequent though because Michitaka is mega-based.
Is this fully scanned?
I like how he was school janitor-tier villain at first but then writer got a hard-on on him.
Yes.
This complain is baseless on a serie who runs on asspulls
Never read the LNs but I was pretty next-level deepreading the series and, yeah, it was pretty clear that basically Soul Society shitheads were in charge of splitting the different realms. This is why Hueco Mundo is actually sustaining to spirits even though Soul Society is where they 'go' when they die. The original captains and shit just came in like a fucking gang and set up camp in SS and are propping the heirarchy because it allows them power.
once again the mc protecting the status quo
>naruto
>ichigo
who else should be added to the list? yoh? or would it be hao?
melon is actively the worst part of this manga
Ichigo's not protecting the status quo, though--he's fighting against people who would hurt those he cares about.
He only gets wrapped up in fighting Aizen because Aizen shows up to kill everyone in his hometown to make the Soul Key.
And, again, he ends up fighting the Quincy invasion because they threaten the lives of his friends.
The whole fucking point is that both Urahara and Aizen knew Ichigo would be capable of rising to the throne of the Soul King. Aizen was hoping that Ichigo would be the one to destroy the Lynchpin and usher in a new era whereas Urahara was trying to convince Ichigo to work towards less dramatic change.
I didn't read read bleach but what im saying isnt that their goal was protecting the status quo but that nothing changed from when the story began except for the character itself
>Nothing changed
Besides several years passing, characters dying/being killed, etc., I guess not. MC shuts down two separate attempts at outside claims to godhood because the life he has with his friends is what he prefers.
There's the implication that Ichigo's actions helped endear humanity to an increasingly detached Soul Society, so 'Heaven' giving a little more of a shit about 'Earth' is nice--it's a minor change but considering where shit could have led, it's got lasting implications.
I always assumed heaven was beyond soul society and SS was basically purgatory I mean there were people being A"born" there and kids aging, the hell.
Dissappointed no one posted best villian
There is no real Heaven, even though there's a Hell.
Basically.
All of reality was just one plane of existence.
People with power forced it into the Mortal Plane (Earth), Soul Society (Heaven), and Heuco Mundo (Shithole Soul Mexico) as the primary planes of existence. Hell also exists as a prison for wicked souls and there's a 'Heavenly Realm/Palace' that exists solely for the sake of locking the Soul King away there as a lynchpin of the various fragmented realities.
With everything split up, souls could actually 'die' in one realm and would be reborn in the next, which is why Quincies are such a huge fucking problem because they delete souls entirely.
He's based but still behind Juza, Han, Toki and Rei. Maybe about on par with Fudoh though it's all really splitting hairs I guess.
Sengoku Youko was wholesome as fuck
Based and Bonpilled. He is a man of science who thinks towards the future and can do no wrong.
GOAT battle tournament arc
That doesn't make any sense because Aizen thought he was superior to Ichigo. He went mad when he figured out Ichigo was on another realm of power while they were fighting. Fuck you and your fanfic.
Oh yeah this was pretty wild, he was introduced as minor villain but became the protagonist.
Didn't he turn evi lagain? I remember him turning into a monster at the end and then splattering glasses girl after she turned into a badass anti-monster agent and another one of the survivors from early on
It's pretty flawed dude. Kumagawa isn't the only good parts but it's definitely not great the whole read. It's a pretty poor story with a lot of good ideas.
He says multiple times he's disappointed in Ichigo even after literally plotting out Ichigo's entire life from birth to the point where Ichigo meets him again at Hueco Mundo to find out Aizen planned everything
It's more fun than great. I'll settle on that.
Yet you didn't dispute anything I said.
As Ichigo said Aizen was looking for an equal in rivalry, not someone who was going to stomp all over his ass
Hey, I'm not
Anyway.
When did he go mad at Ichigo being on another realm of power? Literally every moment was there to pamper Ichigo into being his successor, but he failed to properly impart his philosophy. If anything, he was upset because
1. Ichigo would leverage his power to help Soul Society rather than against them and
2. Ichigo would THROW AWAY all that Aizen worked for by using the Final Getsuga.
What the fuck is your fanfic where Aizen somehow isn't invested in Ichigo despite literally orchestrating him being the most powerful entity in the universe?
Cell in DBZ
He is chaotic neutral. A pirate.
>bleach
Gtfo with your fanfic
Literally the last moments when Aizen's being defeated, he's railing against Urahara's logic because he wants Ichigo to challenge the status quo whereas Urahara recognizes that destruction of the Soul King would result in the destruction of the universe. Both men had a hand on being responsible for Ichigo's power.
Keep reading on the first level, pleb.
You are not going to make me search for the goddamn panel
Prove yourself, cuck.
Thanks user I love you
Literally carrying the manga
what show?
>literal incel
Accelerator from Index.
Still weird that Vegeta managed to just completely defeat Toppo so easily. I think everyone saw it coming, but still funny that he just got up and decided to defeat him.
I looked forward to his fights more than the ones with anyone else
