Wow, it really is forgotten.
Is it worth picking up? I've burned through everything else mahjong related.
It's good, but it's never getting translated.
Wish translations were fucking finished at least. Part 1 is good on its own, but Part 2 has been in translation limbo forever.
It's great, go read until the end of Part 1.
Actually extremely disappointed by this. The first part is a goddamn masterpiece of comedy and weird mahjong, and part 2 is pretty great so far, but translations will never be finished.
>the Donald Trump part will never get translated either
such a shame
That one did get translated though.
Is it worth? The premise sounds amazing even though I don't know crap about Mahjong.
damn, so it's just part 2 of the original series that's not translated? that's weird, I'm gonna read the Trump part, but I still want to read the rest of the Mao arc
>Is it worth?
hell yeah
Yeah. But prepare for Japanese wanking tho.
>But prepare for Japanese wanking tho.
As much as the series wanks Japan, it's inarguable that two of the strongest mahjong characters were a german and an italian. Japan had to eke by through cheating and even better cheating.
My katakana's a bit choppy but does that say "GREAT F-CKIN WALL"?
>tfw Koizumi grips the tile so tight that he changes the symbol on the face
I fucking nutted.
sure, but what about the Dalai Lama being a good guy?
>Dalai Lama being a good guy?
Could you refresh my memory? This happened in the stuff currently translated?
yes, iirc he was introduced in the beginning of part 2
I still remember his sacrifice.
Yes.
It's probably the greatest work ever created by a Japanese. If you're a /his/sie then you'll love it even more because every chapter includes at least one parody of a famous photograph and there's tons of annecdotal humor.
>ywn read this part of the manga
it hurts bros
Bump for remembering.
>there are 7 VOLUMES of Koizumi sequel
what the fuck scanners
what do you recommend for mahjong manga (that's translated)? already read op pic, aki, akagi and some of ten.
this series inspired me to start playing mahjong
>found volumes upon volumes in osaka
>didn't buy any because might as well do that in tokyo
>can't find shit in tokyo
i'm sorry mahjong bros....
Shoubushi Densetsu Tetsuya. It's less about Mahjong and more about cheating the living shit out of people at Mahjong. But it's still a wild ride.
YOU FUCKING Yea ForumsTARDS REALLY NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT JUST BECAUSE SOMETHING DOESN'T HAVE CONSTANT THREADS DOESN'T MEAN IT'S FORGOTTEN.

stfu bitch, this manga really is forgotten, by translators that is
This one really is a forgotten gem, only anons from back when every chapterdump was getting Nagatoro-levels of popularity and majaan fans remember it now
Didn't help that not-Koizumi Jr. arc was kinda weak for a long part, Princess not getting translated further is a travesty though
it's ok bro, losing bets is also a part of the mahjong life
Tsai Ing-Wen: 68 y.o. high school student and magical girl. Never change, Japan....
is this from the princess part?
It has Hitler in it so yes.
