I'll be mad for years with this shit. While it was obviously no masterpiece, up until the Stagiaire arc it was a very comfy read. Most characters were still relevant, the pace was good, no evil supervillain and Erina wasn't a fucking damsel in distress. Whoever's responsible for the way things turned out should be fired forever.

Well, most "battle shit" ain't about romance either, but they tend to end the MC with their female companions. Also I'm pretty sure the last arc was literally about this shit. Like he didn't just throw shit out there for shit and giggles. It's like he wanted to end them together, but just said fuck it.

No there were always meant to be 3 since they announced it. Just seems like 9 pages of something in the fan book + whatever omake in the final vol now.

Final volume is already going to have more content than usual cause the epilogue chapters were longer so I wouldn’t expect too much in the final volume. In terms of omake content.

There's always the post chapter drawings for each chapter + 1-2 pages + recipes. Any more than that is rare already. Recipes and the post chapter drawings aren't going to go away though.

I mean, it's slightly, and I mean slightly mitigated by the fact that only Hayama got married from the former first years. All the girls are already cakes. Hinako doesn't have a ring on her finger in that epilogue though, and christ, she's 37 at this point.
Then I remember Souma considers Shinomiya his master, so maybe this is him passing on his shitshow of making a girl wait forever.
