What are some good introductory anime? Preferably short(ish) ones that have run to completion. I just finished One Punch Man (a hilarious satire of anime) and really liked it.

Boku no Pico
...
Kuro no Baka is a story of a boy who is bullied by society and everyone around him, he is regarded as stupid, but in reality he is one who silently sacrifices himself to keep the world safe.
Sorry my lovely new user, but requests threads are relegated to the "Worksafe Request" board!
Best of luck and have a good day!
>anime for beginners
>HxH
Hunterchads won't like this
Rozen maiden
Azumanga Daioh
Evangelion
>starting with the best & realizing all other shows you watched after can't compare
Nice.
Rozen Maiden looks like something a lesbo would watch I'll pass
Azumanga daioh damn lol looks old as shit
I already saw Evangelion on Netflix thought it was cool when the robots fight.
Hated the edgy pseudo intellectual crap
>(a hilarious satire of anime)
nice bait
6/10 bait, made me nervous
you know there's an anime subreddit too so
>Rozen Maiden looks like something a lesbo would watch I'll pass
>Azumanga daioh damn lol looks old as shit
user this makes me so angry even tho i know you are baiting
just making sure you know there's somewhere you might feel more at home
Trigun
Hunter x Hunter, the one you posted, I highly recommend that by the way. It's for smart people.
Back in my day we all started with Cowboy Bebop, and we liked it god dammit
>so smart yet can't deduce from op's pic that it was intentionally cropped to provoke hxhchads
So smart, so smart. That must be the result of years of Yea Forums I guess
>gantz and panorama of hell in recommended manga
In the trash it goes
watch Watamote it's absolutely the funniest anime ever created. It had me crying from laughter in several episodes. watch all 12 but 6-8 are probably the funniest. It's on Hulu subbed but you can get a VRV free trial then cancel because it has it dubbed.
I was caught off guard, pleb.
This. Very intellectually stimulating anime
>VRV
there is no point anymore
if you're going to pay for streaming you should just get crunchyroll
Anime for casuals who eventually find better anime later
Literally any shounen
vrv includes crunchyroll, dumbass
Detroit metal city
>ITT: anglo white trash.

What the fuck does "Anime for beginners" and all that shit even fucking mean? Was there actually some retard out there thinking "Gosh those oriental cartoons sure must require some developed skillset to watch, I'm far too intimidated to watch K-On in case I make a mess of it" until Netflix reassured them that they can watch popular shounenshit as a beginner?
Detective Kunkun.
I'm saying it's a waste of money for all the extra not-anime garbage
It's true though. Normalfags can watch Hunter X Hunter but will never be able to appreciate isekai because they haven't met the requirements or developed the mindset yet. They won't even understand moe. HxH explains everything word for word so it's good for starters.
>looks like something a lesbo would watch
This made me laugh for some reason
How could you tell that One Punch Man was a satire of Anime if you need advice on Anime to start with?
Oldfags are the worst at pretending to be new.
As an answer pic related.
Not really. My first anime was Evangelion.
Neon genesis evangelion. Make sure to binge it all in one day.
you GOTTA watch ping pong, man. i mean its probably not great for beginners because it will ruin all other anime for you, but it is amazing. only 11 episodes but fits some god-tier characterisation and development into that time
the art style takes a bit of getting used to, but the animation is great
i mean it is enjoyable even without considering that aspect. i imagine it would be quite cool to watch it early on and then way later once you understand the context.
>appreciate isekai
stop trying so hard, just accept the genre is shit
>"Worksafe Request" board
Come on mates, at least tell him about in case he wants some non-worksave suggestions.
Isekai is easy to binge with low brain power as it always follows the same formula. It's an acquired taste much like wine and newfags would never understand it.
i mean, stuff like that has its place and all, but its hardly a point in its favour. i liked konosuba but only because its a satire, no other isekais interest me at all
