Shamiko reads some manga

It was afternoon after school when Shamiko was stumbling home in the almost-dark evening. She yawned, then stopped in surprise, her foot kicking something hard on the ground.

"What's this?"

Laying on the ground near the trash collection point was a brand new manga. Shamiko picked it up and wiped the dirt off.

"'Looking Up To Magical Girls'..." she said outloud as she read the back cover. "Magical Girls vs the Forces of Evil? Maybe this has some tips for my battle against Momo..." Shamiko looked around to see if anyone had dropped it, and seeing noone, slid the book into her bag.

Shamiko had spent the last few days studying the book carefully. It was full of dangerous new techniques to try, and although the magical girls in the story often escaped, the evil character often came close to victory. It even seemed like the evil girl suffered from the same crisis of faith Shamiko did sometimes! As well as some other more... complex... emotions.

Regardless, Momo was sure to be taken aback by these techniques, and Shamiko would earn her blood fair and square! Nervously, she gripped her homemade wand and peeked around the corner of the building. She was due to meet Momo at their training ground soon, but she'd arrived an hour early to scope it out and get in a prime position.

She had a plan! Her illustrious Ancestor had even agreed it was foolproof! Well, at least it was better than her usual plan of threatening the magical girl then being immediately outwitted and outgunned. But this time she'd be the one outwitting and, hopefully, outgunning her rival. Shamiko checked the contents of her bag again, making sure everything was ready. Her ancestor statue was even resting snuggly inside, although Lilith was being suspiciously quiet for a change. She got the manga out again, now filled with extensive notes and bookmarks for important sections.

"Hey Shamiko."

"Bogah!"

Momo had snuck up on her while she was engrossed in the book again. Shamiko jumped back and pointed her wand at her.

"Momo!" She waved it threateningly. "Today is the day I defeat you and release the seal on the Dark Clan!"

The magical girl sighed. She thought they'd already moved past this.

"Alright," she shrugged, "you get the first hit, but if it's not good enough then our training session will be twice as hard. Deal?"

Shamiko gulped. This had better work.

"D-Deal." She took a deep breath and focused on her emotions. The fear of disappointing her family, of losing to Momo, and more importantly, being subjected to an even more intense workout, welled up within her.

"C-Crisis Management!" A purple light enveloped the demon girl as her clothes changed to her battle form. "You change too, Momo. I want this to be a real fight!"

Momo eyed her warily. "Alright then." Shamiko barely had time to blink before Momo was standing before her in her magical girl outfit, the scent of peaches gently wafting on the breeze. "Go for it."

Shamiko looked around for a suitable flower, channelled her power, then smacked it with her wand. Nothing happened. Shamiko blushed at Momo while the girl waited patiently. The demon girl opened up her bag and looked inside. "Why isn't it doing anything?!"

"Give it a moment Shamiko! Trust me, it'll work!" Lilith responded.

Momo loomed behind her, slowly moving closer. "I don't have a moment!" She poured out the entire contents of her bag and started smacking them with her wand in terror. The pile, consisting of a scarf, several plain dolls, and some candles, sat quiet as Shamiko's eyes welled up with tears.

Suddenly the ground rumbled beneath the girls. The flower and the pile started glowing softly, then brightly. Momo pulled out her wand as her face suddenly changed, getting serious. "Shamiko, what's hap-"

A vine shot out from the flowerbed and grasped Momo's wand arm. She struggled for a moment but more and more vines shot out, binding her arms and legs behind her.

"Shamiko, let me go!"

The demon girl was stunned silent for a minute. Was that really all it took?

"I... I won!"

A smug grin filled lit up her face. "I did it! I'm going to save the Dark Clan!"

"S-Shamiko!" Momo struggled against the vines. Every time she moved, the slid around her limbs more and more, binding her tighter. She could still breath but her arms were secured firmly behind her back and she hung above the ground, feet dangling in the air.

"If you take my blood I may disappear! You know I'm already weak, a-and..." Momo looked at the ground, "You promised we'd protect the town together."

Shamiko's grin softened. "I-I wasn't really going to steal your blood, Momo... I just wanted you to acknowledge me..."

Momo smiled. "I do, Shamiko. I need you to protect this town with me." Their eyes met and they smiled softly at each other. "Can you let me down now?"

"Well..." The grin returned to the demon girl's face. "Since we're here to train, we may as well test out my new powers, right?"

Momo gulped.

"S-Stick out your butt, please."

"What?"

The vines shifted Momo around, bringing her closer to their mistress and spinning her around.

"Shami-"

WHAP. The demon girl smacked her wand down on her butt, a loud crack sounding out in the evening air.

"Gah! Shamiko!"

Warmth spread through Shamiko's body as she watched Momo writh in pain in the vines. She could feel herself blushing all the way to her ears, and tears welled up in her eyes. Was she dreaming?

WHAP. Another blow. Momo grit her teeth, trying not to cry out. Shamiko's breathing grew heavier and her knees squeezed together. What was this feeling?

