Raisen's speech at the end was kinda dumb since they cut out so much and made her do nothing at all during the fight. I like how they've reworked the pacing, as well as the non-CG designs, and especially the music/sound design, but everything else is just so shit.

Seriously, they could have at least spent 2 episodes on it. They didn't make the dungeon seem that bad. Half the charm of this dungeon was Miledi's constant messages and them constantly triggering traps, looping back around and having to deal with it with almost no magic.

Orcus was just a power level check, but other Labyrinths have some real nasty shit, like an entrance submerged under sea, Labyrinth full of lava, brainwashing, tricking you into attacking or fucking your companions, reversal of emotions, trapping you in a perfect dream or making you fight a clone that brings out your darkest thoughts and gets stronger the more in denial you are. And on top of that just reaching the end of the Labyrinth is not enough to get the reward, you have to actually complete the challenges yourself, so getting carried by stronger teammates won't give you shit.

In episode one, the MC even says out loud he doesn't care about revenge. It's to make it clear to the viewers that this anime is different from the LN. The anime is going to be far more light-hearted, giddy, and support the sales of merchandise. The author's initial written version had no inconvenience. The ammunition was automagically created. The guns were also automagically re-loaded with more ammunition as needed. He had a railgun, antimatter bullets, and a gatling. Not bad for being Afurita's version of Tony Stark abandoned in a cave by himself needing to invent these things. Unlike Tony, the MC went further and combined the railgun, antimatter, and gatling. He then had a lot of firepower with a gatling railgun shooting off antimatter bullets. The ammunition had no weight as it automatically came out of magic storage space and magically loaded itself without jamming.

The anime made the MC much less powerful.

Really disliked how they made Raisen dungeon look so easy, considering Hajime had to pop out his limit break + light speed skill to not get crushed by the thousands of millions of rock mass pouring down on them while also looking for places to land all at the same time.

This was something I was kind of expecting to see and it got so damn butchered it's pretty sad.
