Round 2. This is where the new system shows. Should be done alright. Read carefully before picking. Figured I should have it say "No change" instead of "No injuries" to avoid confusion.

Well, of course. This is the warm up before the big fight with some faces we ought to know.

probably next match will be A-list

no way José!

Attached: Kengan Omega_c31p16.png (960x1361, 906K)

>Match 1

Might be rough for both. If Rei can hit Seki's windpipe the same way Ohma did he'll take it but otherwise I think Seki might be terrible for him just like Saw was. Seki wins with heavy injuries.

>Match 2

Meguro is fucking dead. Raian wins with light injuries.

>Round 3

Honestly this one's weird, even ignoring Sen's completely fluctuating strength. I honestly feel like either of them could take it. Saw hits like a truck and is super tough, and his headbutt is probably an instant knockout the same way Sen's holds probably would be the other way around. Either one could win with medium-heavy injuries.

>Match 4

Rihito is fucking dead. Razor's Edge is super good but he's ridiculously outclassed in skill, brains and tactics that it's barely even a 1 in a million chance. Gaolang walks out with barely any injuries.

Probably gonna see an A-list match next. The winner probably joins the Gladiator's team too, but that's just a prediction.

Attached: Kengan Omega_c31p17.png (960x1361, 645K)

no dw dumping user people who care about you commenting are assholes i had no problem with it

here it is!
The punchable face only an Agito would oblige!

Attached: Kengan Omega_c31p18.png (960x1361, 1.03M)

6th Fang looks very familiar, like he's based off of someone.
Not sure who though.

Im thinking Wyald from Berserk due to the face.

>Rei vs Seki
I think Rei has this with light injuries. I don't think Seki has the reflexes to catch up to Rei and Rei's speed makes him hit really hard. If he combines his speed with hitting for vitals, he can do this.

>Raian vs Meguro
Just like with Raian vs Robinson, Raian might underestimate Meguro and take a beating at first, but he'll literally go for the kill after going into removal. Raian with moderate injuries.

>Saw Paing vs Sen
Saw Paing is really tough. One of the hardest skeletons in the world and he hits hard, but Sen is really fucking smart. Plus Sen has his holds, which I think are Saw Paing's weakness. Sen with no injuries.

>Rihito vs Gaolang
Eh yeah, fucking rip Rihito. Gaolang with no injuries.

Looks like a chump.

i can't wait for agito to bash his faggot monkey face in

Andre the Giant, but a bit more rought and muscular?

Glad to see more new characters being introduced.
Also, it might have gone unnoticed, but the anime's Season 2 is airing on October 31st. I still doubt they'd be able to reach even the semi-finals, tho.

Attached: Kengan Omega_c31pCredits.png (960x1361, 1.09M)

Can you save your shit after the chapter dump, you only need to wait a few minutes

Agito is going to destroy him for calling his dad a stepping stone.

Attached: Oymiyyu.png (408x713, 301K)

Yes, that's it. His hairstyle is very similar to Andre's, and the shape of the face is pretty close, too.

What do you care, you sperg. Read past it. Usually people only complain when you post full pages inbetween, but now you're crying when someone posts something like that? Get the fuck out of here.

I bet that trenchcoat man is the strongest out of these guys

Yup. First face in the Kengan series that is truly punchable.

Yeah, guy in the back looks way stronger.

>black long sleeve shirt and black sweatpants

Disgusting.

agito will lose to him, calling it

it would be too predictable for agito to win against him, also kengan will be absorbed but nogi has something up his sleeves and seize control

Attached: 1533642941286.png (382x452, 163K)

Monkey face, make a guess of his fighting style.

Yea, it was my first idea. Andre was cool bro tho

My bet is this guy purposefully acts/looks like a huge shitnugget just so it's satisfying when Agito destroys him. The dudes behind him are probably stronger.

>Has a mask
>Tall
>Strong as hell

>Mark myers

He's a parody of michael myers isn't he?

For some reason I keep thinking of some drunken master-type kind of shit.

He's definitely not as big of a chump as he looks. Otherwise, there's no point in Metsudo picking him

I mean, that was kind of obvious, user.

Gee, ya' think?

Even Kanoh had the taste of going with a skintight suit

I can't fucking wait for Agito to make this guy wish he was never born

Attached: Fang Wait.png (674x534, 474K)

Nah man, he's clearly a Jeepers Creepers parody.

Well duh, the moment he takes off that trench coat he will begin to uncontrolably mutate into a Super tyrant.

He reminds me of someone but i cant place him right now

Not the same user but why not wait? It ruins the flow of the dump and it costs you literally nothing to post the poll a few pages later.

Illinois also is where Michael Myers lived, yeah.

>Punchable Face
>People are expecting him to lose to Agito
I wouldn't mind but.. this feels suspiciously like a fake-out scenario.
He dies offscreen doesn't he?

Which one do you hope makes it to the B class anons. I'll lend my energy to motherfucking Mike

I hope those two people behind him are on the team. I really want to see the teams already.

Maxima from KOF

He's probably not even going to win his next fight desu

>the flow of the dump
Not him, but jesus christ user.

>is an underground martial artstists competition
>excepts the rules are standard
what's the point of it being underground? They're just an independent promotion making a name for itself and waiting for that sweet TV deal.

You go from image to image except for the one superfluous post. It's not a major thing in the least but that's beside the point since all the first guy asked was for poll user to wait a few minutes, which also takes literally no effort.

Same. Money's on Mike.

Not really standard. I think they can poke eyes and shit. They can be brutal, as long as you don't kill.

it's not that different from shit people would want to watch on Television if sponsors weren't stupid boomers.

Yes, want, but can't. Which is why they're underground, I guess.

The ringout rule is a dumb rule and should only be applied to wrestling-type tournaments, not this kind of free fight match.

This isn’t like the Kengan Matches, after all. The fight betting is a sideshow there, with the fights mainly being for business and only being held when there’s a contention for something.

The Purgatory fights are done out of entertainment, so I assume they’d operate in pretty much the same manner as real life combat sports.

There are only 3 rules man. This is not MMA where you can't hit people in the back of the head and do vertical mounted elbows

At the very least, the people in the association wouldn’t think he’s a chump at all.