WHAP. Even the battle hardened Momo had tears in her eyes now. Was it from the pain or the humiliation? Shamiko was enjoying providing both. She traced her fingers slowly up and down her wand, watching the magical girl squirm in the vines. Her eyes moved along the girl's backside, taking in the slight bulge of her thighs where her stockings bit in, and the bright red marks of her whipping above.

Shamiko reached out, her hand shaking, and touched Momo's red thighs. The girl yelped and kicked, pushing Shamiko backwards. A flash of pink light and the vines were smouldering ash, Momo standing free above the demon girl. She was not happy.

"U-Umm, Momo..." The magical girl slowly advanced, her eyes dark. "You see, I was just, um, testing my powers! I-It was training!" Shamiko shook uncontrollably and crawled backwards. Her hands touched something behind her. Her pile of tools!

"L-Let me just say one thing, Momo!" Her hand grasped the scarf. "Your skin is nice and soft~"

"W-What?!" Momo stopped moving and blushed for a second. A second was all Shamiko needed as she flung the enchanted scarf at Momo's head. It whipped around, covering her eyes, blocking out her senses.

"Wha- Get this off!" The magical girl clawed at the scarf, but it clung too tightly, constantly shifting and slipping through her grasp. "Shamiko! I can't see anything!" Realising the scarf was only blocking her vision and not her airways, she stopped moving and tried to keep her balance. "I-I can't even sense anything! Where are you?"

Shamiko grinned and got up as quietly as possible. Her first instinct was to follow the book and tease the girl by whispering in her ear, but she knew Momo's strength was in close combat. If she did that she'd be beaten in a moment... she needed to be smart about this.

The pile of tools rattled. Of course! Waving her wand, Shamiko willed a doll to move. It grew rapidly, sprouting multiple arms and shuddering to life. "Shhh, quiet now~" The faceless doll moved towards Momo, taking delicate steps to not cause any noise, Shamiko close behind.

When it got within range, she slipped out from behind it, and stepped carefully next to the blind magical girl. She stood on her tip-toes and whispered in her ear: "Got you Momo~"

Momo spun around and swung with her fist.

WHAM. The doll's hand grasped her fist and inch from Shamiko's face. "Wha-"

The doll quickly grabbed her other hand and stretched them up, lifting her into the air. "Sh-Shamiko, this is far enough!"

Shamiko checked her book again. Was it really as simple as tickling her? Thankfully she didn't have to damage her outfit, Momo's costume left her armpits bare. The doll extended one of its hands down and Shamiko stood on it, being lifted up to the dangling girl's side.

Gently reaching out, Shamiko could hardly control her breathing. She didn't understand why she was so excited. At this point she didn't even realise she was drooling, her grin was so wide and her blush searing her face.

Momo squirmed in the doll's grasp, but against its strength and leverage, combined with the lack of vision, she was helpless. Her ether was barely strong enough for the last escape, she wasn't sure if she had another one in her.

Shamiko's fingertips scraped against Momo's armpit, and the girl jolted. With a giggle, Shamiko did it again, watching the girl writhe under her touch. She kept her touch as light as possible, sliding her fingers up and down the jittering skin.

"Are you ok, Momo?" She whispered into her ear, breathing heavily. "Are you enjoying our training?"

The magical girl was on the verge of laughing under the assault, but nothing Shamiko could do would break her. Her facade was too strong. Blowing softly on her skin, tickling both sides at the same time, even letting the Doll's spare hand join in didn't work.

Shamiko didn't mind, though. She was enjoying the soft, velvety touch of her rival's skin. In some moments she paused and just pressed down, enjoying the feeling of soft resistance. She ran her palm along the skin of her armpit to her bicep where the sleeve pinched the skin, and back again. Despite being a battle hardened veteran, Momo's skin was delicately smooth.

"Shamiko!" She gasped through holding back laughter.

"Hmm?" The demon girl grinned at her captive.

Momo swung her legs up and kicked Shamiko backwards again, sending her flying. She tensed her muscles for a moment then ripped herself free from the doll, destroying its head with a punch, before ripping the scarf down the middle and letting it flutter to the ground.

Landing hard, Momo took a moment to breath. Shamiko sat stunned. "B-b-b-"

"That was a good start, Shamiko." Momo flashed a bright pink light, then she was standing there in her workout gear. "But now it's time to workout."

"D-Don't-" Tears welled up in Shamiko's eyes. "Don't think this means you've won!" She stood up to run away, but Momo grabbed her tail and pulled her close. Her eyes were dark, and she loomed over the girl.

"And don't you forget your promise."

Some hours later, Shamiko was passed out on the ground in a pool of sweat. Even Momo was worn out. Soft whimpers were coming from the demon girl's mouth as she lay there in a daze, unaware of the situation around her.

Making sure she wasn't watching, Momo crept over to her bag and pulled out the book. From her own bag she retrieved the second volume of 'Looking Up To Magical Girls' and slipped it into Shamiko's bag next to the first.
