This fucking manga is like a masterpiece, I mean it's not perfect but it has a strange feeling of corruption in the first half and of nostalgy and apathy in the second half

I tried reading aku no hana but the ugly art turned me off.

Oshimi's art changes drastically over the course of the story. It improved a lot.

Bruh this was one of the most cringe moments in the manga

>Best buildup
>most cringe
Yeah ok.

My Wife Is Wagatsuma is overall pretty unremarkable and outside of being a treasure trove of obscure references, gags and decent enough waifus doesn't have much going for it, but I dunno, once the third girl Itou Ran was introduced and the manga actually started having plot, when Wagatsuma started feeling faint jealousy and Aoshima actually genuinely becoming a better person it actually started to shape up as a decent coming of age story. The way it creates this pseudo-harem is pretty interesting too.

this manga did decent job in "com". However the "rom" part is horrible. The author totally failed to convince the reader that Wagatsuma is best girl. Heck he even pointed out the reason why Wagatsuma dates the MC is just because she wants to have a friend who loves drama series like her. Not to mention the rush in the end, though I understand the author has no other choice. Overall an average manga. Great for some laughs but shouldnt expect it delivers anything else in term of romance. What a wasted potential manga

>Ulquiorra was a literal representation of nihilism
>Mocks materialistic desires and says how futile they are as a means to keep living.
>Gets defeated by those same desires turning into a mindless monster, showing him the importance of them and changing his outlook on humans.
>The page is ulquiorra (utter emptiness) or what he thought he was with his last conscious thoughts being about the same desires he reject before ironically turning into nothing.
>One of the best character growths in manga
>The culmination of said growth so perfect that a single world on a white page is enough to convey the emotion perfectly in a visual medium.
Kubo is a misunderstood genius.

Another user here. I also read Wagatsuma and the first half was good but towards the middle I lost interest because the author feels like didn't know how to continue the story so I dropped it halfway.
The German? foreigner and the mangaka girl are so much better and have more chemistry with MC that the author made them disappear halfway the story.

what do you call something that transcends masterpiece

This was gut-wrenching moment!

Bump

The art is good, writing is trash.

>writing is trash

Said to see how badly it ended.

Kodomo no Jikan.

These two pages changed the entire story from a girl jokingly liking her teacher and wanting his attention to a twisted acceptance of feelings that he tried to ignore, as well as a reflection on what a "relationship" truly is, society as a whole, morality and teaching, and what to do to help someone in an abusive situation.

I think I might be too old for this manga. The beginning has so much basic bitch philosophy wrapped up with melodramatic teen shit. I know it’s taking inspiration from older books and poems, but it feels like it wants to be deeper than it really is. I only made it through a couple of volumes, so I don’t know if it gets better.