Unless it’s some sort of Xanatos Gambit where Metsudo picked him precisely so that he would betray him and motivate Agito to come back to beat his face in. THE MADMAN. PREDICTING ALL THIS WOULD HAPPEN.

>Rei V Jun
Hardcore mismatch her. Jun is most likely gonna eat a throat punch from Rei straight at the begining or, in the case, where he can turn in into endurance competition, he is still most likely miss a fast one from Rei. Rei with no or light injuries.
>Raian V Meguro
Raian takes it no question, but most likely with moderate injuries. Meguro is both stronger and faster than he looks, plus he is really durable. Raian eats several of face into the floor throws and maybe eye pock someheavy bite, but Meguro is fuckin dead.
>Saw V Sen
Got to go with Saw's victory but some heavy injuries. Sen is stupidly strong for his build, judging by his showing against Bando. Saw is probably gonna try what he did against Rei, lose an arm to Sen's armlock and return the favour with his headbut of doom, which Sen, unlike Rei, is way less likely to negate avoid.
>Rihito V Gaolang
Rihito gets rocked hard. He may be durable, but he is nowhere durable enough to whithstand what Gaolang can throw. Maybe he can get a single razor in, but thats it. Gao wins with no injuries.

Don't judge a fighter by his first appearance design.

That's one of the golden rules of this manga.

Yeah, I feel like the obvious fake out is that he’ll actually be of a comparable level to the other Fangs, but if we went further beyond, he may not even get to face Agito before losing.

Honestly surprising that you think Saw's gonna win, but I see what you're getting at.

This raises the question: What rules will apply for the Kengan Vs Purgatory matches? "No kill" is a given, but the rest? Would be interesting and leaving the door open to upsets if the ring out rule was kept.

What if he's actually the weakest member on his team? That could be a neat twist.

>a dome with 50k people
>"underground" fight
lmao this manga

And this is a regular event, not hosted in some private island like the annihilation tournament.

But no referee stoppage, lol. On the other hand eyepoking biting and breaking fingers is fine.
Also the wording makes it sound like if both end up out-of-boundsthen they both lose.

Finally someone pointed out how deathmatches would attract 1% of pros at best. Who wants to risk career-ending injuries (or worse) for a meager pay?

Hey he didn't sell any PPV, it still counts as underground.

Maybe there are some reason that force it into underground tournament
like there may be a rule that ban fighting tournament

>ring out
Sounds fun, but I really doubt it
Waka, Haruo and Julius would be able to win the whole tournament by just tossing people around.

probably gambling and not paying any taxes. Also not being regulated by other associations

I mean, the entire population of Japan is 126M, after doing a quick lookup. And this is the largest underground arena organization in Japan. Why question that there are 50K people? All that really does is emphasize its prestige and influence in the underground community.

They cut characters, sub-plots and fights just to get to the tournament in part 1. I could see them finishing the whole story in just 12 episodes if they cut out practically the entire rebellion arc.

I didn't know the 6th Fang was Wyald from Berserk.

I want Agito to fuck him up, but desu I'd take someone else doing it too

I mean, obviously, people would fight to avoid that with that rule in mind. Unless they get a good blow in to smack someone out of the fighting area, it’s not going to be an issue. It’s not like Zsoneone like Wakatsuki would be set against “C”-level scrubs in Purgatory, after all. He’d be set against opponents of a perceived similar level who could reasonably compete against him. Guys like Gaolang, Rei, Julius; namely, guys like the top tier fighters from the Kengan Tournament.

I dunno, the obvious subversion is that he's actually strong despite his design and he beats Agito, but I could see Sandwich going for the double subversion where Agito powers through and wins anyway.

Why hasn't Kazzy scouted Jose for Kengan yet? Or Kureishi for that matter?

This is all Joji's masterplan to have Koga reach mushin, isn't it? An altered state of consciousness where he can chain combos of all the techniques he has trained in.
That being said, imagine being this hung-up. Thank god it will be individual matches, or Koga would get crushed. Sad.

PRIDE Final Conflict had 67,450 people in the audience, so some A list figt in Purgatory should not draw this much attention, MMA is big in Japan but nowadays RIZIN does not even get close to the old PRIDE or Pancrase events.

My dad had a stroke and I had to fly over to take care of him. Obviously he's more important than training, but I was looking forward to starting bjj when that happened.

What can I do training wise while I'm here? All I have is a pool, bikes and my own body. Some kind of calisthenics routine plus flexibility and cardio? I have some very slight injuries on my legs and hip but nothing major, just tendinitis type shit.

Im already 23 I need to start leaning NOW if I have any hope of even being cannon fodder mook tier

>managed to build a giant dome with all the logistics it implies
>50k people come in and out every time for a fight
>"underground"
It doesn't matter even if Japan has half the world's population. 50k is a huge number of people to keep a secret. Some regular sports can't pull those numbers and everyone knows about them. Japan's official mma can't pull those numbers.
Kengan fought in warehouses and had 100s of people watching, but it was the very insular top rich people of the country so at least it tried to actually be "underground but big".
The only way purgatory would make sense if it was actually legal and uses the "underground" label for marketing.
I love kengan too, but grow up user.

I think Seki actually has a chance here. If injuries stack up, doesn't that mean the characters "saw" the previous matches too? In that case he knows that Rei is going to go for an immediate rush and can brace himself to take it with less damage. He obvious won't land a blow on Rei straight up but he can turn it into an endurance contest along the lines of pic related. Of course even if he won it'd be with heavy injuries and he probably wouldn't be able to put up much of a fight next round.

Attached: Seki defense.png (1133x1599, 834K)

>Due to some complaints last week, I will stop commenting.
fuck those fuckers. Nobody is forcing them to read your comments and the manga. You put in work and have fun doing it. dont let them take away your moments where at least you smile

>5 and 3
Fuck. I wonder how many chapters it'll take before we have a full team. I want to see them so badly.

Attached: 1503583709907.jpg (475x555, 177K)

Well, I guess even 2Toku looked like a jobber, but c'mon.

Not to speak of Sunglasses and Trenchcoat in the background.

Also Muteba obviously isn't as fast as Rei, but Seki was able to react to an instant eye jab that landed before "begin" was even out of the ref's mouth and make it land nonlethally for what it's worth.

