I just want to take this moment to say that I am very satisfied with the anime adaptation of Dr Stone. Having only read 3 volumes so far I’m impressed how perfectly it’s being adapted 1:1. I don’t think it’s the superior version necessarily, but it definitely is on par and that’s pretty damn impressive when compared to nearly every other anime adaptation of shounen manga.

Dr. Stone is unreconstructed, optimistic scifi. Genuinely proud of humanity's achievements, trafficking in real science, not overly interested in character like a lot of fake scifi.
