I've got a question about the reincarnation process.
I get that the souls go into the most compatible bodies, but what made the compatible bodies exist in the first place?

William might have unconsciously influenced Patri's action after Patri cut Fuego's arm off and stopped him reflexively stopped him fro killing Fuego. For a healer character she is actually confident and strong-willed. Not to mention creating an offensive spell despite her magic being normally used for healing. I'm sure there will be more of her in the future.

That's a fair question, but honestly I'm just generalizing. I don't hate his art but have a fair amount of nitpicks about it - one being that I've never liked how he shades necks. If I had to pick my current favorite weekly manga for art it would be BNHA. If nothing else Horikoshi is a brilliant artist.

You know, I never had a problem with what happened to Fuego with Patri. It was very obvious that he was too shaken and shocked to react to anything after seeing his comrade in a place where he was expecting his enemies, transformed into another person right in front of him while spouting confusing words. I think that Fuego raising his arm was done out of reflex and without thinking. Also, he didn't know Patri or his magic at all and Patri was as fast as light. Patri even commented on Fuego's state. What I only didn't like about it was that they made it seemed like William took Patri's side and was working with him when he was supposed to be on the neutral between Patri and Julius.

Just read through the entire manga to this point.

The end of the Elven saga felt immensely satisfying in part due to how it's been built up from day one. Some moments were better done in manga form while I feel the anime elevated others (royal knights tournament) but overall I can't wait for what comes next.

In the manga they didn't even really feature the nonames much at all. With the anime, once the selections were revealed I recognised each of the characters. The manga version didn't introduce Ben for example until he was already a Royal Knight about to be elf'd. So it was a real headscratcher how he got in over Magna, Sol, and Leo. (though in later chapters the aforementioned all played roles that sort of required them to be elsewhere)

Yeah honestly I don't see it as being anywhere as bad as Nardo (where out of like 500 episodes 200+ are straight filler) or One Piece where there's less filler arcs but oftentimes they drag out iconic moments so that it takes like 10 mins of just staring at each other and it loses the impact.

BC seems like a decent compromise considering its a weekly longrunner. Do I wish they'd lose the recap/FWK opening, sure. But it's not a deal breaker.

The BC fillers always felt like padded scenes to me to make canon scenes longer and give more context to the manga. It really shouldn't be compared to Nardo fillers that would cut out fights and canon story lines in the middle and made the audiences sit through episodes. At least in BC the fillers weren't tiresome at all.

MHA throws its side characters at the wayside to focus on an uninteresting Nardo-Sausegay sequel nobody wanted. The villains are also generally more generic "i hate everyone" bullshit.

BC has more emphasis on team battles than any recent shounen I can think of. The rival is more of a foil than anything else. The whole Elven terrorist reincarnation plot is laid out and foreshadowed from the beginning, and they have a pretty understandable motive for it rather than "REEEE, villainz rise up" bullcrap.

BC's worldbuilding opens up a lot more possibilities that can fans can endlessly speculate about, while My Hero's premise almost seems to confine it into the school setting. I'd say BC is akin to pre-timeskip One Piece while MHA is closer to Naruto.

I feel like there should have been another round of promotions somewhere before the kingdom got JUST'ed. During the entire Royal Knights arc they observe and comment that these lower ranked guys are way more powerful than their current title implies. So while a part of me does like the direction of the whole Kira post-war fallout, I don't want the whole dynamic with the Black Bulls competing with the other squads going away.

Also personally I think Fuego's gonna be the next WK purely because Tabata's kind of been good at shrewdly putting characters in positions where they're logically doing something relevant to themselves instead of just leaving it out of sight out of mind. Fuego gets WK title, Crimson Lions are still okay because they've got Mereoleona. If Nozel gets it are we supposed to believe that fucking Solid's gonna step up. Nils and Curtis of all people have accomplished more.

If anything I can see Nozel going full anti-hero coup d'etat mode on the Kira's and trying to usurp the actual throne. And after all the Silvas have been consistently portrayed as obsessing more over their royal status than the Vermillions.

Wevil is the weakest villain till now and drags down the arc because he came in at the end though I understand why tabata did it.

But that is definitely not the case. I'm not saying they're better than BC villains - but their motives are more complex and layered than you're suggesting. There's an underlying theme to many of the villainous motivations as well.

Additionally the Bakugou v. Deku rivalry is fundamentally superior to Sasuke v. Naruto simply due to Bakugou's character not being thrown into the toilet at the equivalent arc. The fact that the narrative jerks him off too much is a problem, but it doesn't eliminate the foundations.

I was the user who originally criticized it but I do have to give that to you. For as much of a mess as Sasuke's character was after the first fight the ultimate resolution was perfectly delivered - both as a conclusion to the rivalry and as one of the best fights in all of anime.