Attached: v8.png (847x1200, 658K)

EXCITEMENT AND ENJOYMENT

Didn't they confirm, that both Metsudo and Kure are sending at least one representative from their curent employees? Kure wanted to get Raian, sure, but they still have Hollis, and he is aperently next best thing. Metsudo still has 4th, 7th, 8th Fangs and splitface guy who refused the title.
And I'm betting for at least one of the following on Purgatory side:
>Saw Ping enters for a chance to fight Gaolang, the way Gao was against Fang
>Setsuna shows up, because Gaoh looks too much like Ohma
>Muteba enters, but throws his match as a favor for Sharktits.

He has a beard afterall.

... you shouldn't even get the manga from here, but the translators' website. Comment as you want, it's meant for discussion and sharing.

youtube.com/watch?v=jUs-ITmi_u4

Kureishi really bulked up.

Attached: z6.png (960x1361, 825K)

Hollis sucks ass. He'll probably job to kure china and Raian will arrive to save the day.

Attached: 1567082098214.png (250x288, 67K)

>Saw Ping enters for a chance to fight Gaolang, the way Gao was against Fang

Nah, Saw Paing can be clingy but he wouldn't risk going against Kengan. He has too much vested interest.

>Muteba enters, but throws his match as a favor for Sharktits.
Now this would be funny.

I'd love if Hollis was a rep since I wanted to see him fight in Asura too since Metsudo seemed to assume he was the top Kure, and seems to at least be the most skilled.
Though on the other hand if he becomes a rep now, I'm afraid that he'll get crushed by Geese to show how strong he is/give us exposition about how he relates to the Kure.

.

Attached: 1567082169956.png (308x438, 100K)

Just once I want a manga where the MC is like that Chad with the women swimming in money, just isn't a jerk about it.

I'm going to saw Jun with heavy injuries, though Rei could still win without getting injured at all

Raian will win, and he'll do so by killing Meguro, but I feel that Raian will take a real bad hit while doing so. Meguro's won't be incapacitated by any other method than straight up killing him, and while Raian will certainly do that, I think he'll screw around for too long and get hit hard before he decides to end it.

I think Saw wins this just because I don't really feel like Sen's got a good way of putting him down quick enough

Rhito probably goes down faster than he did against Kuroki, and without doing any damage to Gaolang to boot.

Seki, Harou and Cosmo are probably a given too but we'll see.

I can't wait for Hells Angel Seki vs Harou

Attached: T15.png (960x1361, 846K)

Then assume underground fighting is even bigger and that all these people came because they want to see (almost-)no holds barred brawling?

Based reaction user

Well I'm making a complaint this week to keep at the comments. That dumb nigger last week got called out by everybody and he can fuck off to mangadex if he wants to just read it

>There's probably even less people who'd agree to fight to the death
Debunking so many fight manga plots right there

..

Attached: 1567082169957.png (304x297, 139K)

More along the line of having sixth Fang betray him, so when eventually Agito will be needed again he got the perfect bait at hand. Metsudo definitely is the guy that is playing 4D Chess.

Hope Metsudo sends Retsudo honestly

You know I'm really hoping the Jose fight is gonna be against the absolutest unit and not Seki.

Attached: Kono_Haruo_(Omega).png (630x900, 342K)

Legit thought this was going to be Raian

I just wanted to drop some numbers. I am pretty fine with the build up and context of purgatory.

>double subversion
so its not subversion

Honestly kengan isn't much better. You'd probably have 2-3 fights at best before you're forced to permanently retire.
If it wasn't for magic healing more than half the fighters in the tournament would be retired.

I could see it, thats for sure. But at the same time i never could say no to another Seki fight.

Attached: 56816154_413542119224301_220252001087437099_n.jpg (1080x1350, 220K)

It is when you subvert the expectations of a subversion by playing it straight.

I'd like him to get a fight so I'm down. I hope Seki gets to fight too though.

Did I sound angry? Because you do, so I find it ironic that you’re telling me to grow up here.

But right now I am angry. Not over this argument, which is stupid and was never an argument from my side as I simply brought up some possible reasoning. I’m angry that I’m talking to a retard like you who gets immediately uppity when someone doesn’t agree with him 100% immediately. Shut the fuck up, idiot. You’re the one who doesn’t understand what you’re reading. We’ve got super humans like Wakatsuki and the Kure Clan. Why are you balking at the influence of an Underworld rich guy to buy and host things on a scale like this secretly? And why did you get so angry easily when all I did was mention the comparative population of Japan? Obviously I subtracted from what the perceived amount should be given the fact that it’s underground, but you’re failing to account for the fact that this is the biggest fictional underground fighting organization in Japan.

Don’t reply to me, idiot. I’m calling you an idiot again to emphasize the fact that the only reason I’m replying to you is to call you an idiot.

It'll be the 8th Fang Retsudo

are those skinny jeans?

Attached: 1567082318581.png (295x251, 62K)

Mokichi...

This dude doesn't look for a match for Agito at all unless he has some ultra autism that lets him see time going slower by default

Grow up

I think thats a pasta

>Hollis sucks ass
As if. He's the most skilled of the Kure and the only reason he's "worse" than Raian is because his Removal isn't as good. He makes up for it with mastery of Kure techniques. The whole reason Raian was in the tournament over Hollis was because Erioh wanted to teach Raian a lesson and get him using his head.

Retsudo would be an interesting pick, Takeyama seems almost too obvious with how they've mentioned the new Fang a few times now while specifically not showing or naming him.

>He is being diplomatic and upfront
I'm guessing behind his monkey facade he's a very cunning guy

He looks like a big shot, but he will lose to Kaneki.

"you still have to walk a few steps to be called 'strong', Hikaru-kun" Kaneki talks with a condescending smile

What would be Kengan's all star lineup? Ohma can be included

.

Attached: 1567082318582.png (336x246, 73K)

Attached: 5688287-asimov1.png (1453x1031, 1.3M)

Damn. I've never seen it before. Feel free to call me a newfag.

Yeah if Hollis fights we may see some Kure techniques instead of Raian against the machine. But i think Raian will take same route as Erioh with mastery of the Kure techniques and that stuff

Based dumpanon.

