gonna watch Cyber City Oedo 808 next it looks like the style i like. i tried watching the newer stuff like hunterxhunter and attack on titan, but i like the sci fi stuff and older drawing styles more. are there any newer things like those?

Go watch the Original Macross, as well as the Do You Remember Love film. Did you happen to get interested in plus/angel cop because of Ichiro Itano's animation or his badass approach to writing?

desu i just saw the image from Angel Cop posted on social media. it looked like the style i like so i reverse image searched it. I did also like Gundam tho and wikipedia says he worked on that. cool ill check those out

For the blackout scene in Plus he flew all the way to the us to get in a fighter jet and black out from excessive G's just so he could finish his storyboards.

Also I guess for newer Sci-Fi you might want to check out Psycho Pass it's basically just a love letter to PKD, but it's not terrible despite being derivative. S2 is awful, but maybe S3 will be ok once it starts airing here soon.
