Diavolo's motivation and character are amazing. But not being able to kill Bruno in two hits is pretty cringe.
Good taste. Jojo does all important character personas well. I personally favor Kira. It's nice to have a serial killer villain as a change of pace doing it just because he gets off to killing. No need for a backstory or motive.

I know you're meming, but I'd like to point out how good the duality of Death the Kidd and the Kishin was.

I love Diavolo but he's not one of those characters you go "holy shit he's amazing" for. Even though I think he's well written, he's ultimately written just to fill his role, nothing excess that would make him more deep or sympathetic. He gets enough screentime to get the job done

I always preferred Medusa. Not many female villains that are both so competent and ruthless. She spends basically all of her screentime manipulating EVERYONE around her.
That said, I did like the reveal with Asura. Its one of those things you dont necessarily see coming but makes perfect sense in retrospect.

This is one of the most well written antagonists from in an anime.
Always loved these guys. Easily my favorite villain group.

Honestly, I don't give a shit about Diavolo, King Crimson itself is just a god-tier villain. One of the few times a Stand was more important than the user and a better character as well.

This anime went to shit. The fights and plot were good, and a consistent power level hierarchy was set pretty well, but Frank, a mortal, getting a sudden power up strong enough to solo the God of Darkness? Then only one or two episides later, he gets wrecked by the Peace Lords, who one-shot Chin Chin, condemning him to the role of jobber. If it lasted longer, then random characters will probably pull shit like countering Negi's roasts and shit. It ended while it was still good.
That would make sense if it wasn't Diavolo emoting through his stand.
At least we can all agree that Pink Guy and Dade are god-tier level characters

Even before Frank became a Peace Lord, he could travel between dimensions, summon Lords, and resurrect himself.
I personally wish we had seen more of Plastic Pinnochio. He was so eerie and mysterious, it is obvious that he was supposed to have a larger role in the story since his reveal but at the end his arc got due to the series' premature ending.

He's not really intent on killing and has a warped sense of right and wrong, but he still rips hero's arm off, beats several other heroes into the hospital including mumen rider who's pure, and worst of all dine and dashes

but yeah it did bug me how his story was seemingly leading up to some kind of lesson or something that made you understand where he was coming from but it kept going and not getting anywhere like a bad dream. either way i wouldnt consider him so much a real villain as much as id consider him a joke villain
He's more of an anti-villain. If a an anti-hero is a hero with less morals, he's a villain with more morals.
I don't consider him a joke though, his character runs really deep in contrast to Saitama.
