3 reasons:
1- A lot of meme worthy quotes and moments, that get over used and run out of any comedic value like every meme that gets popular
2- Members of the community think that their anime is "smarter" or simply superior thant te rest, and they take pride on that, which makes turns them cocky and blind to the flaws of jojo
3- It has a wide mainstream popularity, that is always accompanied by a sizable amount of fans that just consume media without thinking and lack any kind of critical thinking skills
