Nice, for once Netflix is doing something right.
But are they getting season two dubbed?
I don't believe you.
The OVAs literally finished adapting every chapter in the manga except for the epilogue. Would season 3 just be an entire season of filler?

Don't even know what there is to make a whole season out of.
OFFU T-TERUHASHI!?!
Aw snap. Good times.
Is the show not just "filler" already? Been a while since I watched it but I remember it as being pretty much a comedy with not tooooo much episode-to-episode coherence. Maybe I should rewatch
they'll finally fix the ending, and make the rest of the season about Saiki dating Teruhashi
Maybe they’ll get Aso to write a continuation. Netflix has that level of pull.
Oh shit it's real. The tweet says it's original (content) season. Thanks user
They can make a whole season of just Teruhashi Saiki shenanigans
I miss the manga
Fuck WSJ
wtf I love netflix now?!
Much as I adore Saiki, I really have to wonder what the fuck was going on in Netflix's mind to choose this of all series to push out a new season for. There must've been plenty of never evers they could've obtained that were a safer bet for cash.
Teruhashi influenced them
I assume they have the figures of how many people streamed it to judge whether making more would be worthwhile. It might have been surprisingly popular.
It's just nice that for once it isn't action shit that Netflix is pushing for, as that seems to account for at least 80% of their originals.
It's a gag manga, there isn't supposed to be much coherence except for small sub-plotlines that sometimes stretch over several episodes.
That said, shit was legit funny, something you can rarely say about any anime based on a gag manga.
Almost cromartie level of good.
Netflix japan just operate on different mind than Netflix US.
If it sells worldwide, good, but it is obviously for the Japanese market and Saiki is big in Japan.
After what happened to Gintama, I'm glad Saiki sticked to doing weekly comedy with little to no plot.
Saiki’s available worldwide on Netflix, probably adds up.
