Part 5 was when you could tell Araki was bored with the series, had written himself into a corner and wanted to try something new. Plot holes everywhere. Dropped plots. Mary sue characters, it's total garbage.

part 5 was supposed to have multiple different things but Araki was depressed as fuck when writing it and changed his mind a bunch. The big change that everyone knows about is Fugo was supposed to be a traitor/stay loyal to the boss and kill someone in the party

It's gonna be really annoying when part 6 anime finally drops and all the part-shitters suddenly think it's a masterpiece.

Part six is an amazing fucking part. Heavy weather, Bohemian rhapsody and starway to heaven are great and heavy weather genuinely freaked me out.

Some interview literally mentions Polnareff not really intended on being brought back after 3 and that being a last minute decision, as if it wasn't obvious enough already. He had to come up with an extreme cop-out to end the part. VA is overall a huge mess but with some really good concepts. It has some of the best stands and overall setting. Shame Giorno and a few other characters got wasted on such a crappy story. Diavolo could've had some ties to Dio which would play into Giorno's motivations or something, make him an antagonist that has an actual relationship with the protagonist for once, and not some guy ''in hiding'' for the THIRD time in a row, and being the worst iteration of that to boot.
