>Early Dragon Ball: the "magic water" that makes you stronger isn't real Goku got stronger by climbing the tower and training with Korin. >Later Dragon Ball: nope never mind the magic water is real because of plot convenience, doesn't matter if it undermines the lesson of earning your own strength from Korin. Dragon Ball is irredeemable trash
You have shit taste OP
Robert Carter
FMA is shit tier now fuck off back to MAL.
Jason Moore
>Top tier >Hunter x Hunter (you)
Aiden Hall
>Dragon Ball is irredeemable trash that's why it's only at "decent tier" you dingus
Angel Richardson
Shingeki no Kyojin, Fist of the Norther Star, Devilman, and Death Note are just hard shounen. Learn the fucking difference.
Luke Reed
All I need to do here is to compare the One Piece and the Naruto placement. If One Piece is ranked higher than Naruto, the respective list is worthless, no further questions asked.
>Top tier >Hunter x Hunter >One Piece >JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (2, 4, 5, 6) I'll never watch any, last 2 look like garbage for children and/or homos and HxH just seems too autistic.
Dylan Murphy
Yeah, when you look at it outside of historical context it's baffling how people can like it, it's just... not good at anything, whatever you like about it has been done better somewhere else.
1. Hunter x Hunter 2. One Piece 3. Fullmetal Alchemist 4. Gintama 5. Shingeki no Kyojin 6. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure 7. Gash Bell 8. Yu Yu Hakusho 9. Boku no Hero Academia 10. Rurouni Kenshin
Joseph Hughes
Wait, no, I fell for it... fuck.
Christopher Brown
>Top tier vento aureo You japanee or just retarded op?
Elijah Edwards
Agree but One Piece and Gintama are way too high.
Michael Wilson
>JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (2, 4, 5, 6) >6 >not 7 are you trolling?
Jonathan Russell
>all these retards acting as if shonen and seinen are genres
>JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (2, 4, 5, 6) Honest question, why is JJBA getting such high rankings? What's even funnier is that 3 is the one that launched Jojo into the mainstream. The funniest is that Jojo has plot holes for days but it's handwaved for this manga and this manga only.
>Gintama good tier. >Bleach inane tier >One Piece top tier. Do the world a favor and eradicate your existence from the Earth OP.
Parker Hall
> god tier > Gash Bell
This is the correct ranking anan.
Evan Miller
7 was released in a seinen magazine, why would it be on a shonen list
Kevin Reed
>soul eater decent >medaka-box abysmal also Black Clover is top tier

An acceptable opinion ruined by HxH. A lot of your others also need to be moved around, but HxH makes you seem like a disingenuous retard.
Ayden Robinson
ناروتو لازم يكون أعلى يكسمك وهانتر منيح بس مانو احسن من ناروتو بلاك كلوفر لازم يكون أعلى كمان وبس كسمك

Medaka Box is Good you retard. Kumagawa saves it.

>Hunter x Hunter >Better than Yu Yu Hakushou Trash taste faggot
Austin Miller
Where does Bleach go if not inane tier? The later volumes are the only manga I ever read where I thought I could do a better job of it than the author
Justin Moore
Where's your chapter Hiatuscucks?
Adrian Richardson
You have shit tastes, user.
William Thomas
haha but that's the fun of jojo, user! the asspulls and plotholes! araki's wild ride haha! don't question it and turn your brain off! don't judge, consume!
Bleach later part was shit but when compared overall it can't be placed lower than Gintama.
Carson Hill
it's a dumb manga that goes full nisio for the worst. one good character does not save the entire manga. it definitely doesn't need to be that low though.
Whenever I see someone who prefers wanpiss over DB and Jojo over HnK I immediately dismiss person as mentally handicapped, even if that person is hunterbro.
I actually can't imagine having enough time to read/watch all of these and analyse them in enough detail to rank them.
