For steins:Gate's 10th anniversary we'll be singing Gate of Steiner (the ED of the last episode of S;G0 and the ED for the MWC ending in the VN).I'm not mixing for this one just doing the admin stuff. All the details are in this video: youtu.be/eX-iYf1apm4 , though the deadline is likely to be extended. It's in English, you have no excuse not to join the fun.We also need a guitarist, if that's something you can help out with take a look over this: drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Ghn4pd3I7odbT2e_0Ij0rzGqdt9bsoak?usp=sharing
Tutturu~ I'm about to record the song (or if the deadline extends to Monday/Tuesday I can be sure to not have background sounds, people got here and I'm not sure I can tell them to shut up for 5 fucking minutes), but what program should I use? 1st time doing this so I'm at a loss here.
The deadline will likely be extended so monday/tuesday works. As for programs, audacity is your best bet (free, easy to figure out how to use etc) but anything that wont compress the audio horribly, like vocaroo, should be fine.Good luck with your submission user.
Great. I will send it one of those days then. I just got my mic and got around to practice the song. Haven't singed in years so I lose my breath at times, and need to find a way to sing the last phrase of the chorus, my voice can't reach that high so I'll probably have to go a bit lower instead and see if it works out. I'm not leaving this to luck tho, singing this is the will of Steins Gate.
>the fucking S;G dating sim is getting localized. >Noah still in limbo. This worldline sucks. At least no one will have to use ZakoBot's shitty translation anymore.
Time is~ so sad and fleeting~ Can't be controlled~, like a river~, never stops~ Space is~ emptiness, dark and so cold~ Can you define~ its presence~, does it exist~?
some people say to watch 1-22, then 23b, S;G 0 and only after then watch the final few episodes from the first series. is that what I should do?
Julian Carter
That's how I showed it to my friend and I think it's the better way to watch it since the start of 0 is kind of hard to follow without reading up a bit on it if you watch it in airing order.
Jason Nelson
Just watch the original. 0 drops off in quality very quickly and very obviously.
Christopher Moore
Sort of, but what's better is playing the VN and then playing S;G 0 VN.
D-frag was 11/10 comedy, too bad it didn't make enough profit for next season
Jaxson Collins
I honestly think D-Frag is pretty niche. I mean, I love it as you can tell, but not even elevens care enough for the series IIRC. But at least the manga is still ongoing and just fun as ever.
which? there's several projects mentioned in this thread
Kayden Hall
uh steins gate but i wouldnt mind also doing the psycho pass ed if its still ongoing
Colton Green
meant to replay to you
Jack Ross
Instructions are in the Steins;Gate video, OP's post Yea Forums sings Psycho-Pass is available, yes. There's a full list of available songs as well as instructions for that too in the txt, the google drive link also found in OP's post.
Here's an image version of the tracklist of songs we're covering just in case it's easier to read, but you'll still have to dig through the txt to understand how this works.
>open recording software >sing a song >Send to the right mixer
Lucas Thomas
does the song need to play in the background or audio of my voice only?
James Diaz
If it's all different mixers with different deadlines, how/when does it come together as a full album? It says 2020, but then again it also said deadlines were August. How's it lookin so far?
Just sent my recording of Kyouran Hey Kids. Man, I had to sing in a parking lot just so I wouldn't disturb the neighbors. Our walls are pretty thin. Plus I don't want them to hear my weeb-speak
Brandon Cox
last question, is it tv size version or full length song?
Christopher Morris
>If it's all different mixers with different deadlines, how/when does it come together as a full album? The album is something we're ALL pitching in to slowly build together. Since certain songs are more popular than others, it's pretty normal to let them complete and be pushed out first.
I think it's a worse idea to wait for everyone to complete, I can't even keep tabs on ALL my mixers. Though everyone should be familiar with our usual active ones shilling Yea Forumsss 3.
>It says 2020, but then again it also said deadlines were August. The mission was that one of the tracks could be completed as EARLY as the end of August. Obviously, that link is a little out of date since it is the last day of August (here still, at least).
My overall goal is to see this all completed some time in 2020.
>How's it lookin so far? It's doing okay? Our active mixers have reported a handful of submissions for each track they're doing. I plan on accelerating this by finding out how to appropriately focus getting more attention per track than shilling it as a whole. So far, it's working. Though, I can't sit around and camp on Yea Forums all day. Not everyone appreciates these threads all week or every week, I respect those anons for voicing concerns. I don't plan on normalizing this, it just so happens I taken a really big project that takes up a LOT of time.