>photoshopped lions.
C'mon.

We do have bare-knuckled fights nowadays and they don't take that pose anymore. In any case, dropping these.

>jun vs rei
Rei is too fast and too skilled, though this is another difficult matchup for him. He takes it with light/moderate injuried.

>raian vs meguro
Meguo is strong and durable, but I feel like he won't get anywhere with raian. He'll be dead after a round of removal.

>sen vs saw
Difficult matchup for saw, I feel like Sen will see his headbutt coming and counter him hard

>rihito vs gaolang
Kek. Poor rihito.

I want the tournament to be joint commentated by Jerry and this guy and for them to argue about the matches the whole time.

>Ohma
>Beard
>Fang
>Gaolong
>Wakatsuki
>Cosmo
>Raian
>Muteba
>Rei
>Sen
>Setsuna
>Bando
>Julius

I call it "Kazzy´s 13".

If we're assuming 5 people:

Beard
Ohma
Agito
Waka
Raian

Thats the american version
The english ones are more like this

youtu.be/iu6feYMFCVM

youtu.be/bcwLmUtav2s

For a full 13, going with participants from the last tournament
>Gensai
>post-Cohma Ohma
>peak Agito
>activated almonds Sen
>Gaolong (no broken hand)
>motivated Rei
>Waka with both of his eyes
>Raian using Kure techniques
>RubberBando
>Julius after someone tells him that his muscles are gross and steroids are wrong
>fully insane Setsuna
>Sekibayashi in a tag-team with Marvelous Seki
>Muteba with mechanical eyes and his opponent has no idea about them

>no cosmo
Pleb list

He will 100%. His character wouldn't make sense otherwise.
Hollis feels more like an afterthought as a character to be honest.
IIRC Sandrovich originally wanted him and the 2 others to job to Ohma.

Top 8+Seki, Saw, Julius, Raian, Kiryu

This but swap Cosmo with Okubo for now since he's more well rounded at the moment, though timeskip Cosmo's training might have helped with that.

it's the same universe where a decent chunk of Tokyo is a lawless Africa tier ghetto, the worldbuilding isn't really super logical

Cosmo would've gotten stomped by a ton of fighters with gimmicks too weird for him or that are too big for him to handle. As of Asura, Cosmo hadn't fully developed yet and he just wasn't ready yet at the end of the story. Him and Seki may change places in the future, but at the time Cosmo was lower.

Completely forgot muh INSIDE. Hope we will finally resolve all that crap im Omega.

>Julius after someone tells him that his muscles are gross and steroids are wrong.

Steroids aside, that would probably result in him summoning Machia to tagteam the guy in the name of muscles.

Originally, yes, but the roles of characters have changed plenty of times. Gensai wasn't originally intended to win, but Sandrovich changed his mind along the way. Hollis ended up being really hyped up as the top of the Kure even though Raian has higher potential. That being said, Raian has likely just about caught up if not surpassed him.

Jesus, there'd be nothing left of the poor soul.

Ringout is probably getting dropped in the Kengan vs Purgatory fight

>final match in the kengan vs purgatory is a ring out
whats your reaction?

Attached: 1502588703048.jpg (328x319, 72K)

>>Muteba enters, but throws his match as a favor for Sharktits.
he would instantly ascend to GOAT status if this happened

I kinda want Jun vs Haruo to be a thing, just for a chance of midmatch "tag in" and it becoming Marvelous Seki vs Indra.

Yeah, I'd say Cosmo's build and to an extent his inexperience hinders him too much. In Omega, after the timeskip, he might have improved enough to cover for those weaknesses, but we don't know.

>You now imagine Julius and Machia going Armstrong/Curtis on a guy while the Danberu Opening plays.

>They both get rung out
>Tiebreaker match

>Jun dives off stage really quick
>five seconds later Seki jumps up
>Haruo freaks out over the sudden appearance of the demon Seki and starts sweating off his extra weight until he's a shredded Himalayan godman

Bando feels too much like a gimmick character that will job to anyone halfway decent. Unless he trained I don't care to see him again.
Would rather get someone like Gozo to shine.

I mean it's how the 22nd Budokai ended so I don't see the problem really

Purgatory will only show up with 12 fighters and everyone will wonder why they would handicap themselves. That's when Marvelous Seki makes a later appearance when Harou is suppose to fight.

I bet this will happen. It's too good to pass up.

Exactly, the only thing that could top that would be the idea of Sekiyabashi vs Marvelous Seki. Although Indra vs a Ninja Luchadore is a good alternative.

Attached: 1555593656219.jpg (357x300, 43K)

Goddamnit, I want to see Indra Haruo so bad. He has so much potential.

He'd go if goat eyes helped out the village.

I dont fully believe that happening, but at the same time Goat Eyes seems like the kinda guy that would let that happen simply because he would also find it glorious.

The thing about Bando is that you either know about his gimmick or you don't, and then you have to have the ability to react to it. Even the best of fighters are dead if they don't know something about how he can turn your skull to mush in one strike. Even if you do know, then you have to have the speed and reaction time to get a feel for his timing before you can attempt to move in one him if he starts windmilling. Add on that he's no slouch even if he's not using his whips because of his weird anatomy that mitigates most damage and strength and he still makes for a formidable opponent. He can just snaps necks with one hand casually and has no qualms about doing so. He honestly probably wouldn't even be allowed back in the Kengan matches knowing what he can do. He may be a gimmick, but it's a really strong gimmick. I'd still put him in the upper echelon of fighters.
I'd like to see Gozo shine as well, but he's been stuck firmly into jobber status which is sad. He gets set up as Waka's rival but then you see that he has no chance. Then he goes and gets off-screened by a rookie in Omega even if he wasn't in peak condition at the time.

I'm gonna be kinda disappointed if he's an absolute jobber. Hard to predict what his fighting style will be compared to the calm Omori, brutal Takayama, and the mixed bagged autismo Kanoh.

I know it doesn't look like it has much effect but doesn't a mask like this count as a layer of armor?

