Really,the only problem with NH is that too many speedreaders read the manga,Naruto found her "wierd" before the Neji fight,then he slowly starts to acknowledge her through exams. It's a gradual progression that you can see thought the manga. He understand how she suffered and how she try her hardest to change herself and become confident(which is also very apparent across the manga,she have visible character progression into being genki).
She gained her confidence through Naruto,Naruto opened up first to Hinata even before he did with any other character in the series,he didn't bother to put his usual "facade" around her later in chuunin exams right befoer beating Neji(he did this in the paper test of exams with Hinata,because he didn't connect with her back then).
I can go on all day why Naruhina makes sense writing wise than NS,which was just another dimension of Sasuke-Naruto rivalry(Sakura understood that in the last movie,because she had the same connection with Ino.)

You might argue that "they fight too" or "they have character growth" but that's full of shit because in both of these cases the girl was ALWAYS in to the MC and that just makes it too bland,

There are a lot of scene like that scattered across the manga that makes a complete storyline when lined up together. I honestly saw no need of a movie,all of it was just a static character arc complimenting each others arcs(Naruto's Maturity and Hinata growing confident)the manga did enough justification.
The only regret I have about Naruhina is that I wish it had more moments before the pain arc after part one, and that the last should have been adapted into a seperate anime arc with some differences in it.