I've seen >anons singing in their car >anons singing in the public park >anons driving to the middle of nowhere and then sing >anons purposely waiting for his parents or neighbors to be in sharp distance and start wailing on the mic >anons singing with other anons in the same submission >a dog submission
Sing it loud and proud, user. I had an outtake where my dad barges in the middle of my KonoSuba ED submission and told me I was awful. No, I didn't send THAT one in nor did I save it. I wouldn't dare relive that.
character limit gimmie sec
Eli Phillips
From our team at least, it should be expected by default to be the full song. I specified otherwise when I hosted Yea Forums sings Love is War for Yea Forumspril fools. That even includes God Only Knows.
Jacob White
>a dog submission You can't say that and not post it.
Xavier Edwards
Sorry, man. That's ancient shit from my laptop almost 7 years ago now. I don't even know what happened to my old Yea Forums archive or my laptop.
vocaroo.com/i/s0n1ixbTOvms How about an old one I did back when I was under Jizzy. The spiel in the middle was a American Psycho reference. Jizzy went with Keit Ai because doesn't anyone remember how that took Yea Forums by storm? It was probably for the best.
Friendly reminder to keep sending vocals for TWGOK opening (hopefully we will manage to make a full sized version without it sounding like a circlejerk instead of Yea Forums sings Platinum Dis*cough*
Send all vocals for it to sevilooo2244@gmail,com, youtube.com/watch?v=ky9W4vjWPqQ here's a subtitled instrumental version, As Cee and Keianon was mentioning in all other Yea Forums sing's it makes life much easier if you sing on headphones, but I understand it might be hard to synchronize to instrumental, especially with a difficult song like this one is. I will try to accept as many in background instrumental submissions, but since that will mean I will be unable to even out so each user has a part for themselves, instead of having all vocals slapped into a blender all time.
Most important thing is to DISABLE all and any real time effects on recording, like "reduce echo" "reduce background rumble" etc, found in vocaroo's or realtek settings, it makes you sound like you're underwater.
Would it be a good thing to re-live any Yea Forums sings you've missed because of irl or anything, you name it. And for example organise another one of the classic good stuff like NGE Op. Oreimo Op or Madoka's op1 for example?
Owen Collins
There are some that I wish I'd been in but I don't think it's a good idea to retread old ground, especially since there so many good songs we haven't done yet, though a remaster with the original recordings+new ones could be good or maybe if the original had a small number of participants.
Carson Myers
I wish I had been in all three, and wasn't in any of them, but at the same time, all three shows have other songs we haven't done yet (I think) and it's better to move on in my opinion. You can always make a vocal cover on your own if you really like a particular song and either post it ITT anonymously or attentionwhore on YT if that's your thing.
I really REALLY want to sing Dango Daikazoku and Secret Base 10 years after with Yea Forums, holy fucking shit. The day m(wh)00t decided to ditch this cesspool or Bedfood-senpai has gone out of date was always so unluckily set, that I missed out on all the classic's. I wish TheFuruGuy would record regularly, i mean this youtu.be/etOsbV03MAY?t=27
If he tried he'd make a living out of covering stuff (to English including), being as popular as Johnatan Young if not more. I may sound like a mad fangasming faggot, but I can't make this up. Not to mention Jebus, ronery Yea Forumsnallyblastedyakuzastreamingnoncontentnon, Yea Forums's own Norio "GOD" Wakamoto voice impersonator, or Opera-user (TTGL Yea Forums sing's). I mean if these kind of guys would participate regularly, people would be much more interested in Yea Forums sings in general. And ronery, if you ever read this know that everytime you play yakuza or any other bore instead of doing things like Accel whisper meme. know that Sen-chan and other mermaid waifus NTR's you or get raped in a doujin.
Don't die thread onegai, at least if anyone lurks please keep bumping for exposure, tho it would be nice if user's just posted anything they themselves want to sing, don't get lost among daily waifuwars and template threads and breathe some chemo autism instead. please. The more of anons get to participate the merrier, what I should sing except for the OP I have no idea but ideas are appericiated.
get some body fat on yourself you stick figure of a daughter, no good for daddy that knows " (reasonably)more meat is never a bad thing" Even SERN questions you for this among all other! like here
a-are you no longer sharing sekrit diskord klub links?
Evan Campbell
I'll try but I have a 5 dollar walmart mic.
Carter Perry
I didn't figure you guys actually cared about that stuff. Sure if you want. You know where to hunt it down. People's job are to sing, and as mixers, our job is to make you sound bearable. I got you covered, man.