>Marvelous Seki vs Lovestruck Rei?
Rei isn't going to knock out Jun with the first strike (Jun reacted to Kiozan's tackle and got up from pressure point strike). It depends whether his counters can knock Rei down, at which points he grabs and ends Rei with a power suplex, or he could soak up damage and wait for Rei to tire himself out. In any case I can see Jun returning some hits. Rei can win, but I think he has to end the fight quickly. In both cases I can see somewhat serious injuries.

>Raian vs Meguro
Bad matchup for Meguro. Raian would probably bite off Meguro's fingers. But he will get serious sooner than vs Mokichi. Light to no injuries.

>Saw Paing vs Sen.
Sen takes it. He's too fast, and his throws have flipped and knocked out Bando. Saw's skeleton can take even repeated punishment, but will be knocked out eventually. No injuries.

>Rihito vs Gaolang.
Gaolang gets a free turn. Irrelevant injuries.

Do we have anyone that uses monkey kung fu? This dude looks like a legitmate ape and monkey kung fu is the only martial arts related to monkeys that I'm seeing off of google.

Reminder to you all Metsudo is playing 538D chess and had the 6th Fang defect to Purgatory on purpose to act as a mole inside the organization, and will further cement his role inside Purgatory by losing the Agito

Attached: 1544019994724.png (307x286, 87K)

Will a couple of punches to the face turn him into a decent fellow?

I see what you mean. I guess it depends on the material? If it's leather then I guess it's alright. Not that big of a difference with clothing then, since he wears little else. Or else José would have to take off his Luchador mask as well. Perhaps it's only allowed when both parties agree?

>Raian would probably bite off Meguro's fingers
I do wonder. Both Meguro and Raian are known to be extremely brutal fighters. Who would be the more brutal fighter? Meguro probably?

Eggcellent.

I feel like that generic cool guy almost looks like Kazzy.

So assuming Ryuki and Jose are pretty close in ability based off their brief scuffle then an average A-lister would be Ryuki-tier.

Meguro, Raian is brutal, but still far more contained than him, keep in mind that Meguro is a actual murderer while most Raian killed likely been Kure hitjobs done, he doesnt actively go around murdering random people.

Who would be the strongest person in the anihilation tournament that Rihito has a chance against?

I feel that whoever is gonna go against Ed, is gonna job to him to show what Wu is all about.

Everybody talking ringouts, but I'm thinkig the no kill rule gonna turn up as a bigger deal.
>mid big Purgatory vs Kengan
>Purgatory fighter uses Removal/Advance/weird combo of 2/something else but similar in principal
>whoever his oponnent is gets rocked hard
it ends with either:
>Purgatory fighter wins through the onslaught
>buff runs out and the counter atack kills the Purgatory fighter, disqualifying Kengan fighter

Ryuki has the instinct and natural skill but he was probably going to get his ass beat after the Gaoh style ran out of tricks

Ryuki is kinda hard to qualify, beyond pure physical ability. His style is swiss cheese, which in the situation where people gonna constanly see how he fights, gonna get him hard countered in the matchups

>Who would be the strongest person in the anihilation tournament that Rihito has a chance against?
Not a whole lot, to be honest. I think he has a chance against Nezu, Yoshinari, Murobuchi and perhaps Nikaido. The strongest of which is maybe Murobuchi?

Karo the fishing dude. Rihito is not a hard hitter so Karo won't go ocean mode

If he had it in him to go for the kill with a ripper to the throat, maybe Meguro, but he’d be fucked if he tried to fight like a normal match

I mean, just trace back the results of the tournament. The usual suspects.
I guess in case Gensai or Rei, Raian or Muteba aren't returning calls you could make the case for:
>Akoya (full JUSTICE)
>Bando (yoga master)
(on that note, remember that Kenzo wanted to meet him? I wonder if he's now a full-time Kengan fighter)
>What about Kiryu?
>Naoya I guess.
>Tokux2, I guess.
>Meguro could be an assured double KO, watch out for his gatekeeping.
>Haruo (dammit, I want his redemption story)

Of course Hanafusa could kill anybody, but for the sake of the challenge, his virus is too slow-acting.

>Bando (yoga master)
Spit out my drink

Don't you think that the roster we have now is kind of suspicious?
It is already so damn good that i cant not see something breaking up that group, or stopping people from entering the tournament.
I have a feeling a few of the heavy-hitters are going to drop out slightly before the tourney and kazz is forced to make a rag-tag bunch on the fly

Thanks for the dump!

Not really. Kengan's going up against the very best of Purgatory, and they're no pushovers.

You could have a character throw the match, but for a good reason. I don't think "I never tried to fight seriously in the first place" would be fulfilling.

That being said,
>Rihito post-Kaiwan training will become a Fang.

He looks like a scumbag, but you know...

I guess it depends on your idea of brutality. Meguro is sadistic, but Raian closes the deal with actual murder.
Unrelated note: remember that thing about assassins forgetting martial arts, I wonder how it plays with Kure techniques.

>Pankration guy pulls an Arrichion.

No because I'm pretty sure that Purgatory is going to have Fang tier monsters

Meguro murdered the fuck out of his dad and the other top students at his dojo with judo throws too though

Well, what most people probably want to see is this guy fighting Agito and what his fighting style is along with how Agito has improved his own fighting style

The problem is that the author might subvert our expectations and it ends up this guy had a completely sensible reason for leaving Metsudo and joining up with Purgatory which ends up causing him not to fight Fang at all.

And let's not forget that there's a shadow organization that can create body doubles of fighters they kill that can fight almost just as well as the original article

>Just once I want a manga where the MC is like that Chad with the women swimming in money, just isn't a jerk about it.

So a Muteba spin-off?

Let alone decapitated one.

I will never stop until i get that damn spin-off of him and Meguros ghost.

Attached: African Warcrime Adventures.png (523x859, 268K)

He looks like the villain of Back to the Future, but wih black hair.

also can't wait to see shirtless the sunglasses hottie behind him.

Purgatory has a lot of Top tiers, Kengan kinda needs all the heaviest hitter they can get.
With how much KA set up with Tiger's vessel, Worm and mystery of what happened to Nikos, not even mentioning that, as said, there is already someone fuckin with even the set up.
I'm willing to bet, that Idemitsu isn't gonna turn up as someone extra shday, but gonna get double crossed by Ed Wu and\or those with him. The tournament ends up delayed or called off before the conclusion, similar to how Kengan had a mutiny, but bigger, ending with everyone left standing against Worm\Gu and whoever is with them.

