Feels like it's been years. Also I feel like it's been done before, or at least would be surprised if it hasn't. But apart from the actual "Escape Game" thing itself, I mean. Escape games are largely just puzzle rooms, which are mainstay of adventure videogames and the like. Saw was like, a super edgy escape game come to think of it. I feel like there must be at least one manga or anime that's done it.
