Second cour didn't start off as good as first one, but it caught up halfway through in my opinion. There was an increase of QUALITY and the writing deviated even more from the manga.

I can't believe they made the fire scene worse. The composition and animation there were decent; the main problems were the sudden background swap and the fire engulfing the whole tower instantly. The CG fire is even more jarring because it clashes with the muted, almost dreamlike color palette of the scene.

I don't know I don't think its worth starting a flamewar over but I thought the show was a 7 at best and its 8+ score is clearly the result of a lot of seasonal watchers being fairly new to anime