Unlimited arm whip and pesistence hunting.

>!!!

There's always that big question on Toku2: will he or won't he?
Because as it is, all the slots for the kengan side will be filled rather easily, but a fresh batch of characters would only be welcomed. Unless this is really just 'Kengan All-Stars you've come to love'.
(oh well, there's always Kengan Ultimate)

Nah, Raian will fight Edward Wu

>cosmo vs adam gets a whole episode in the anime
>muteba vs meguro gets like six minutes
fuck this gay earth

At least we know the face that will be put on the tombstone

Blimey

How do 50,000 people get to a secret stadium built in the mountains far from civilization?

>Tiebreaker
KAZZY VS GOAT

Planes, helicopters

I’m torn because I want to see new fighters, but there’s also returning guys I really want to get a chance to shine like Okubo

If we're going the obvious route and we're pairing parallels like
Raian-Edward
Hikaru-Agito
That twink-Cosmo
Who would fight mister trenchcoat man?

Now that just wouldn´t be fair.

>Toyoda actually built the mountains around the stadium, and it's just outside Tokyo 15 mins from downtown.

Wakatsuki, I’m getting a collected veteran vibe from trenchcoat.

No it's obviously a reference to Mike Myers, baby

kengan asura anime s2 when?

I think we kinda need new faces in the Kengan rooster, or you'll run into the problem that you're not gonna root for anybody beside the Kengan guy. But at least having some new character vs new character would throw in some spice. But I dunno, a big part of Kengan's charm is that it makes you fond of unsuspecting figures, I trust Sandro.
(Of course I would say that a proper sequel would rather fare better, in theory, by showing the likes of Kaneda, Rihito, Okubo, healed!Kiryu, unleashed!Bando etc)

Assuming mr. trenchcoat is a fighter at all.
He looks so unique, he would be the only fighter in formal clothing.
>he's Karla's father who married into the family.

Half those fighters would tap out against foresight cosmo.

He looks like a fucking baboon.

october 31

The stadium is in Kyushu.

Attached: Shimazu.png (800x1137, 302K)

nice, hope they improve their cgi

Kyushu is a barren wasteland, so it makes sense to build a stadium there.

Agree, but as Indra we kinda have Wakatsuki already as a type. He needs some serious puroresu charm and moves to diversify, since whatever 'gurkha martial arts' ship has sailed.

the CGI is fine. Try watching old-school (but also recent) anime and you'll see just as much stiff animation. It's just a matter of getting used to.

50k people attending a regular "underground" event match in the middle of bumfuck nowhere is pretty funny after reading Dolkara.

I hate him already.

Please respond

Also, do you know any fighters who are hyper mobile? I am and I wanna know if there's anything to look out for with hypermobile shoulders which is my main thing

The two chads in the back are going to rape Kengan Association fighters. I just know it.

Kengan Association winning against Purgatory is like bad guys winning because the leadership is still in the bed with the Scarfuck.

Yeah, the Setsuna vs Gensai match was based.

I kinda hope so. Like there's out of match attacks, and they have fights/scenes, but are too injured to make the main fight.

Like? Most of them have favorable matchups in some way. Gensai slaughters with his own foresight. We already know how Ohma goes. Agito absolutely destroys him. Sen has better reaction time than the majority of other fighters and is already higher spec than Cosmo. Gaolong is a god of foresight and speed who wouldn't fall for the Zone. Rei might get caught because he's so straightforward, but only if he's not full love-powered. Waka is just too strong for a grapple from someone like Cosmo to work on. Raian maybe if he's just being a retard, but he's still incredibly high spec and Removal means he'd rip Cosmo in half. Cosmo might be able to react to an arm whip from Bando if he knows about it beforehand, but it's a move you have to actively be looking for. Julius is like Waka but worse for Cosmo because his frame is even bigger. He could probably catch Setsuna is he can predict the Blink and avoid being turned into a screw. Sekibayashi is huge as well and he's got much better endurance than Cosmo. He trades off some foresight for much higher defense, and I doubt Cosmo could choke him out before Jun slams his tiny body into the ground. Muteba is very unlikely to fall for the Zone and he's got pretty good predictive ability of his own. Cosmo may have a chance.
That's far from half. Cosmo as of Asura is lacking in strength, striking skill, and speed, and experience to deal with a bunch of these guys. In an actual fight, he would've lost to Okubo as well. The only reason he got to fight against Ohma was because of the deal they made that whoever was put on the ground first lost. Okuba went into it underestimating Cosmo and didn't even treat it like a real fight.

They barely tolerate him. They're far from "in bed with" him. He gets to live as a puppet and is lucky Metsudo didn't gut him alive while he was still on the island. Just because he still has a little influence doesn't mean he's a huge player.

We might even get Karla as a fighter to show us less brutal but more technical kure fighting style

kengan association winning is the bad guys winning because it's a bunch of rich guy making other guys fight to the death for them, while Purgatory offers some protection to the fighters

I hope the referee was only doing a quick summary of the rules. "A fighter is disqualified if any part of his body makes contact with the ground outside the ring" is a bit vague. What constitutes a part of the body can be up to interpretation. The full rule should at least say "a body part connected to the main body" to avoid ring-out from a finger being tossed out the ring. Or just a fingernail, or a drop of blood. What about the fighter with long hair from the previous manga, would he be disqualified if he whipped his hair behind him and it touched the ground?

The fighters aren't forced to fight

This guy looks extremely evil, he looks like Wyald from Berserk.

>rich guys

eeew.

Kengan fights aren't to the death. Raian didn't get a bonus for going for the kill against Mokichi. The only difference is that Purgatory explicitly forbids murder.

Isn't kazzy protecting fighters with Yamashita trading CO?

And so does Kengan now

>He doesn't know.

You're just wildly overestimating the other fighters.
Okubo was fully healed, and still knew that he wouldn't have been able to countered the zone from an injured Cosmo.
Of course the fighters 2x his size COULD beat him, but they won't.
Ohma relied on the inverse grapple, because any other attack was instantly predicted.

