Todoroki and Bakugo are interviewed about resolving the incident but Bakugo’s part is totally cut. There’s only a few days until the end of the semester, it’s the end of December.
Since the Deika City incident some people advocate for heroes, people used to criticize heroes by Can’t-you-see comments how times are changing.
Today’s lesson has Mt Lady as a special guest with Midnight and they practice giving interviews. Todoroki gives a typical naturally oblivious response and shows off his Heaven Piercing Ice Wall move. When asked about what he used against 1-B, he says it’s his father’s move. He comments he can’t compare to him yet.
When asked why they need to show off moves in an interview, My Lady explains the meaning of special moves. Mineta comments he hadn’t been thinking about how he looks on camera until recently. Not just Mt Lady but all the heroes are being pulled by the number 1 hero?
They all answer interviews and Deku is last. He’s asked about when he lost control. He didn’t lose the feeling, it just has a lock on it. He’s over the phase when he can’t use it. He’s figured out how much he’s able to handle, and then shows a small black whip.
It seems they be starting the intern program again soon

I suppose you could say failing to get the license was about personal growth and not actual physically getting stronger, but Shoto really had pretty much taken on his demons at that point and Bakugo still hasn't changed one bit so I'm not sure it was necessary "growth". Yes. It's rare to see a main girl get a chance to go toe to toe with one of the strongest characters in the series. We got see how strong and resourceful she actually was on her own. Especially with a character like Ochako, who in any other battle shounen would be immediately sidelined as just a love interest and a cheerleader and not even get a chance like that.

Yeah, she doesn't condone his behavior in the slightest, which is nice. Even though it being canon is questionable, I also enjoyed how we got to hear Deku's perspective of her in that first light novel.

Those people are idiot shippers though. The important part was that she used it to reflect on herself and figure out that she needed to improve her combat skills. In a series where she could have easily been given the Mina treatment and have her battles be light and unimportant, she got to be treated with the same level of attention as the main guys. I think that's pretty nice.
Really I just want to see them at least become friends. I think they could influence each other well if the dynamic was explored more .