Xavier Bell
Hokuto no Ken (wouldn't want to confuse it for the superior Houseki no Kuni) is one of the most overrated manga in existence. It does nothing but repeat its already stale formula and it's only still liked because people have convinced themselves that manly=good. They see a buff shirtless man and that's good enough for them to call a series good even if everything else about it is trash.
Grayson Brooks
>Medaka Box >Abysmal
>Gash Bell not in top tier.
As a long time fan of Araki, I find that JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is typically regarded as highly as it is because people find it to be refreshing compared to other Shonen serials. I personally don't think many of the parts should be regarded as top tier. I think Parts 1, 7 and 8 are the best JoJo has ever been, but 7 and 8 aren't Shonen.
The others should be in "Good" tier, and Part 3 should be much lower.
>Part 3 is the one that launched JoJo into the mainstream. Stands were a cool idea, and Jotaro was probably considered fashionable at the time (I don't know how though, he's really terrible) but there are better, cooler Stands in every subsequent part. Part 3 is awful.
Hudson Turner
Dragon Ball should be at least one rung higher than it is.
Wyatt Young
>The later volumes are the only manga I ever read where I thought I could do a better job of it than the author Suuure you could
Kevin Wright
>it's only still liked because people have convinced themselves that manly=good. Oh yeah I bet you'd prefer if main character was twink faggot who survives by sucking off every bandit just like you would.
Brayden Perez
Thanks for proving my point.
Jaxon Ramirez
You are why we have faggot protagonists.
Levi Davis
>yyh >hnk >good Nostalgia faggots always glorify these two series with abysmal writing and want their opinion to be taken seriously.
t. guy who's punches don't produce jet engine sounds t. oxygenlet
Angel Robinson
Post favourite anime then.
I'm sure it's written much better than YYH
Easton Lewis
Post yours. I'm not the one making this thread for the thousandth time with the same old images that date back to the mid 2000s. And as for YYH, it has every single cliche and bad writing in the book, it has actual power of friendship and the bad guys were the good guys all along shit, and of course by the end it crashed with Togashi's health and enthusiasm.
Gavin Campbell
>Yea Forums is a single person
I don't read a lot of shonen in general, save for the ones I grew up with (and a few minor exceptions) and I think a lot of people are like that, they are just not very honest about it. So they will rank the ones they know of, and sort of place the rest somewhere on the list, based on what they heard about them. Shonen is and can be excessive, like even the ones that you liked when you were a kid. you go back to them and you cringe a little are your former self. so shonen readers are kind of soft locked into their generation of shonen. I think this makes shonen tier lists dead on arrival.
I'm to going to pretend that I read HnK or JoJo. I might one day read/watch JoJo but I can't rank it now.
I read/watched Death Note, FMA, Bleach, One Piece, HxH, Soul Eater and Bakugan. I'm reading MHA and Chainsawman now. I sporadically kept up with Naruto to know what the shitposts are about but I don't remember much of it. I jumped on the Nanatsu train halfway through the sires and I read the chapters weekly but don't know how it began or what half of the human supporting characters arc. Bleach was a formative experience and a long time favorite but I don't think it's very good in retrospect. Pretty bad in fact. One Piece is consistently the same quality, that is to say it's good but some of the scenes with the supporting cast of each can can rally drag on; whether you like some character and their designs can really make or break and arc. FMA is probably the most balanced shonen and I'd rate it the overall best, it doesn't really have flaws. HxH has probably the best peaks on the list but it's not every arc. Yorknew is the best. Greed Island is pretty meh. Chimera only picks up with King&Komugi. Soul Eater has some of the best art. It's otherwise "ok." Chainsaw is really promising, and MHA is... MHA.
You are a complete idiot. Men dont only need manly mcs. We should pursue for a manly MC with a good story. Believing some sort of mediocrity like hnk is better because of "muh muscles" is complete bullshit. At least have better standards for manliness, like Vinland saga or ashita no joe. Ive seen harem shit and moe being way better than hnk. On top of that, its usually the twinks and the fatasses that like too clam "muh manliness" when they cant even lift a bar of chocolate.