Admittedly the system was flawed. Just see Akoya vs Cosmo as well.

I feel like sharktits is going to order Muteba to carry out an actual hit on someone to her benefit honestly, this is a really powerful tool at her disposal here

Whatever protection it offers is countered by obstructing proper breathing.

I never had a problem with a comments, they were always kinda fun

>barely tolerate him
Don't make me laugh, user. They STILL barely tolerate him after 2 known failed violent power grabs (at least one of which could have resulted in hundreds of thousands of dead but resulted only in dozens or a couple hundred) and countless other crimes including, but not limited to, assassination, blackmail and death threats. You know, the things their association IS SUPPOSED to be protecting its members from?
>He gets to live as a puppet
First, he doesn't deserve to live even as a puppet, he is a creature that is objectively worse than Meguro. Second, he isn't a puppet and according to Kazzy they still have to consider his faction's opinion.

Attached: KA 205 u15.png (847x1200, 1.08M)

>Okubo was fully healed, and still knew that he wouldn't have been able to countered the zone from an injured Cosmo in regards to the rules laid out for the spar

>Due to some complaints
It was literally a single person, and he was shit on by the rest of the thread.

Attached: 03.png (960x1361, 767K)

Everyone's talking about ring-outs but one glaring problem I see is
>Knockdown
Not knock out, knock down. Half, if not more, of the Kengan line-up so far have a solid grappling base. On the purgatory side there is Jose but pro-wrestling is more of a stand-up event than ground game so it's entirely possible they have no grappling at all.

Okubo specifically thinks that he wouldn't have been able to counter it anyways

Hey! If Agito was in USA, then what was femKaneda doing in the middle east/Africa (I can't remember which one)?

Wasn't she in Egypt before the Purgatory tournament was decided? She's mostly likely there for the Worm/Tigerman stuff.

The lighting on his legs makes him look like he's in shorts with Ohma-bruises.

It was like one person and they were an autist. The person dumping a chapter for everyone else should be allowed to comment on it. Either way, thanks for the effort.

looking for Hassad

Knockdowns are the very essence of the sports element of Boxing. If you could only knock people out, it would be considered to brutal and maybe ranked on the same level as bare knuckle boxing. The knockdown rule is meant to reduce the possibility of brain damage for a fighter.

Theoretically, if he was against Gensai without any lance shenanigans would his offensive-defence do anything? I would think Gensai's form would be too solid.

>Kureishi the bone-setter.
>After a match the next day comes in limping or with a broken arm.

It's knockdown on the count of ten, standard stuff. I don't think it means you win if you can keep the submission for more than 10 seconds.
For that matter, it also doesn't explicitly mention tapping out.

She has a bro, though

That's dangerous, tiger is gonna kill the big cats.

Wow, rude.

We need more kengan fanarts.

Too bad he looks like a shlub in those sweats.

>and starts sweating off his extra weight until he's a shredded Himalayan godman
How much of a trunk do you think he's put on? In his backstory he was a lanklet and during the first tournament he still looked like he was pretty lanky under all that fat. I hope there's a Seki underneath.

>implying he cared about a mole and didn't just do it to get Agito in top form

Could Koga beat one of these faggots?

>Due to some complaints last week, I will stop commenting.
That's ungrateful, what brainless poorfag would offense to you commenting on what you dump for free ? This is why I would never dump on /a. Pearls to the swines and all that/

That was just one retard, please keep commenting

If Agito and KA by extension doesn't want to look like giant weenies, the worm needs to put a hit on him to cripple him a bit

>but they won't
They will because they also have their own sets of skills or strengths in addition to the size advantage. Cosmo has no chance against more than half of that list. Simply no way if we're talking pre-timeskip Cosmo. You're sorely overrating the Zone. It only works once someone goes all-in on an attack and stops paying attention. It fails against fighters with better foresight than him or that can pummel him before he can set up for a finisher. Who of that list do you actually think he can beat? Also
>Okubo was fully healed, and still knew that he wouldn't have been able to countered the zone from an injured Cosmo.
He just thought that he wouldn't have been able to put Cosmo on the ground first. Okubo is a great all-rounder with great groundwork himself who could knock him out even while on the ground. It's an MMA specialty.

His "faction's opinion" is comprised of his old supporters and those who were on his side. Toyo himself is little more than a puppet of those around him now. It's less his faction and more a faction he is the face for.

I like how everyone calls Kazzy "mister"

My point was more focused on grappling than anything else.

>It's knockdown on the count of ten, standard stuff.
Which means no ground game, it's just knocking them down then letting them stand back up, how are they going to get up in 10 seconds if you have them in a partial hold or have you mounted? How long was Cosmo mounted on Adam/Ohma for?

What obscure martial arts do you like? I'm partial to jogo do pau and galhofa

You literally have no proof of what you are saying. Also, his "faction" was "Scarcunt is the king, the rest are his servants" and nothing so far points to any changes in that regard besides your wishful thinking.

He did relatively well against Jose who's an A lister (albeit was handicapped), I think he could but it'd be a struggle, if those guys are mid-B class then he'd be high-C or low-B.

Attached: yZyCSknoRB4.jpg (719x639, 130K)

He was the result of Wakatsukis day off a few years before, the lady came back for Tigerseed.

Maybe it doesn't count if you are in the middle of action. In that case the action just goes on as normal. But if you are down (wether following a punch or by a takedown) and the referee thinks you've started to see the light at the end of the tunnel, he breaks it and gives you a choice: continue Y/N? (all in the spirit of safety: this means no Raian or Akoya can just abuse an unresponsive fighter)
But yes it is a weird ruling. Who knows how it will be implemented.

I always like monochrome with a point of color.

>anime almost cut the caracter completely
Hassad poster would've been pissed

No one gives a shit about the anime

In Bogu Karate (Kudo in this case) there is a time limit to grappling and knockdowns are still possible. They are scored seperatley, so its not impossible that the same case here

The Knockdown Rule seems to more fall in line with an incapacitated 10 count rather than being a way to kill grappling.

Is Raian weak to jokes?

Can't blame her. The "Wild Tiger" on his second round made a "Wild Bunny."

A Tiger & Bunny

It isn't particularly obscure but dirty boxing is neat.

