A low level laser from friezacorp would be much stronger than a bullet. Even Saiyans aren't considered all that elite among Frieza's men, Vegeta and King Vegeta are the only ones deemed elite class, so not even high class saiyans like Nappa count, and Saiyan Saga Vegeta, who was stronger than his dad as a kid, is only Cui level. The average Saiyan was probably Raditz level so there's probably regular Frieza Corp weapons that can take them out.