Luis Thompson
>>HxH at the top considering that you posted hxh reaction image, aren't you happy with that?
Ethan Anderson
>>Top tier >Hunter x Hunter >One Piece >>Abysmal tier >Deadman Wonderland >Fairy Tail Pretty based

Mason Miller
Then don't post using a hxh pic retard
Christian Morris
Damn, this is good bait
Jackson Flores
I don’t even know where to begin with such a retarded list
Naruto, My Hero Academia, Bleach, Dragonball, Toriko and Shaman King are Top Tier shonen who don't have to rely on walls of text and an unecessary complicated battle system like HiatusxHiatus.
Benjamin Campbell
This
You guys hate fun
Easton Wood
Based.
Detail=/=Good, Huntercucks.
Juan Anderson
Nen isn't even that complicated, it just has so many rules that even the most asspull-y moments like Gon-san get a pass. If I could fix one thing it would be to just eliminate the Specialist class.
wish you wouldn't put HxH in the same tier as the others. maybe make a super top tier and put HxH there.
Brandon Davis
>YYH >two of the greatest written villains Meruem and Chrollo shit all over Toguro and Sensui.
Oliver Allen
I liked Deadman more than anything in your top tier
Colton Cox
Yeah the only "asspull" moments in HxH that truly annoy me are Kite's and Hisoka's revivals (Don't care how you explain it, I don't like people coming back to life) And Alluka's existence which basically breaks the entire system.
Literally Shigaraki. Your manga is as shit as heroaca
Juan Campbell
I think he meant multiple plot threads entangling each other. One piece is pretty formulaic for the most part and you could watch an arc without much detail from the last arcs and the strings connecting the arcs are insignificant. In that sense Naruto is complicated since it's a long spanning single story(atleast the main plot of shippuden, which is also a reason why people don't like it.)
Having a convoluted plot could be a plus or a minus depending on the viewer,so can't say much in that regard.
Elijah Williams
>Shigaraki I don't know who this is. Go back to reading your shonenshit. HxH is for intellectuals.
I was recently catching up with One Piece and I felt like it wasn't like this at all. Through the entire WCI and Reverie arcs I was just thinking how nonsense a lot of it would seem to someone that didn't remember much about previous arcs. Not to mention the shear amount of characters that keep being introduced (or re-introduced in the case of some of them). One Piece has been like that for a while though where a character introduced 100 chapters ago will show up later on, usually with a small "oh yeah, here's where you should remember this character from" but still.
Daniel Scott
Is there a difference between huntha huntha and rick and morty?
You could enjoy skypia arc on itself, and although I haven't seen Op in a while I'm sure there are more similar arcs. With Naruto you even have to understand character motivations and even specific lines by them to have a firm grasp on the story and the conflicts. Yes, one piece has master level world building yet Naruto is mainly a character driven story. So it's only fair to compare them on aspects both of them excel on. But there are some plot points that are setup in early Naruto nd you get the payoff much later(ie;the Ninshu system which comes roughly 400 chpts later foreshadowed in part one VOE fight,Orochimaru's revival of the hokage built up since Sarutobi fight etc..)
Sebastian Jones
I think the only thing you'd lose by starting in WCI (while knowing the basic concepts of the series) would be not knowing about the bomb in the box. In all honesty, I think I'd enjoy it more if I started at Zou arc.
Ayden Baker
With One piece,On foreshadowing part I'm not that interested too since it feels like its Oda trying to tie up the story retroactively that has many loose ends.
Jack Johnson
Many things are done retroactively, but I wouldn't overdo it. Everything in Wano arc really ties neatly and probably was planned since PH,
Gabriel Ramirez
Haven't caught up since Doflamingo arc,I'll make sure to check it.