>Maybe it doesn't count if you are in the middle of action
Who stops just because the opponent goes down? Take MMA for example, professional fighters don't stop for anything until the ref tells them to, so keeping that in mind the moment someone is knocked down they should be taking a more advantageous position rather than risking the opponent getting back up.

Toyoda's not even a bad guy is he? I bet by the end he's going to win it, but he'll be so bored he's going to let Nogi have it.

Attached: h5.png (960x1361, 796K)

jogo do pau looks more weird than obscure, swinging sticks like swords and not spears.

There's always taido, aka 'point karate+capoeira'

which looks remarkably less cool IRL
youtube.com/watch?v=FLRp3NK0fhU
and calcio storico.

>who stops
The ref.
If the opponent goes down because of a punch, it's a break (he's being knocked down), if he goes down because of a takedown there is no pause. Again, I can only guess.

A punch is a way to take someone down though.

>Toyoda's not even a bad guy
He is. Look at those eyes. LOOK AT THEM

Meanwhile Fist of the Seeker has a plenty.

knock-down, not so much take-down. They are two different things. One is because your legs fail you, with a near or total loss of consciousness, and the ref may separate the fighters because one cannot continue, the other is because the opponent topples you over, but you are able to continue the fight (to the ground). Plenty of stoppage in MMA without the need to see if the downed fighter can take a few punches and fight back. The ref gets close to check and... in Purgatory case I guess he gives you ten seconds to see if you have the strength to get up.
The weird part is that there doesn't seem to be point-scoring in Purgatory, so you can eventually only go for a knockdown... or the aforementioned ringout.

He just wants to be friends with Kazzy.

user no one in the elite wants to set the precedent of seriously punishing a member of the elite. Shit like execution or prison is for disciplining plebs.

He probably paid something akin to a fine to disincentivize the sort of shit he did somewhat and everyone carried on.

Would be cool if he'd be on purgatorys team

But their legs failing them doesn't mean you didn't take them down, they're on the floor and now you have a better position. Plenty of MMA submissions started from someone losing their balance to a well placed punch and falling over, if you're forced to stop and wait for them to get up then that'd just be retarded.

this, Scarface is a bit of a rascal but he's one of theirs

Would be awkward with Eddie Wu also being there.
I think that some of the Fist of the Seeker characters might give Koga ideas on what to use as a finisher. Samato is one of the more capable ones, Removal used or not.

So far we only know that his faction still stands. Faction standing does not need someone who forced or coerced them into cooperation, especially when they built ties between each other over the time they were under the Scarface's leadership, but have no clear leader now.

Metsudo already did, unless you think burning half of his fucking face is a light punishment. Nogi would have been a bum if that CEO wasn't such a nice dude, a serious punishment. Also, they aren't elite, they are businessmen. Getting destroyed is part of the danger. And all of those businessmen were in direct danger because of the fucker, killing him isn't a bad precedent at all and they could at least seize all of his assets. Plus Nogi was ranting about how he totally wanted to right the wrongs in the association. I don't see what you are getting at besides maybe saying that I am totally right about designating the KA as the bad guys in their conflict with Purgatory.

But he is not? You don't create the anti-scat association and then tolerate one of your members openly consuming feces in large quantities during the meetings.

>Getting destroyed is part of the danger.
Yeah, destroyed for business reasons, not on principle or as punishment. Any one of them is free to try to have him assassinated if they feel it'd be better for business if he died.

Galhofa is cool, it's an iberian coming of age ancient pagan tradition. Guys gather in a barn and begins fight with a hug and then grapple. Very homo, as grappling should be. I didn't even know there was a Portuguese martial art but I guess it's basically just Portuguese pankra

Jogo do pau is really interesting, its unorthodox and simple. Seems there are only a few techniques. It's kind of like the boxing of stick fighting.

What's the status on Fist of the Seeker?
Could hokutonogun take it up? You only need a translator after all.

Now you’re just being obtuse. The ref intervening to stop the action (and start the counting) may happen if you look egregiously damaged. You go to the ground via takedown, start grappling. You go to the ground via throw, start grappling or whatever (unless Sen puts you into the ground like he did with Bando, at which point you are given a 10-second count). You go to the ground via kick, you can still fight, go on. You go to the ground via punch... do you look unconscious or semi-unonscious, or better yet, capable of still defending yourself? If not, you are given a count. If you don’t get up, the knockdown becomes a TKO.
Besides, MMA ruling is a moot point because Purgatory obviously doesn't follow MMA ruling. Mind you, in Pancrase you could outright break free from the submission game by touching the ropes (but you lost points). Nobody complained it was unfair to grapplers. There have been more rulings than promotions throughout history. I mean, don’t you have rounds in MMA? Isn’t that unfair to grapplers?
>I didn't even know there was a Portuguese martial art
Basically every nation in the world has a martial arts curriculum. Problem is in most cases it's completely forgotten.

Thats sad. I bet there are some really cool and effective martial arts they grt no recognition. I'd totally watch a kengan style league for martial artists who use really obscure or dying arts fighting each other, with some popular stuff being banned.

Eh, I doubt it. From what I can see on youtube about galhofa it's nothing never seen before. I think by now we have a pretty solid grasp of what works and what doesn't. But still it's cool to rediscover tradition.
The next frontier would be gimmicks (bareknuckled boxing) or armed combat (HEMA, kendo, etc)

goats aren't evil

I think he looks more like the rape horse.

HEMA/Kendo are pretty larpy since no one uses swords anymore, at least with martial arts we're without weapons for a lot of our lives so it's more relatable, if it were going to go in that vein then something like small arena airsoft sounds more likely.

can dump user just shut up?
if you are going to act like a retard just let me dump it for you

Galhofa is basically almost exactly rhe same as pankration but with some slight variations. It's not really bad, just nothing really exciting. Who knows what kind of cool and unorthodox stuff there could be out there though, I'd love to see people compete in weird martial arts.

Calling it right now like some other anons that he has a terminal illness and wants to go to the moon in part because of that but wants to put on an awesome as fuck martial arts tournament

Just open all pictures you dumb nigger.
Maybe getting off Yea Forums and browsing something like mangarock is more your taste?
