I'm reading the manga right now and every time I see him in a chapter I groan. Most of the stupid characters are normally just one offs or only sick around for a while before disappearing but this little fucker is like a tumor on otherwise great cast. It's a shame really.

Takahashi had incredible skill regarding coming up with the settings and the originality of the cast when they are early on Yeah i know that inuyasha has a bunch of them basically being rehashes of old ones but count the numbers of people she introduced in UY and Ranma
She sucks at making them work in the long term and giving her stories a proper ending outside of Maison Ikkoku
